Only post workout protein source you should be looking at. Bar none!!

I have been taking this as my only post workout protein source as it is so readily transported to the muscles after a workout. After listening to the pro maker George Farah and Kai greene at a seminar he explained in detail how much more beneficial that you use it in that critical half hour window post workout. Every other protein source wether it be isolate, concentrate etc are a waste of time as they still take a fair while to be utilised by the body. This hydrolysed whey has extremely fast absorption rates. The taste is not great but that's to be expected. To me if your more bothered about taste than product effectiveness and quality you shouldn't be bodybuilding. Mix ability is great. I don't get any lumps and clumps and I've tried it in a shaker bottle and water bottle. There is some foaming with it but nothing too major. There is No residue left at the bottom either. The Effectiveness has been positive. It is one of those products that is a slight change that could in the end make a big change to the overall picture especially if you are someone who likes to be one step ahead of the game and the competition. I take it first thing in the morning upon waking and within 10 minutes post workout. On each occasion I take 3 large MP scoops. Summary - This is a superb high protein, virtually zero carb and fat product. It is only for serious trainers and despite its price tag it's still the best value on the market by far. Highly recommended

Good protein

I have been using this protein for 2 months now and am happy with it. I use flavdrops with it ( 4 drops are enough) but even without it taste is ok. Mixes well with water. I can't say that it is solely responsible for my improvement as I use various other products but would like to believe it does what MyProtein say it does. Most important is that my stomach takes it ok as a few other myprotein proteims gave me issues.

Great product, but go for a flavoured batch

I tried the unflavoured version which is something i won't do again, if you like marmite then you might be ok with it. But this isn't about taste, the protein product is good and i recommend it to others. Easier on the stomach than normal whey so it's worth the extra money. Mixability isn't great though, leaves lumps but who cares - just gulp it down

someone who wants good gain without any gut issues

I have tried whey in past and stopped using it after few tries as it causes gut issues but I would say this one has been completely opposite! Tremendous job MP. I can have 2 scoops and sit down straight for dinner without feeling too heavy on tummy as it seems to disappear. Good luck

Good on stomach

Struggled with a number of whey products, including a few on My Protein. This is the first product that hasn't had any 'side-effects', so its worth any extra money. Added some flavour drops to give it some flavour; otherwise it pretty much taste of whatever you mix it with (milk or water). I use the Stevia Flavour drops - they don't have sucralose, so perfrect for this purpose. well done my protein - good all round couple of products

Quality

I've not had this product for long enough yet to judge its effectiveness but it is very easy to mix and creamy and pretty much tasteless; this makes it very useful to use as a supplement to other foods too. Add to all this, the fact that you can easily mix the required scoop and a half to no more than 150ml of water and you've got a very powder. Why people moan about the taste of a powder when it is drunk in such small quantities and for such a minuscule period of time in one's life I'll never know. And whoever said this tasted "bitter" is just plain lying. For me - results all the way; taste - unimportant. The icing on the cake is the price. So low that I am truly wondering whether this really IS hydrolysed protein? Hmmm!!!

Why oh why isn't there a flavoured option?!!

As the title suggests, only supplying this product in an unflavoured option is a serious error on the part of MyProtein... I am lucky that I am able to just choke down things that I don't like the taste of, something I've had to do in order to eat fish over the years, but I would rather not have to do so throughout my workout as its offputting to say the least. Even whenixed with a flavoured supplement, you can still taste the overpowering sour milk flavour of the hydrolysed whey. That said, I can't knock the quality or effectiveness of what is otherwise a fantastic product.
