Beta-Hydroxy Beta-Methylbutyrate, or more commonly known by its abbreviation HMB, is a metabolite of the branch chain amino acid leucine.

We recommend adding HMB to our Impact Whey Protein, as protein contributes to the maintenance growth and maintenance of muscle mass, or creatine monohydrate, with a daily intake of 3g, can increase physical performance in bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise.

Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 1g, shake and consume. Use 3 times daily.

Got to say this is the worst tasting supplement I've ever ingested, thought BCAA's powder was bad till I had this! It is effective though so will continue to take.
This supplement is something that will be a steady in my supplement stack forever. Not for the taste. The taste i horrible! But it works! 2 weeks in and i stopped getting doms. Stopped completely. So far i've suffered badly from doms, even after the smallest of workouts. But once it's in my system it just stops. One of my favorite products.Goes Well With:Anything you can get down fast
Don't mix it into your whey. HMB, I found, was fantastic for DOMS, but don't mix it with your whey. As soon as it arrives, smell it. Then taste it. Then be scared of it. I once tried shotting this with cod liver oil. It's got that bad of a taste. Goes Well With:Self-hate, things that already taste bad, etc
This tastes HORRIBLE. But it will increase your strength as well as overal muscle mass. beware that you will retain a bit of water if you take it so keep your water intake up
Appears to be working, although I'm taking other supplements too. Defo less DOMS and feel stronger, all while losing body fat. The taste is awful, do not mix with your shakes. Only way I can drink this is with a tiny amount of water and strong squash and neck it back like a shot, that way you can hardly taste it.Goes Well With:A shot size amount of 50% water / 50% squash.
It's ok, seems to work. Had no scoop inside pack so difficult in judging 1g or 6th of a teaspoon. Goes Well With:Mixed it with protein powder
My regime (exercise and calorie intake) has pretty much stayed the same over the last month apart from using this supplement (3times per day as instructed), and I'd say I've noticed more muscle and less fat on me. "I have been using MP HMB for a few weeks now and along with CEE, whey and BCAA's, I am making damn good progress! I don’t understand why so many people are moaning like little girls about the taste? Just spoon a bit in your mouth and wash it back with some quality H2O. Simple! "Got some the other day with great service from MP. It smells like White Gloss paint which is pretty weird but doesn't taste too bad (definately not as bad as Creatine Ethyl Ester). You need to give it a good stir to get it to mix though. Only been on the stuff for a couple of days so cant comment on the effects just yet. However, after researching the product I would say it is definately worth trying it out."
I mix with this flavored soya milk and stevia Impact Whey Protein and the taste is bearable compared to mixing it with anything else.Goes Well With:Flavoured soya milks

I can see what the product is doing, but it does taste like eating a stick of chalk. If i mix it in an electric mixer and add juice it does disguise the horrid taste, but the benefits will be told at the end of the month.
Product mixes really week, doesn't taste great on its own, I mix with my bcaa blue raspberry flavour. I'm drinking before during and after my workout! Goes Well With:Bcaa blue raspberry

I got the unflavoured pack... Defiantly NOT flavourless. Foul taste, that stays in your mouth. Going to keep going with it after reading all the good reviews about its effectiveness but I don't think I'll be buying this again.
Been taking for a few weeks now. No noticeable results. I find that it keeps weight, but think is down to water retention rather than anything else. Doesn't seem to help with post training soreness. The taste isn't good, but not as bad as some suggest. Taste is better than pea/brown rice protein. You get used to it after a week or so. I'd suggest you go for a smaller size if you decide to try it.You might not save money, but its better than having kilos of worth of talcum powder!Goes Well With:A mixer. Mixability is poor!
have used this product whilst dieting to lose bodyfat and found it excellent in retaining muscle mass. tastes awful who cares?!Goes Well With:Hard training and a good diet.
It always helps me get a little leaner and good for recovery. But I use a teaspoon of it 3 times a day. Can't say I notice a whole lot on 1.5g x 3 times a day. Re the taste.....add it to a little flavoured carbonated (helps it mix quicker) water in a shaker and shake. Taste practically gone.:)
I bought a bag about a month ago and have been taking on workout days. Ive been experimenting with the time taken and the results are pretty similar. Ive never really suffered with DOMs only when Ive had a long break from a particular mucle group. But as mentioned in the majority of reviews its tastes horrible, Ive been mixing it with squash and you can still make out the "taste of feet"! Its difficult to tell if there's any gains in mass as Ive been taking other products with HMB so Im torn whether to get another bag. Purchase wisely people!! Would possibly only recommend if you suffer badly with DOMs
