Beta-Hydroxy Beta-Methylbutyrate, or more commonly known by its abbreviation HMB, is a metabolite of the branched chain amino acid leucine.
Growing in popularity since the 1990s, HMB is now widely used in many ‘all-in-one’ products. So why not try creating your own? Our HMB is made for this.
We recommend adding HMB to our Impact Whey Protein, as protein contributes to the maintenance growth and maintenance of muscle mass, or Creatine Monohydrate, with a daily intake of 3g, can increase physical performance in bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise.

Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add 1g, shake and consume. Use 3 times daily.

Not sure why everyone complains about the taste. I've been warned that it's not the best if you get unflavoured, so I made sure I ordered summer fruits. Tastes quite good if you mix it with water or even better with any berry juice. But the best thing I discovered is when you mix summer fruits HMB with Vanilla Whey Protein + water. It simply transforms into a strawberry milkshake and tastes amazing! As for the efficiency, this stuff does improve recovery time a lot. Even if you do get the occasional DOMS after a really hard workout, the muscle pain doesn't last that long (before I would suffer from pain for days after a long workout). So it's a really good product, would definitely recommend it, just make sure to get a flavoured one if you are that sensitive to taste. Another benefit is to mix it with your protein before and after training. P.S. Be careful when opening the pouch, the stuff is quite sticky, so some of it might be trapped near the plastic zip. The new flavours are really good! Only just got it and right away tried the Cranberry/Pomegranate flavour and I am really impressed with it. Almost no hint of the hmb taste anymore, I was expecting it to be much worse. So i checked the label of how much they had to cut it to get it to that stage. The label now reads: HMB-Ca (80%), Flavouring (Colour (Beetroot Red), Acid (Citric Acid), Sweetener (Sucralose), Natural Flavouring Substances) This means that only 62% of your powder will be pure HMB now (since only 78% of HMB-Ca is HMB in the first place). The taste reminds me more of Rasberry to be honest but its not bad at all. Mixability is also a bit improved I'd say. It dissolves 100% with a bit of stirring.
If it was possible to rate it lower than 1 star for taste i would, absolutely VILE! Goes Well With:Battery acid
First month taking this and have just ordered the 500g bag. I Started a cut / increased cardio to 5 20 min sessions a week, with reduced calorie intake. DOMS are still there, but only slightly < tired / drained muscle feeling, no pain > as i push myself hard, but noticeably less than they would be without this. Taste is really not that bad, i mix one spoon with about 200ml water, mix it in well, and neck it all down in one go, its a but sour, but really not bad at all. No problem with this supplement as i buy this for what it does, not what it tastes like, and it does what it says it does well. My fat has reduced, muscles have tightened - as it does with the all the work and the whole cutting process in general, but my muscles are still there, commented that they look bigger / much more toned than my last cut, and HMB is the only thing i have done differently this time around. Go for it, it will be worth it, if the taste kills you, mic it in a shake with blueberries / peanut butter / whey if needed. good luck and happy gains to everyone!
Took this I have gone massive , lifts are mental gone from 40kg dumbbell press to 90kg easy to , my calves for some reason have gone huge and lower back Goes Well With:Bcaa
Don't mix it into your whey. HMB, I found, was fantastic for DOMS, but don't mix it with your whey. As soon as it arrives, smell it. Then taste it. Then be scared of it. I once tried shotting this with cod liver oil. It's got that bad of a taste. Goes Well With:Self-hate, things that already taste bad, etc
I mix with this flavored soya milk and stevia Impact Whey Protein and the taste is bearable compared to mixing it with anything else.Goes Well With:Flavoured soya milks

I can see what the product is doing, but it does taste like eating a stick of chalk. If i mix it in an electric mixer and add juice it does disguise the horrid taste, but the benefits will be told at the end of the month.
