Like them a lot
5Healthy ingredients, very high in fibre, very easy to chew and tastes great after a while. When I first tasted them I thought they tasted too earthy but after a whole box I got used to the taste and have now become quite addicted to it. Goes Well With:On its own

Meh for taste Yes for energy
4Cheesy title, I know. Admittedly the first bar does lack in flavor, however, by the end of the last bite, I started to enjoy it. I think it is important to underline our individual taste bud sugar threshold. I don't eat sweets, and I have an inkling that most people leaving negative comments about it are used to high levels of sucrose. Bottom line, if you eat and drink sugary substances (i.e. soda, milk, cakes) you will find this bar quite tasteless. On another note, regarding the effectiveness, I doubt anybody has complained about it.

What is this filth?
1To be honest, I'm really struggling to finish the box (yes, I bought a whole box- silly me). The ingredients look good on paper and it curbs my hunger for around three hours. But boy, oh, boy, this earthy bar puts me in a bad mood afterwards because it's so unenjoyable to eat! Imagine eating mud mixed with a few pumpkin seeds and sweeteners and you'll have a fairly good idea as to how it tastes. Definitely buy a sample as it is an acquired taste. Goes Well With:Mouthwash

AVOID
1I am pretty open minded when it comes to trying something new but these, yuck, they have been thrown in the bin. I can't even bring myself to eat them. There is absolutely no taste to them and even my husband has turned them down. Goes Well With:The bin

Aweful taste
3I recently discovered hemp seeds which is super rich in protein. I'm adding hemp seeds over my salad or with Greek yogurt and I thought these bars would be a great way to reduce my meat consumption while maintaining my protein intake. Unfortunately the taste was so bad I only had half of the bar. I was left with a displeasing aftertaste. I would order them if they would come come with some kind of flavor.

5I’m amazed at the number of folk trying this product for the sake of having a change from a whey protein bar & expecting it to taste the same & have the same texture. It’s a vegan product. The taste & texture is not be anything like whey protein. If you are vegan you’ll probably get on well this product. I do & I’m grateful that 'My Protein' have created a protein bar for vegans. Goes Well With:Vehan Protein, Hemp Protein.

Not Bad!
4In all honesty I was quite happy that I only ordered a sample as the taste was quite a challenge to stomach and I don't imagine I would've looked forward to getting through another 11 bars... The only way I can describe the taste is like a very earthy granola bar, minus the sweetness. Despite this, the bar was actually quite filling despite its size, which I'd expected to be bigger when initially ordering it. I had my bar for breakfast along with a smoothie and I found that I was set for the next 4-5 hours, so definitely good if your on a weight loss goal and need a filling snack that still provides with your daily protein needs. All in all, this isn't a bad product at all and is a helpful choice for all the veggies and vegans out there that need their protein too! Only thing to be aware about is the taste but if you can stomach that then there's no reason not to give this a go.
