"As with the others it's disgusting - It took me 15 minutes of trying to force it down the first time... BUT only until you get used to it. I dreaded protein time for three-four days when I first got this powder but once you acquire the taste for it after 5-7 days you can drink it like orange juice. It's really not that bad. Anyway, moving on... I feel this has given me the benefits I want in terms of size and strength. But I'm not sure if it's a huge benefit over Hurricane XS. I suppose it's personal preferance, so if you want a shake that tastes like a milkshake go for XS, but if you like the idea of all those wonderful BCAAs, etc and you can stomach the first week of drinking this then go for the Extreme."

"First things first, in-keeping with tradition of the rest of the comments - the taste is pretty disgusting. However, if you use milk instead of water its so much better. I tried it first with water and I had to pinch my nose and down it, and even then I was barely able to keep it down. It does taste foul. Second time, I tried milk and its actually not bad. I'd even go as far to say it does taste like chocolate, just not the kind you'd get from a fast food place. Don't worry about the taste though, because in my opinion, this is the real deal if your serious about training. I was buying whey protein and creatine separately but this just has everything, all nice and compact into one shake and its much cheaper than buying separately, and that't not even including all the extra BCAA's and Glycine. I trained after taking this yesterday and it really showed, I felt energised, I felt I could do more reps than usual (I'll put that down to the creatine) and overall, I should have been aching like a bitch this morning but I was able to train again today which is awesome. The short of it is, it doesn't taste amazing so if that's a massive factor for you then I'd strongly recommend the PHD range as their flavours are flawless. Cookies and cream .. seriously, its as much of a treat as it is a protein shake. However, I didn't feel like I do when I was drinking PHD shakes as I do with this one. I'll post another review in a month, detailing my results. So far so good."

"I have tried alot of different protein and bodybuilding shakes in the past. The latest drink I have been using is Hurricane XS and have seen very good gains from it,one of the better drinks tried( recommended)with good taste in chocolate, so thought I would try a few pouches of Hurricane Extreme as it is ment to be even better. I ordered strawberry flavour and the taste is very very bad, worst flavour drink I have ever tried, ever and I am not usually fussy over taste! I find it best to mix it with water insted of milk and just get it down fast.The drink after training goes down better than the one in the morning! If you use milk i would drink then milk on its own after a shake made with water! If the gains are good I dont care what it taste like , but it is a shame as the Hurricane XS chocolate flavour is fairly good and I dont look forward to drinking the Hurricane Extreme. As for gains I will put a post up after a pouch or two as too early too review gains yet and compare it to the gains I saw with the Hurricane XS. I use 2 shakes a day one in morning and one in changing room after work out!"

"Ok, so I was abit cautious about swapping from my usual true whey + creatine + bcaa combination. Alot of the reviews said that it tasted bad etc. Being objective it doesn't taste QUITE as nice as the plain old choco smooth true whey, but it still tastes good and it's a pleasure to drink. Really hoping that the extra carbs and pro mix of other things like creatine/bcaa give me that extra boost that I need. I've done a load of measurements today and I'm gonna do them all again in a month. Definately his a palto, so will review this product again once it's had chance to work. Re: delivery, I ordered at about 1pm yesterday sat in a nice cafe in London, it arrived 10.20 today at my house. I've NEVER had any problems with myprotein and DPD delivery."

"Hi Guys, I've only been using this product for two days (post workout), so I can't really report on the long term gains, however I thought I'd write this report to help those buying this product to get it down them! But I can say that my recovery from yesterday was as good as the previous All-in-one I was using (Hurricane xs) and that judging by the content of the product the gains should be superior to that of Hurricane xs, and should save a hell of a lot of money on other products. I can also say that if you are looking for a tasty milkshake then this is not the product for you! Yesterday I used Hurricane Extreme for the first time after my morning gym session (Back day) and I thought I would follow the guidelines and take 3 scoops in 500 ml of milk, initially the taste was ok however after about 250ml the bitter after taste really hits you and it becomes difficult to drink the rest. Undeterred I drank the rest of it. I have to say I have a pretty strong stomach but after drinking 500ml relatively slowly (in about 10 minutes) I felt a little ill for the rest of the day. However, I was determined not to be beaten by this product, especially as I spent 40 quid on it and judging by the ingredients it could have real beneficial effects. So today I decided to follow a previous review and down it in two servings (1 and 3/4 scoops in 250ml of milk twice). This method helped no end and actually the shake tasted a lot better and was actually quite nice with no bitter after taste. Therefore, I recommend that anyone buying this product not to drink it but to down it fast in two servings for palatability and hopefully it should have some real effect in the long term! "

"I am a regular user of My Protein products because alongside a good diet and hard training theyv work. This is the first time that I have bought a product online, usually I go into a store, and I am not overly impressed. I ordered the product on Sunday and it did not arrive until Friday afternoon with the normal, not slowest super saver, postage. 5 days to get a product seems a little excessive in this day and age. This problem was further compounded by My Protein failing to get back to me on their Customer Service messaging system. I received an automatic reply and have heared nothing since. Not feeling valued here. As a serving soldier, I am by no means a prima donna and not overly fussy about the finer things in life. However, Hurricane Extreme genuinley tastes like soluble aspirin and it makes me feel queasy when drinking it. I don't care if a sports supplement tastes great because if I wanted a chocolate milkshake then I would go to a fast food joint. This is the first product in 15 years of supplemeting which I have had to force down. I won't be ordering this product again. Back to buying Hurricance Evo, until My Protein sort the taste out, in a store from now on I think. "

"I've tried True Whey before and it was pretty amazing. I have my periods when I have more time to do heavy training and periods when I have less time, and I've noticed that even taking the True Whey (in moderation) when I'm hardly doing any exercise still helps build considerable muscle. I was so impressed that I decided to take it to the next level with this product. It mixes very easily. Tastes fine. It's a protein shake. It's dumb to expect it to taste like anything else. Effectiveness - not sure yet, but judging by how extremely effective True Whey was, I imagine this should be even better for the higher price and judging by the ingredients. "

"Man alive, so it really does taste bad. BUT not the worst flavour myprotein does, Toffee Hurricane XS still holds that title. Right for you newbs who have never had an all-in-one, they pretty much all taste like this so man up or take everything separately. I've tried 99% of all-in-ones on the market (i'm a lazy, so sue me) and this one doesnt taste the worst, better than reflex's version. The creatine could've been refined a bit better, value for money is good (with the 3kg for 2kg offer anyway). And the BCAA's pushes above the rest, and is also the explanation behind the acidic taste. Just so ya knows i'm using chocolate flavour. "

"Ive recently change from the EVo to the EXtreme and find the two product mix totaly diffrent and i can't seem to get a thinker shake. ive used the milk in diffrent amount from 300ml to the reomended 500ml and ive even tried adding instance oats to thicken, i find the amount of sweetener makes the product a bit sickly but way hey nothings prefect, but will probly go back to the EVO next order"
