Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Add 1.5g, shake and consume immediately. Use 2 times daily, preferably between meals for the first 4 weeks, then once daily thereafter.

Firstly, I find reading these reviews hilarious. Why do people think this is a stimulant? The tingling that is associated has absolutely nothing to do with the actual performance benefit. There are many reasons that the 'tingle' might not be present, and its actually quite normal for this effect to diminish once your body's carnosine conc. increases. There is no benefit behind having beta-alanine directly before a workout and is therefore useless taken sporadically in so called 'pre-workout supps', which are only really useful for the caffeine content. I'm not saying everyone should be an expert in nutrition, but they should certainly have a reasonable understanding of the supplements they take and for what purpose. Beta-alanine taken correctly (6 g daily for the first 4 weeks, 3 g daily thereafter) will increase carnosine, and in turn, improve tolerance to very high intensity exercise although published evidence is only just in favour of this theory.Goes Well With:Knowledge of what it is and how to use it
Having never taken this product before I was initially shocked by it's impact. When it kicks in you get an intense tingling, uncomfortable, like being stabbed by needles all over. I soon realised I was taking too much and at the wrong time. Take this just before a work out and when the tingling kicks in make sure you've started your session, usually takes about 10 -15 minutes. The feeling you get makes you push harder and the harder you push the less uncomfortable the tingling. Having read that back it sounds bizarre but it's exactly how I feel. It doesn't mix brilliant but it's not shocking. It also doesn't taste great but let's face it....it's not meant to be a milkshake. I'll be buying this again for sure, really noticed strong results. A more intense session with an added pump. Goes Well With:BCAA powder and a pre workout. I mix 1 part beta, 1 part bcca, 1 shot of pre work out (opposed to the 2 shots the mix recommends, 1 part whey protein and some coffee granules. Mix it up, throw it down you and have an incredible session!
I use this mixed with juice, it’s got a neutral taste so cant taste it. Mixes well apart from a few little bits that sink to the bottom of my sports bottle, however this is not so bad. I found before taking this I would get the muscle ache burn and my muscles would fatigue too early and even cause me to fail reps and had a mixture of days were I be low on energy and have to lift lighter weights and keep failing reps. Since taking Beta Alanine however I’ve found that it combats this issue I can maintain my training without any major fatigue and can train longer with a boost also in explosive force, which was a bonus for me on days were I didn’t quite have enough energy to get the movement going. I can now train longer and push myself further now. I find I now get a good training session all the time now. In terms of the pins and needles, I’ve found I only get this over 2g per serving. However I wouldn’t say it’s that bad, not even the kind of pins and needles you get when your arm goes to sleep after circulation returns. I would describe it as more of a warming mild tingling, almost like if you have used a muscle spray after sports to give a warming sensation more localised around the facial area. This doesn’t last long for those who are put off by this effect. I have found using with Creatine has the effect of enhancing each other. Goes Well With:creatine

New to all this, just started using it few weeks back and i can say 100% it helps A LOT with my work outs (i take it 30 min before with Creatine) Only question, how many calories does it have ??

Am I really the only person on here who gets extremely nauseous after taking Beta -Alanine? The sickness kicks in after about 30 mins and, as you can imagine, totally ruins a planned workout. Next day I tried another 3g and again the same outcome only this time I took it post workout. I didn't feel any of the tingles mentioned (except in my stomach!) and was starting to wonder if it was a rogue batch I'd received.I read through a few online forums and it appears that there are quite a few people who have experienced similar side-effects. My advice would be to purchase a small quantity first to be sure you don't suffer as I did and be left with a near full bag lying redundant on the kitchen shelf. Other than that it mixes well and is pretty much tasteless. I gave it a third attempt a few days ago and same old story. I,m now staying clear of anything that contains the stuff which unfortunately is most pre-workouts.Oh well, I do get an amazing buzz from caffeine-so espresso all the way!Goes Well With:A bucket and a napkin.
I use this as part of my performance nutrition programme. I'm County Champion, Midlands Counties Champion and I'm now selected for an International by England Athletics. Wass not too sure on this but as it was fairly cheap, i thought id give it a go, added it with PulseV4 and after 10mins of taking, felt that tingleness which you get from most pre workouts. Great for mixing with other pre workout sups! Goes Well With:pluse v4, bcaas
I've bought 1 kg of Beta-alanine, been taking it for 4 weeks now. About it's taste: No taste at all, which is perfect for me. I'm drinking it with water, I can't feel any difference in the taste compared to the water without Beta-alanine. About the mixability: It's okay. I put it in the shaker pour some water then shake for 5 seconds. About the effectiveness: As I said I've been taking it for 4 weeks, which is not a long duration, Beta-alanine needs time to show effects on endurance. I can clearly feel some effects, so I say I'm really satisfied with it. I would recommend it to anyone, thinking about increase endurance.Goes Well With:Water ( I think everything, because it has no taste)
I have recently started a strict workout routine and purchased some supplements that I have never used before and I have to say this really helps a lot! I take Beta Alanine in a shake with Total Nutri Greens (Tropical) and water half an hour before all workouts. You can feel your skin starting to tingle about 25-30 mins after you have consumed the shake, which means it's working and you can start your workout. The difference I noticed is that I can run for much longer and feel less fatigued and also weight training becomes much easier (at one point I though I must have been doing something wrong because I felt really great and could workout for way longer than before). Will definitely be purchasing Beta Alanine again after I finish my pack!
As I've got older, I have become more concerned with effective supplementation in an ever increasing effort to try and maintain strength and muscle mass. Apart from good nutritional supplements, such as whey protein, and the ubiquitous creatine monohydrate, I have found very few, if any, have any real measurable effect - either on the scales/body composition or with objective workout performance. Beta Alanine is the exception to the rule and, for me, produces the kind of results that were previously limited to creatine. Workouts are more energetic and muscle contraction is more vigorous/sustainable. The results can also be measured in terms of body composition - an extra 1.5 pounds of lean muscle in around 6 weeks (with no other changes in either diet, lifestyle or training protocols). Mixes very easily. It has zero taste when taken with juice. For me, the tingling sensation kicks in after 15 minutes and lasts about 1-2 hours and is tolerable (I actually like it), but avoid taking before sleep! I've only been taking it for a few days so I will not comment on effectiveness.Goes Well With:Creatine, juice. Best taken between meals.

3-5g after working out is plenty for me and have made significant strength and muscle size gains since using it. Advise taking it alongside food due to minimise the tingling effect beta alanine causes. Will be taking everyday now for sure.Goes Well With:Creatine post workout

Came in hard limos like sugar cubes and inCannot find CarnoSyn® on the ingredients which I was told is the most important one of all. Would be useful is MP would confirm if it's in there.

My first review on the site, so please judge it accordingly. I've ordered several supplements from Myprotein, one of them was beta alanine. My regime contains a morning hiit and a resistance training late afternoon. Before the hiit training i take a serving of Mypre (which contains 1,5g of beta alanine). As for the resistance workout i take 3 grams (0.105 oz) along with cee as a pre-workout. Definetly take it with creatine (the type of it should be according to your preference), as the two work in synergy. The main reason to take it is to boost the carnosine levels in your muscles, which in turn slowes down the hydrogen ion buildup. This is important becase these ions limit the work you could accomplish through your training. It should be consumed in phases ( buildup phase and maintenance phase). The only side effect i've experienced is the tingling sensation along my face. It urges you to train so it works as intended. Definetly worth the price, if you need a good pre-workout supplement.Goes Well With:Creatine
