Does the job
Its a better alternative to other fast carbs like dextrose or Maltodextrin, because you are less likely to put on weight from it. Don't listen those bro-scientists who claim that it is just a corn flour. I have tried both and this is digested much quicker, because it is more processed. Ideal refueling gun for post-workout. It mixes well, you do not even need a shaker, spoon will do. So, if you want to take fast carbs after workout, but not risk putting on fat, than this is the way to go. It is quite expensive, but thing about how much you waste on many useless things. This at least has a purpose.Goes Well With:Whey Protein

After trying dextrose which was just sugar basically. I tried waxy maize starch. Found it to be very good as it tastes fine and mixes easily with my Shake. Great for getting carbs in. It can make a mess though, would recommend buying a MyProtein tub to pour it into as you can scoop it out easier without making a mess. Goes Well With:MyProtein whey. Water

Easy to mix into a shake and good amount of carbs, helps me hit my daily macros easily. Can be a bit gritty in taste, but might just be as I make my shakes quite thick with little water. Doesn't taste like anything so easy to drink. Goes Well With:Impact Whey Chocolate Smooth

As a long distance cyclist I need to get a burst of energy without stopping and waxy maize mixed in with water and orange squash has been a really good addition to my cycling routine. No need to fiddle with energy bars ( not easy when riding),I can just reach down for my bottle and get the energy I need. Goes Well With:Orange squash!
