"Its dextrose, youre not going to see any difference using it alone. Mix it with your whey or other suppplements and it helps your body take the supplement in and use it effectively. If you're using dextrose, you already know the science. Top product, does exactly what it says on the tin."

"When product arrived with the rest of my order I wanted to try it out with the melon protein powder. I ordered melon flavour so I could mix it with water instead of milk like i do all the time and thought this would be good to add in to improve the taste and be good for pre and post workout carbs. The powder is like a very fine sugar and it is as sweet as if not sweeter than sugar if that is possible, this makes me wonder if MP got the dosing right of one large scoop, it probably is for nutritional values however I put slighlty less than a half a large scoop in to my shake and it made it so sweet it was almost undrinkable. Don't get me wrong the product is everything it is supposed to be and will most likely do what it is supposed to however if you are not prepared for the sweetness you will be in for a shock. Might take with the creatine that I ordered to help with absorption (look at MP's creatine gluconate, this stuff with the mono would do same job). Also will try it in my homemade isotonic drink it should work well in that, tastes just like the branded stuff. Add 150ml pure orange juice to a normal orange dilute and water,pinch or two of salt and probably a heaped teaspoon or two of this...try it!"

"this is a great product to mix with anyting that is unflavored...specialy if you drink it before training with BCAA, EAA or salts...lets face it you have to use all those, and on mp they are the cheapest but taste horrible, but if you mix with glucose...it becomes pretty great tasting stuff and um thing mp folks missed to mention is that glucose is predigested sugar, yep same sugar you got in your kitchen...just easyer to absorb it...so it pretty much does the same thing as normal sugar, just does it quicker! tho cause of that reason only i preffer glucose"

ordered this product got it next day from myprotein so hats of there guys. great little product and cheapest iv found so will be back for more as i use this in my training daily as a carbohydrate which increases my energy balance which facilitates creatine and amino acid transport to the tissue cells.

"this is what it is, its just dextrose. its sweet in taste. i use it for my post workout shakes and find it of excellent qualtiy. improves mixability of other powders such as protein etc which is helpful."

"Only just purchased a bag of this stuff and seems quite good. Am currently mixing it with water, 30g whey protein and creatine post work out. Is this ok? Can it be mixed with milk instead of water????????????????"

Dextrose is dextrose - but thank you to MP for supplying it in bulk at a reasonable price. Dextrose is hugely important as part of any pwo shake for recovery and growth! Mix 40-60g with 40g of protein to create the perfect shake for recovery and growth - this means you can spend the rest of your money on a quality protein powder that you can simply add the dextrose to! Also great for adding to any protein shakes throughout the day to create your own mass gainer! Simply add 15g dextrose and 20g powdered oats to 30g of protein!
