Myprotein Smartshake™ - Lite - Blue - 1 Litre

I’ve had this shaker about 8 months now and it’s great I can easily mix up the hard gainer extreme in this with 650ml of full fat milk, I used to use a blender as standard sized shakers weren’t good enough but the litre shaker is big enough to be able to mix a shake by hand! Going to buy a new one now as it’s starting to smell a bit but probably only because there’s been times I haven’t washed it soon after use!

It's a big mixer and I can fit a whole litre of liquid but as a mixer it's not the best. I prefer the other cheaper one

The Smartshake Blue 1 Litre shaker is a slightly larger than normal plastic shaker for mixing up protein shakes. It looks great, the top screws on tight easily, the flip cap opens and closes fine, and it even comes with a caribina for the gym locker key, car key etc. It does not use a wire ball for mixing but has a hexagonal, cone-shaped grille that is placed between the main bottle body and the screw top. It holds a full litre of water fine with room to spare. I absolutely love it, what is great is that the white MYPROTEIN branding looks fantastic against the blue plastic. Over some 20-odd years of training in various forms, I have also acquired shakers of various shapes, colours etc. And in all honesty, shock horror, my Buchsteiner shaker from the 90's is more robust than this one by Smartshake, which cracked and split upon hitting carpark tarmac from a virtigo inducing height of 2 feet. Thankfully it was only water that I had in it, but I would have been extremely peeved if it was protein or intra/post workout. So, if it was stolen, would I buy it again: Yes. Now that I know it is so fragile, would I buy it again: Yes, because it holds a litre of fluids, looks good, and is BPA free. Do I recommend this product: It's not totally bad but the fragility is an issue.
Goes Well With:
Water. Does not go well with tarmac or concrete, or any hard surfaces. Treat it as though it were made of thin glass.

This bottle is only good for water. If you have protein shakes in it the shake gets trapped in the lid and is very hard to clean. So starts to smell tiny bits fall off in to new drink etc. I just use this for water now in the gym.

The bottle itself is okay. It mixes your shake really well and really quickly. However I dropped my bottle once after having it for less than a week and it shattered completely! Useless!

Order 2 of these and can honestly stat that they are every bit as good as advertised. Leak proof durable and excellent value for money compared to other types available

Got it today and noticed that it is leaking through the top screw when screwed well. Very disappointed with this purchase, but the capacity is great anyway. Do not recommend.

Good for mixing and leak free. Only problem is that you can't really see the measurement unless you have good lighting.

Any protein powder or mass gainer.

Brilliant bottle, perfect for my shakes will defo buy again

I ordered 4 of these to add to my existing 3, so I can just make a batch of protein shakes at the beginning of the week then just forget abt it. One arrived damaged and leaked. But MP were great and sent a replacement right away. These are about 50% bigger than what I'm used to, but the extra room makes mixing easier as you do less work, all in all great value!
