Probably one of the best tasting proteins I've ever tried.
I've used a lot of proteins from various brand over the years and the one thing that really gets on my nerves is when they either discontinue the flavour that prefer or, change the recipe making it taste worse than if it had been left alone. I haven't really tried Myprotein whey products before and I am usually reluctant to keep jumping from on brand to another. I like to find that one product and stick to it. Birthday cake flavoured whey from Myprotein is by far, and i don't say this lightly, the single most best tasting proteing I've ever tried. When mixed with milk it tastes absolutely sublime. Hints of a cake-like taste hit you as soon as you taste it and it has such a lovely aroma. Even my other half thinks that it tastes nice and she has hated every protein flavour I have used. It mixes well and like some proteins, does not leave a gritty or horrible aftertaste. My protein has got a winner on its hands here and I hope it will keep on producing it. They will have a new, long term customer should they run with this. Goes Well With: Milk will add immensely to the flavour of this product.

I’ve used this in mug cake recipes and it’s gorgeous but had it in my banana and blueberry pancake mix today and it was absolutely delicious 😋 cake to order it again and it’s not available 😢 Goes Well With: Pancakes 🥞

Ooh it’s soo cakey...and with sprinkles!!!
Opening the bag you get this waft of cake that is enough to get my inner fat kids heart pounding. It smells like that sweet delicate birthday cake that you would get from a proper bakery as opposed to a chemically enhanced cake flavour. Spooning the powder out reveals the nice little touch this flavour has with hundreds and thousands lacing the powder. A bit of a novelty I guess but it certainly aids it! The flavour of this is absolutely on point...like someone had blended a cake in a shaker it is stunning. With a traditional vanilla / raspberry inner, but with the frosting slapped on top this is a flavour like no other! Drinking this sent me right back to baking as a youngster and “cleaning” the bowl. Mix quality is awesome, it seems to mix better than some of the other impact whey and provided a lovely smooth consistency. I have mixed with water and with milk and both work lovely! Given its low calorie / carb content my inner fat kid is now looking at baking with this bad boy mix as it would add an amazing flavour to some baked treats I’m pretty sure this is a limited edition only available around Myprotein’s birthday so make sure you don’t miss out if you wanna try! Buttery cakey dream
No idea why anyone would throw shade at this flavour- I have a bit of an obsession with bday cake flavour protein powder, bought so many different brand but this is by far the yummiest one I have tried! It actually tastes like bday cake batter, and has an amazingly rich buttery undertone! Makes my oats and yogurt taste like cake batter - that’s the dream! I would just recommend adding a few vanilla or cheesecake flavour drops to the mix cuz it really brings out the flavour. Goes Well With: Oats, yogurt

Love love love
Absolutely in love with this flavour Birthday Cake! I mix mine with Almond milk & have found it to mix really well. I love milkshakes but can’t drink milk so this is an amazing daily alternative & I look forward to a shake after my workout. I blended it with a banana & Almond milk for a quick meal replacement & it was even more amazing. Really thick & creamy I definitely recommend. Goes Well With: Almond milk

Not as good as others
Purchased this flavour as a trial. It is perfectly drinkable but essentially tastes like a vanilla shake with a hint of a raspberry taste. Think some of the other flavours in stock are nicer but still drinkable Goes Well With: skimmed milk
