I didn’t like these to start with … strong taste and wasn’t sure what I could use them for other than over porridge and found quite hard and overpowering taste but after using them in my banana oat cookies …. Perfect for oat cookies
I bought theses some time ago thinking I could just nibble on them when I fancy a hit of chocolate but they’re far too bitter and taste like coffee beans …. So I’ve left them in the cupboard for a while then I found a recipe for no bake oat cookies oats, bananas cinnamon and a bit of salt and I’m obsessed you put them in they don’t taste bitter … I’ve not tried to baked them yet so don’t know how the taste would change ….
