Do I need to take a pre-workout?
Not necessarily! It may be useful to use if you're feeling tired or if you struggle with motivation to train at certain times!
Do I need to take an intra-workout?
It depends on the type of activity; those performing long duration, endurance exercise, such as running and cycling, may require intra-workout nutrition to sustain performance.
Do I need to take a post-workout?
A post-workout can help optimise your exercise results; whilst no supplement is a necessity, that does not mean that they can't make a significant difference to your performance, recovery and body composition.
Do I need to take all 3?
For virtually everyone a post-workout would be of significant benefit and your first consideration, then pre and intra are dependant on your personal situation and the form of exercise you're doing.
Can I go to the gym on consecutive days?
Of course, however, it's important to follow a structured exercise programme that allows for rest - as this is the time you recover and your body adapts.
