Mix together : - 200g of vita fiber - Approx the same volume of water (slightly less) Microwave until the mixture is CLEAR! Stop straight after it starts to bubble or you'll turn it into rock which took approx 1 minute in a 750w microwave so keep an eye on it for more powerful microwaves. Mix in : - 175-200g My Protein impact whey Salted Caramel (this goes SOOOOOO well with it), the amount of protein will impact the consistency so this may require some experimenting - Optional : 15 drops of vanilla/toffee/white chocolate flavdrops (intensifies flavour) Mix this really well until it thickens and cools slightly, then transfer it into a lined baking or silicone tray and leave in the fridge overnight. I am a chocolate addict, which is reason why i was never in shape, in fact Chocolate probably accounts for 80% of my bodyfat. KitKat, Snickers, Oreos you name it, its all there lying above my muscles inside my fat cells in the form of triglycerides, However while wasting my time on Youtube one day, i came across a video, then another and another of a protein bar which people claimed tasted exactly like real candy bars with the toxic ingredients. I tried it and the rest is history. The bar was Quest and it is the greatest thing on earth since Adam ate the apple. Not only because it tastes good, BUT because its the only thing the food industry has managed to create in the last 100 years THAT TASTES GOOD AND IS GOOD TO THE BODY. They are such a life saver, Imagine sitting in a meeting feeling hungry and as you walk out the room you see a vending machine full of candy. You cant stop yourself BUT that is 250 calories from a single bar of Snickers, which includes 27g of sugar, the most lethal and toxic food product ever created. That one bar will wipe out a whole week of gainz in the gym, but now you have Quest, which you can keep in your bag and kill that craving with a bar of the most delicious protein ever made. However there was one drawback, it cost a flipping 3 quid for a single bar. NOW I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU Thanks to the Vitafiber, now you can make those quest bars for a fraction of the cost, in fact they are even better when you make them yourself. - Just use 35g of powder, mix in 1tbsp of water and mix in saucepan on medium heat till it bubbles. - Then put the liquid in bowl and throw in your 1 scoop of protein (flavour of your choice) - Throw anything you want to mix in (peanut butter, oreos, choc chips etc.) - Mix and mould into shape of a bar, then stick in fridge for 1 hour - Eat the most healthiest candy bar on the planet and feel good about it :) Experimenting with this has turned me into a baker, you can use it to make all sorts of delicious healthy snacks that were once considered junk. Now go and make your life healthier. P.S. Most recipes call for the use of the Vitafiber syrup which is not available in UK HOWEVER mixing water with the powder will give you the syrup for a much cheaper cost. Goes Well With:Water, Oreos, Peanut Butter, Cookie Dough, Chocolate Chips.
This powder is fantastic for mixing with water, heating on stove until it bubbles and adding protein powder, then kneading into a doughy texture and form into protein bars, it is the same ingredient which is used to set quest bars but with less ingredients and no additives or sugar as it is sugar free and v low in calories. I highly recommend it. Goes Well With:Any protein powder or add to unflavoured smoothies, can be used in baking instead of sugar for biscuits or cakes.
I love VitaFiber powder! You can make your own protein bars, protein cookies, protein spread, protein mug cake and many more! Here is the recipe for the simple protein bar 50g VitaFiber powder 15ml water (mix and microwave for 30 seconds) 30g protein powder (shape into bar and freeze for 1 hour) If you microwave the bar for 15 seconds, you'll get yourself a gooey cake (: Goes Well With:water and protein powder
I have been using Vitafiber almost a year now, and I would call it the best alternative to sugar. Can substitute sugar in any recipe, has a natural flavour reminiscent of honey and no weird chemical aftertaste like most artificial sweeteners and has a very positive effect on your gut flora and indigestion health at the same time. A fantastic product that only got better by being available at Myprotein.Goes Well With:anything where you needed sugar before
Great product to uptake your fiber intake, tastes great, mixes well (i use it with impact whey).Goes Well With:Impact whey protein
Great product to easily up fibre intake. Small scoop easily blends into pancakes, porridge, and homemade protein bars.Goes Well With:Peanut butter bars, whey shakes.
Excellent product for the price. Have always eaten healthy for a long time, but realised I was lacking fibre a few times a week. This product mixed well and had a pleasant taste, but I don't use sugars. Take some at breakfast with a whey protein drink. Blends brilliant with the brand I use and doesn't affect the taste. Well worth the price. Going to use in my next batch of health bars I make, along with the raspberry sugar free syrup from here, hopefully will work well Goes Well With:Your morning protien shake
It's great product at great price, I wish they had more than 1 kg packs, as I would buy 2.5 every time. I make protein cookies with it, 50 gr of protein, 70 gr of Vitafiber and 30ml of water, mix and bake for 5 min on medium heat. They are delicious! Goes Well With:As part of protein cookies, as additive to coffee or tea, and as part of protein shakes!
Bought this to make homemade 'Quest style' protein bars. VitaFiber as a power is so much cheaper than having to import the liquid which can be really expensive so MP are offering a great product at an affordable price. Dissolve the VitaFiber in boiled water, give it a mix, add in protein powder of choice and stir. Add in flavour of choice e.g. oreos, dried fruit, chocolate chips etc. Mix all together and put in moulds in freeze for 20-30mins. Easy as that for a tasty treat and good protein hit. Can also use in your oats or shake if you need more fiber or more calories. Recommend.Goes Well With:DIY Cooking. Increasing Fiber/Calories. Being Healthy. Making Gains
I was lacking fibre in my diet and this is a great way to keep it topped up. It's tasteless, so I either put it in my electrolytes drink, cordial or (water mixed) protein shake, twice a day. Easy. It mixes very well and flavourless, so you won't know it's in there! Good value too.Goes Well With:Water, add it to your protein shake, sports drink or juice.
I bought this for my wife who was struggling to get enough fibre in her diet. This product mixes well and has no bad after taste.
Have been tracking my macros for a while now and have never been able to hit my fiber intake on a daily basis. this is a brilliant way of ensuring you do. Could easily be used as a sugar alternative in tea or coffee, as it has zero taste, just sweetens the drinks. I add it to my protein shake to make it more enjoyable when drinking it with water rather than milk. Cant believe I've not added this to my diet sooner!Goes Well With:Protein Shakes, Tea, Coffee, Anything you want to make sweeter
I used this for making protein bars and for making protein cookie dough. Works great.Goes Well With:Whey protein
We bought the 1kg bag and it will last is a good while! We won't be without vitafibre now it's a great product and serves its purpose. We've used it in muffin mix, cookies and also in porridge with no horrible after taste. Defo reccomend! Goes Well With:Muffin Mix
I use this to make my own protein bars / cookies - it works amazingly and means I can have snacks without all the extra rubbish loads of protein bars have :)Goes Well With:Protein powder and water
this stuff is fantastic for making protein bars with, once you mix it with water it is effectively the vitafiber syrup. It basically tastes like icing for cakes, which makes it ideal for baking. Really good for a healthy treat! low calories and high fibre! Goes Well With:Whey protein powder
Vitafiber is a bit sweet and can be used in shakes, baking and in yogurts. The effects of the fiber is not too crazy powerful but definitely noticeable. From going to the WC every 3 days (horrible right?) to almost once everyday, which is in itself worthy of every gram of the product! A highly satisfying product that I could recommend to a friend. Goes Well With:Shakes, baking, yogurts...
This product does exactly what it says on the tin. I am on a low carb diet so don't get too much fibre, apart from veg so this is essential or me. I mix it with my protein shake and mixes well. I'd definitely recommend mixing with flavoured protein as it can be a bit sour. A good product.Goes Well With:Flavoured protein shake
If mixing with a shake, I can't even taste it! Most don't recognise that if you don't take fibre, a large amount of your protein will just pass through. Easy to mix, and very effective. One other review stated it was very sticky... It's fibre, its designed to help absorb what is consumed - this is a good point!
