Horrible new recipe
1Such a shame. These were a really good product, low carb etc but the 'new improved formula' is horrible. Dry, flaky and a really odd aftertaste. Reading other recent reviews I'm not alone in my thinking. The carb value has increased too :-( PLEASE go back to the old recipe then I'll start buying again.

1myprotein Please look at these ratings and reviews from your customers and get back to the original product. These were my favourite bars and the new chocolate flavour tastes like cardboard!!! So dry when they used to be a bit chewy, I will not be buying any if these unless the original receipe is restored, shocking decision to change these

Bring back the old ones!!!
1Really disappointed, ordered these regularly before they changed them. The texture used to be soft and chewy. The new recipe has made them dry, dusty and really salty!! Unfortunately I ordered a box in every flavour. Goes Well With:The bin

New bars Awful!
1I have had these for a couple of years now. Caramel and peanut and the Almond. Just tried the new Caramel and Peanut. Vile tasting.! I can not believe they have altered a once enjoyable protein bar. Not tried the Almond one yet as they was out of stock? If that flavour has gone the same way once I try a box, I won't be buying any more !

Horrendous. Not edible.
1Been having these bars for years. Read the reviews on new recipe and thought ‘it can’t be that bad?!’ They are horrible. Dry. Powdery. Absolutely inedible. That’s 2 boxes gone to waste. I’m not usually fussy but this is clearly some ingredient/recipe error/issue because nobody could test this and think it’s actually fit for human consumptionGoes Well With:The bin

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
1I dont always write reviews, but I feel that I need to. These protein bars used to be the only ones I actually enjoyed eating for the great balance between macros and taste. Now they ruined it. It tastes like cardboard and they f***** up with the macros. Completely destroyed the product. Whoever approved this new formula should never cook even a boiled egg again in his/her life!Goes Well With:The trash can as I wouldn't let even my dog eat this.

Whyyyyy !!!!
1Can’t believe they have changed the recipe of these bars the taste is disgusting! Higher calories fat & doubled the carbs in the bars , the only protein bars I actually liked and couldn’t believe my luck when I found them 2 years ago on how amazing the low sugar and carb content was , won’t be purchasing again ,. My protein sort it out ! Goes Well With:Nothing

Bad development
1Hi, I've had light bars as a staple in my diet for two years and was disappointed to see you had changed the recipe and increased the calories. I wanted to let you know that this change is a bad idea and means I need to look elsewhere for my protein snacks. A really disappointing development. You are gifting customers to Grenade with this move! Couldn't be more disappointed.Goes Well With:Nothing

Horrible - took a great product and ruined it
1I’ve been buying these bars for ages, so just ordered more without looking. It turns out they have changed. The flavour is completely different (and now very salty), the texture is just weird, and the are way worse nutritionally (see others reviews). Hoping I can return the rest I have as I’m hugely disappointed. Goes Well With:The dustbin

Chocolate bar
1I am so disappointed; these were my favourite bars. The new bar tastes like dry, stale biscuit - with increased calories! The only positive is that I will be saving money as I will not be buying any more.
