The best post-workout carb on the market at the best price. I'm quite carb sensitive so I just use 1 scoop (38g) along with one scoop (25g) of whey protein. Roughly 270 cals, 40g carb, 20g protein - take with creatine when cycling. This is all as a post-workout shake when bulking. I wish myprotein would make a simple Whey and Malto pre-mixed shake powder. Would make live easier and it'd be much cheaper than the Recovery XS.Goes Well With:I just have water.
Bought a bag of this when dextrose was out of stock and I love it. I thought dextrose was great, apart from the really sweet taste you get with it, which can be a little too much some days. Can't really tell maltodextrin is mixed in with anything. I added it in to a bit of lucozade sport and mixed with water and I couldn't tell anything was added in, but it gave me loads more energy at the gym and hit a huge PR in deadlift. Does what it says on the tin, or bag, for post-workout.Goes Well With:Milk/Water, whey, juice drinks
Cheap Carbs however if you have a IBD then do not take this as it's proven to put you into remission.Goes Well With:Anyone without Inflammatory bowel disease
Great Maltodextrin at a good price. I use this Maltodextrin with Impact Whey Protein to close a carbohydrate window after the training. And it turns out good and cheaper replacement for weight gainer. As Maltodextrin sickly sweet taste, mixing it with any flavor taste Impact Whey Protein turns normal taste. So I am 100% satisfied with what it gives me to save my money.Goes Well With:Water + Impact Whey Protein
Very good and efficient way to up macros and use with protein as the mix ability is very good, I would recommend this to anybody wishing to gain more weight either in bulking or cutting very good product to use, for carb cycling I would advise this a lot Goes Well With:Creatine monohydrate or impact whey protein
myprotein products is the best on the market i would recommend anyone to use ther products. Good value for money and also taste delicious Goes Well With:water or milk
what can i say,an excellent source of quality carbs,a great addition to protein shakes throughout the day for extra calories.Best works for me half hour before workout with protein shake and another straight after, better workouts and feel fuller in my muscles, good stuff and works well.
I bought this along with some whey protein and dextrose. One scoop of each makes for an excellent weight gainer at a very effective price. Excellent for replenishing the glycogen stores and makes sure the protein is used for rebuilding rather than for energy. Before you go out and buy some expensive cyclone-esque weight gainer, try the combination I did. Will make your post workout shake a million times more effective. Thanks again, excellent product!Goes Well With:Whey protein, dextrose and water.
Ive been using this for only a few days now but the difference in my energy levels when I'm interval running or my Insanity work is amazing. Top marks from me and affordable aswell thanks Myprotein
I found that taking this supplement 30 mins before a workout gives you enough energy for an intense cardio workout. Will defiantly purchase again. Highly recommend to a friend.
This is my Second 5kg Bag - Excellent Stuff for Cycling Just requires 1 Scoop of this with 1/2 Scoop of Fructose, a pinch of sea salt or electrolyte and a bit of juice Why pay a fortune for the same as above (but with other crappy additives!) Mixes Great, tastes ok on its own! And Boy does it Work!Goes Well With:Fructose Sea Salt Electrolyte Fruit Juice
This maltodextrin powder is great. Just two scoops into a large bidon of water topped up with your favorite dilutable fruit drink and its good to go. I also add electrolytes but that just my choice. Much more economical than buying from one of the big brands. Buy the 2.5kg or 5kg bag and it will last for several months. Top marks from me. If you have and empty tub from another sports drinks brand keep it and fill it with this powder.
It does the job. It rises your sugar level up and gets the muscles to work. Don't expect to be HULK after drinking, if you do light workouts. It's very helpful for high intensity exercises. Endurance sports, such as sprinting, heavy lighting, basketball, football. If you are vertical leaper and working at your maximum capacity, this will give you a boost.Goes Well With:With anything you drink. Pre-work out protein shake.
this stuff is great !
the delivery was hopeless due to the driver leaving it in a very odd place. The product seems good though.
Passion and working hard to achieve it is a great way to be successful in life. Supplements plays an important role in achieving our goals. Fitness can only achieve if we make a good diet plan.Being a bodybuilder I experienced alot of change in my muscles. My clients also experiencing a change in their muscles growth.Progressive overload is the key to gain muscles. It helps to gain muscles faster. Now that you are eating enough to give your body 'extra energy' you will need to stress the muscles so that they respond by getting bigger.Your muscles are currently the size they are based on the level of activity you have done in the past, your genetics and your strength. We cannot change your genetics, but we can however change your strength to a degree as well as elicit hypertrophy (muscle building) by weight training. To put it simply, you need to start progressively overloading your body with some form of resistance training. Honestly, do not get too concerned about finding that 'special' program that will be better than all the other programs out there. There are just too many training programs to try and choose 'the best' one.In my experience, they all work! Yes of course some may be better than others but in the end you will get results no matter which program you try as long as you follow the key rules to muscle building. Rely on the foundation and principles instead of the program. In doing so, you will get results no matter which program you are on.Myprotein impact whey protein, is a first port of call for any person weight training and looking maintian or build new muscle. A decent relaible high quality whey concentrate powder, i have been using it for the past 10years now as part of my lean mass gaining phase, i tend to use this in combination with impact whey isolate to provide variation and have a faster releasing protein post workout, this protein also works great as a meal replacement i find when i add in some oats and peanut butter, unflavoured was ok and nice when mixed with some chocolate smooth instant oats and peanut or almond butter in the smooth version. Chocolate brownie is a great flavour though and is close to real brownies for taste, this whey protein mixes easily in water or milk and is nice to consume on a regular basis, choc brownie with some peanut butter makes for a great tasting protein shake that works great for adding in the calories required to support gains in lean muscle mass. I have also tried this whey in the vanilla and some limited edition flavours e.g. such as marzipan and both have been nice and make for a nice change from chocolate based flavours. For my carbs I normally use dextrose as my post workout carb source but have had similar effects from this carb powder, i find that this maltodextrin is equally as effective at restoring depleted glycogen levels and is not sweet tasting like dextrose which means it has minimal effect on adding sweetness or flavour to whatever you add it to. 30-50 grams of this with an equal amount of whey protein and 5 grams of BCAA and 5 grams of creatine is what i find works well to provide more improved recovery from hard workouts and allow for consistent gains in lean muscle mass. if you found any value in this review then please use code: GEOFF - RDT (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters at checkout to get up to 85% off order depending on current offers, thanks and i hope this was of benefit to you :).Goes Well With:water, milk, oats, whey, whey isolate
Myprotein fish oil is a unique flavour for good fats and protein powders in general and works well as a daily protein without becoming sickly, this flavour of whey tastes ok in water but better in some coconut or almond milk, natural vanilla is also another decent flavour that i find to be slightly better than the strawberry and mild if you are after a subtle flavoured protein. Impact whey has worked well to allow for me to add lean muscle mass over the past few months of using it, it works well for both mass gain and dieting fat loss phases but for dieting i usually go for a whey isolate to further reduce calories and keep fat and carb intake as low as possible from protein shakes to allow for consistent fat loss. If you are currently in a lean mass gaining phase this is a great protein to aid in supporting your goals, for further improvements in strength and muscle size i recommend combining this with around 5 grams of creatine monohydrate per day, additional bcaa's also work well to boost energy and endurance and allow for more productive workouts. Dextrose and Peanut Butter combine well with this to allow for more calories to be consumed which can aid in creating a caloric surplus required to bulk and add lean mass. if you found any value in this review then please use code: MOHIT - R4P (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters at checkout to get up to 85% off order depending on current offers, thanks and i hope this was of real value to you
I take 30g of this with my post workout protein shake when in my lean mass phase. Mixes well and although unflavoured it is slightly sweet and really cheap!Goes Well With:Whey protein.
I used this carb for making my own post-workout and sometimes use a little pre-workout for a small energy boost. This product mixes well and defiantly gives my that energy boost post workout that I need, even after LEG day. Not issues with mixing, a fine powder and very high density, not sure the full scoop provided with it gives you 30g, i think its a little more. Goes Well With:Protein/Fruit Smoothies
