I like green tea! I do! I just can't drink the amount of tea dictated by the people who say "You need to drink green tea!" Looking through the products, I thought I'd found the perfect way to encapsulate "green tea to the max" Oh dear god, I thought I'd died and was trying to dig my way out of the earth! It is the most vile flavoured component known to man! I mixed it with water at first, I was gagging after the first swallow. I "manned" up I held my nose and drank without a breath until it was gone! But my legs were so weak I had to hold onto the bench and take some deep breaths! I thought I'm not sure I can handle this again! Yesterday I thought "Kate you can do this!" Reading through the reviews I thought, Ok! try it with juice and add the L tyrosine(?). Whoever said this stuff mixes well with ANYTHING lied! It nearly came up faster than it went down! This stuff should be on the army training course, because let's face it if you can handle this you really are the best! Yesterday I had to lie on the couch looking for all the world like "The Lady of the Camellias" . This powder should be renamed "Terminator Powder" because it will come back on you! I've become one of Pavlov's dogs, I'm looking at that pouch and my insides are churning! For such a small volume of weight there are so many doses in it! I'm just going to try today's dose...............I'm going to be trans gender at the end of the pouch I will have "manned up" so many times! Those who are about to partake salute you! (pssssst go for capsules!))Goes Well With:Haven't found anything yet!
I bought this product with mixed thoughts due to the reviews. First thing I must say is FIND THE SCOOP! It is tiny but it is in there! Then you can't go wrong on the amount. If people are complaining of the taste, they are definitely putting too much in! I put 2 tiny scoops into hot water twice a day, usually morning and evening. Doing it this way it mixes brilliantly and it tastes fine, not strong and nicer to drink than green tea as although I don't mind green tea I'm not a massive fan and this powder means you don't have to drink like 20 cups of green tea. I personally wouldn't mix it with a shake as I can imagine it may taste a bit funky and its easier to mix and drink with hot water as if it was a cup of tea. If you think logically if you are putting green tea with cold milk/water and a flavour its going taste odd, but you never know maybe you won't taste it. Also having it in as a cup of tea gets more fluids in you so i think its a win win alongside the shakes but not mixing them together. Goes Well With:Hot water- just like a cuppa tea :)
I first bought the tablets since I got scared by all the bad taste reviews. Unfortunately I really can't do the tablets as they are huge. So I bought myself two bags of this. Just had my first mug of instant coffee with breakfast where I put 1/4 teaspoon of green tea extract. Absolutely lovely. Actually it tasted like coffee. People must be putting way too much of this in a cup to start with, though to be honest the team is not very clear on how much to add (100mg is seriously hard to measure on a normal kitchen scale!). As for the effectiveness I still do not know, but I'm taking it for the antioxidants so it should be good!Goes Well With:Coffee
I bought this as I read about it that it gives you energy and also helps the metabolism and the digestion. I use it every other day and it does boost the metabolism and helps the digestion. In terms of energy I don't know what to say. It has a really strong taste which reminds a bit of matcha green tea powder and you have to be careful how much you use because I've done the mistake of adding much in my cup that it made me feel sick instantly but then I was fine immediately. Goes Well With:I just dissolve it in water and it tastes quite bitter.
I put a measure of this stuff into my morning cuppa and it kick starts my day. I'm using it for weight loss and it really does give me extra energy without having to drink a full on Green TeaGoes Well With:Tea I've drank green tea before when working in Japan so I know the benefits but I really can't stand the taste of it. Adding a measure into normal tea just makes the tea taste a little stronger
This is a great concentrated form of green tea that makes a great addition and replacement to the regular tablet versions, this is great in that it can be added to protein shakes and smoothies, i find green tea does provide slight benefits in regards to fat loss and also works well due to the antioxidants it includes to boost immune function. If the flavour is a problem it can easily be masked in some strong fruit juice e.g. orange or lemon juice and downed quickly. if you found value in my review then please use my referral code geoff - rdt (no space in between dash and letters) and all in capital letters at checkout for an extra 33% off order. Goes Well With:orange juice lemon or lime juice
The only issue I have with this product is the packaging. When I'm getting the product out of the packet it gets all over my hand. I've had to transfer it into a small tub to make it easier to get to it without make a mess. Goes Well With:I put it with water or juice. Can't really taste it when it's mixed in well.
Don't add too much otherwise you'll taste it Goes Well With:Shakes and porridge
Amazing product helping with weight loss, mix it with diet impact whey either by shaker or blender
My protein supplements provide all necessary nutrition to our body.Proteins are the primary building blocks of the body. They’re used to build tissues like muscle, tendon, organ, and skin, as well as many other molecules vital to life such as hormones, enzymes, and various brain chemicals.Proteins are comprised of smaller molecules known as amino acids, which are linked together in a long chain that can be molded into different shapes. Our body can produce twelve of the amino acids needed to form protein molecules, but it must get nine others from protein in the food we eat. The former are known as nonessential amino acids and the latter essential amino acids. Use referral code for good deals. Thanks.
Just had my delivery of Green Tea Extract - couldn't find the scoop at first as it is so tiny (but cute!) When I eventually found the scoop I used 1 scoop in my milky coffee - it tastes fantastic! It just seems the right amount for me. I make my coffee with Unsweetened Roasted Almond Milk and blend it with Douwe Egberts Instant coffee granules as well as the Green Tea Extract powder - it blends and dissolves well. I will definitely be buying this product again. MyProtein never fail to deliver on their products. I but a lot of items from this company and I am always pleased with the fast delivery and the quality of their products. I especially love the Pineapple & Mixed Berry protein water as well as the protein crisps. AWESOME!!Goes Well With:Unsweetened Roasted Almond Milk - blended with instant coffee
May be effective if taken regularly, absolutely disgusting taste even when mixed with a cordial and water
This is very strong so I found a quarter of the supplied tiny scoop was all that's needed. Goes Well With:Hot water
Quality and taste is poor enough never try again
Pretty good, tastes vile by itself or with cranberry juiceGoes Well With:Orange juice
I bought this green tea powder for a quick fix in the morning instead of coffeeGoes Well With:Hydrolised collagen protien
The problem with the product is the packaging, when it arrived the press shut part of the bag had opened allowing the powder into the part which rips off. when you get a scoop the powder from the bag it sticks all over my hand. The tea it's self is great, flavour is good and it doesn't over shakes. Goes Well With:I have mine with skimmed milk and bananas
I have found that this product mixes reasonably well and the taste blends quite easily with other drinks e.g. other flavoured teas / protein powders. The main issue I have had with the product is getting it out of the pack without making a mess and measuring it accurately. I have found it can be a bit fiddly with the small scoop and the size of pack often results in my fingers or hand getting coated in the powder. Goes Well With:Tea / Protein powders
This product definately helps to reduce my appetite, however can be a little bitter tasting if too much is added to the water
Wonderful green tea extract that gets you powered troughout the day. Tastes like the strongest chinese green tea. Watchout not to take it before bedtime or you could easily count the stars deep in to the night. Goes Well With:warm water, juice
