Too much Selenium - warning to all buyers

I've been taking these vits for just over 2 months. Although I feel healthy and glad that I'm getting all of the vitamins & minerals, I spotted some very faint lines across my nails. I knew that nails are a strong indicator of health issues and did some research. I have discovered that these faint lines are the start of what Mees Lines look like, which is a symptom for essentially, heavy metal poisoning. With some more research I found that Mees Lines could be the cause from too much Selenium in my diet. These vits contain 91% of my daily intake of Selenium. I also have a balance diet of dairy, meat, fruit and veg which Selenium is already very bioavailable.  I wanted to write this review to let as many people know as possible. Many women cover their nails with gels/ nail polish and may not spot the signs for this early enough, until it may be too late.  I plan to stop taking the vits as a process of elimination.

wow okay

So I've been taking these for quite a while to support my immune system in the exam time and to strengthen my nails. Although my nails did not really change, after a while I noticed my hair had grown quite long in a very short time. This also did a good job in keeping me healthy and maintaining my energy levels in the exam time. Did a full blood-test recently and my iron levels have also improved. Overall a good product and will continue using it.

Good product

I've been using this vitamins for 2 months now. I bought them because I was getting bruised every time I went to the gym, just with the gentlest touch of the barbell. I thought it could be for lack of vitamin K so I started taking these pills, also because they cover all the vitaminic groups and seem very complete. It took three or four weeks to kick in but the difference is clear. No more bruises and I feel like I have more energy, also my nails seem to grow faster and stronger although I don't feel any difference in my hair (but it has always grown really quickly anyway). So overall a very good product. I'd recommend it.

Great Multivitamin

I've been using these vitamins for a little over a week now. I do think that I have more energy as a result of taking the vitamins twice a day. Although I normally eat a healthy diet, I have been restricting my calories lately to cut out some weight for summer. I feel like these vitamins help make up for any vitamins that I lack in my diet. My only issue is that there is a surplus of Riboflavin. Since the body can't absorb that much, you end up peeing the excess out. Which turns your pee neon yellow and is just a bit of a waste of money. Despite that, I do still recommend these and think I will incorporate them into my normal diet as well.

Great Multivitamin

I've been using this product for months and really I can feel its effectiveness. It's helping me to cope with the tiredness after intense workout and the cold of the winter. I'm feeling more energetic and present in my daily life. Good stuff, highly recommended!

Ideal

Read lots of reviews about the taste - I cannot taste a thing! Just swallow with water and don't have taste! Nice small size compared to my usual tablets, I am converted to these

Too much B12 for daily use

The nutritional information on the packaging they do not match up with the website. For Vitamin B12 on your website it shows that one tablet is 104% of your RI which is perfectly fine. Whereas on the packaging it is actually 10400% off your daily RI. This number is extremely high to be taking everyday for a healthy individual, would only recommended to have these 3 times a week. Everything else seems to be fine.

Cheap and effective

This multivitamin is a great (and super cheap) way to hit all your vitamins and micronutrients targets, particularly indicated now during the quarantine! The capsules don't have any taste and they aren't too big either, definitely very easy to swallow (that's what she said).

Be careful

I wish I had took more notice at the nutrient percentages. Be very careful ladies! I think it is a good supplement in general, I did notice an increase in energy at the beginning. HOWEVER, please look at the B12 and Biotin quantities. Two tablets per day provide more than 20 000% of B12. I believe this and the amount of Biotin (and B5 is not included!) has caused me such terrible acne I have never had in my life! It took me 6 MONTHS OF TERRIBLE SKIN to figure out the problem... The worst experience and anxiety I had for such a long time was sorted out just by stopping taking these. I'm glad it's over! Here's a scientific article about how large quantities of B12 change the skin: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26109103 As far as I understand it, the reason B12 can cause acne is that it causes changes to the normal bacteria that lives on everyone's skin. It makes acne causing microbes more active, and acne preventing ones less active. Basically it unbalances the healthy bacteria (it changes their gene expression) on your skin, and they start causing inflammation, resulting in acne. One of the roles of vitamin b12 in the body is making DNA, and it is used for the metabolism of every single cell in our bodies. This is why it has the ability to change the gene expression and metabolism of the bacteria on your face.

Does the job

I use this alongside calcium, vitamin d3 and omega 3 fish oil and it helps. Definite improvement in my energy levels and I can focus on hitting macros and fiber whilst knowing this has taken care of my micros.
