Inulin Info
The product is good and can be mixed with most things. I find that there are very few instruction either on or inside the pack. How many times a day is it supposed to be taken (once, twice or doesn't matter) this guidance is important to those who are using the product for the first time.

Having watched the programme on the benefits of inulin, I researched some more and thought i'd give it a try. I have been suffering from bowel pains due to operation scarring inside and permanently bloated stomach for over 12 years. I started taking 1 level scoop of inulin mixed with one heaped dessert spoon of milled flaxseed in water once a day and I bought a bottle of Pepto Bismal and drank a measurement of that in a morning and evening for 2 weeks ( needed to buy another bottle! ) I just had the inulin and flaxseed after that. At first I had a lot of wind and bowel movements but I persevered and within about 2 months my stomach is flat at long last, I am finally pain free and my waist as shrank significantly. I have been taking this for about 6 months now, though only have one scoop of inulin every other day and I feel so much better. I am aware that some trials say they don't know the long term affects but I do not take any medication, am pain free, slim and very active and feel I have finally got quality of life back instead of constant discomfort, plus I am told often that I look well. I would advise anyone to research then do what feels best for you. The recommended dose is one and a half scoops, the scoop is hidden inside the pouch, I found mine when I was halfway through the first pouch! I just chose to take one scoop.

Report this reviewExcellent service
Great service guys. Very impressed with the delivery time, quality of packaging etc. Started using Inulin immediately - very easy to use - I just added it to my bowl of breakfast oats. In case you haven't seen the programme with Dr Chris van Tuleken and Angela Rippon (How to stay young), Inulin reportedly helps break down visceral fat if used consistently over a period of about six months. Well worth a try.Goes Well With:Basic porridge made with oats and milk.
Report this reviewGreat Product.
Last time i went on a calorie controlled diet/meal replacement diet i struggled with my bowel movement for days at a time. That was inclusive of having 28g of flaxseed a day. I have now introduced inulin into my diet and my bowel movements are somewhat regular without the constipated/painful feel. This product mixes very well even in water like others have said; i would definitely be buying this agian. thank you myprotein :)Goes Well With:anything liquid

I was recommended this for my three year old autistic son and with in three to four weeks we could see a difference in his digestive system he has been on it now for over a year and the improvement in his autism is amazing even the doctors can not believe how much he has improved
Report this reviewIt works
This is very mixable, you don't need a lot of it, in fact even the small scoop suggested once a day can be a sudden change to the body, any rises in fibre can give gas until the body is used to it. Saying that it does actually work as it's meant to, so I would suggest it for anyone that eats a lot or finds it harder to break down protein and carbs, but maybe start with a tiny bit and work your way up.Goes Well With:protein, oats, glutamine, juice
