

Craig Sale
Researcher in Exercise & Nutritional PhysiologyCraig Sale was appointed Professor of Human Physiology at Nottingham Trent University in 2015, where he was also Director of the Sport, Health and Performance Enhancement (SHAPE) Research Centre.
He moved to his current role as Professor of Human Physiology and Nutrition and Deputy Director and Head of Research of the Institute of Sport at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2022.
Craig has an international research standing in the area of exercise and nutritional physiology, particularly focusing upon how exercise and nutrition can modulate adaptations in bone and muscle.
He is also a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and Editor-in-Chief or The Journal of Nutritional Physiology (JNP).
