We caught up with Joefazer for the latest installment of Light Heavyweight, the series where our ambassador decides the question – light or heavy.

Light questions can range from most embarrassing moments – we've all been there, to favorite cheat meals. Whereas heavy questions can range from what you’d like to be remembered for, to biggest career achievements.

What’s the most embarrassing song on your workout playlist?

Joe simply says, “there’s too many”, he claims he listens to too much Katy Perry, but for his most embarrassing song he settles for ‘Party In The U.S.A’ by Miley Cyrus. It’s certainly not what we were expecting.

What’s the most ridiculous/unnecessary thing you’ve spent money on?

Brace yourself for this one... Joe spent £2000 on an activity at the fair, the activity includes hanging from a bar for 100 seconds and if you succeed you will win £100. He just couldn’t face not being able to do it.

He also bought a realistic silicone muscle suit... for £600. And we thought we were bad.

What’s the best and worst thing about the fitness industry?

Joe opted for a heavier question here to reflect on the fitness industry.

“There is a bittersweet part to the fitness industry, which is people post themselves looking amazing. On the one hand, it’s amazing to see these ripped guys, because it motivates you more to work out and improve your diet. However, on the other hand, you see these super ripped guys which makes you feel demotivated about the progress you’ve made. It’s weird but it is the best and worst part.”

Take Home Message

It’s safe to say we learnt a fair few things that we didn’t already know about Joefazer in this interview, his love for Pizza Express dough balls being just one of them – but you’ll have to watch the video to find out about that one.

But as a huge fan of carbs, if it’s not pasta or pasta-adjacent, she’s not interested. If she’s not in the kitchen, she’s tucked up with a book for an early night, or you’ll find her in the gym working up a sweat. Afterall, all those carbs require quite the appetite.
