Delicious

5 out of 5 stars

I have an ice cream maker and always experiment making my own. This is just delicious though. I've used 2 scoops instead of 3 to lower calories a bit and still delicious. I tried one scoop but it goes too icy. The flavour is soooo nice. I'll definitely buy this flavour again. Mmmm

The Best Ice Cream

5 out of 5 stars

The best ice cream I have ever tasted! Love the salted caramel flavour it's like heaven on earth. You can use this in replace of a protein shake or after a meal as a treat. It also goes great with pancakes and waffles. I would recommend adding the protein wafers to the ice cream and letting the ice cream freeze for roughly an hour in freezer, I always add ice to the mix when it's in the blender as it freezes faster. Would highly recommend if you haven't already bought, and enjoy! Goes Well With: Pancakes, waffles, wafers

Salted Caramel Goodness

5 out of 5 stars

The salted caramel flavour is delicious. I've tried it both as an ice cream and as a protein shake mixed with ice cold water / milk and it has now replaced my regular shakes. If you use it as a shake / smoothie then you would need to add a bit more liquid than for the ice cream and you can also add your own regular ingredients to taste (banana, oats, etc.). Goes Well With: Anyone with functioning taste buds..

Awesome

5 out of 5 stars

This and the Salted caramel flavour are awesome. Don't worry about the small amount of water suggested, it really does mix perfectly in a normal shaker, you do need to give it a bit of a longer shake though. Definitely need to go back and check on it and give it a stir as the instructions state. Tastes really really good and the macros are great. Highly recommended this. Goes Well With: My syrup Pancakes Brownies Cookies

We all Scream for Ice Cream

5 out of 5 stars

Well my evening treat just go better. no longer will i mix BCAAs with crushed ice i the eternal effort to cram as much gainy goodness into my body. 34g per serving, lets be honest nobody is ever going to have just 1 serving. I've had to give up actual protein shakes as my intake has gone through the roof. Its even worth the semi permanent brain freeze that now keeps me up at night. all in the name of progress Goes Well With: Protein Waffers

Great product terrible instructions

4 out of 5 stars

Come on MyProtein, sort your instructions out, neither the website or packaging are correct and vastly different. My review is of the salted caramel When you can finally figure out the right ratios the product actually tastes pretty decent. After numerous trial and error attempts I recommend a 1:2 ratio so say 50g scoop to 100ml water (1x large portion) and so on. Going with a 1:1 ratio as per website creates an extremely sweet gooey ice cream that is a nightmare to mix in a shaker. Then the directions on the packet make a very icy tasting product that freezes too hard and tastes more like an ice lolly. I recommend freezing in individual containers so you can defrost them for 30 seconds in the microwave before consuming as it tends to freeze harder than normal ice cream. Other than that a great tasting treat, just be careful of the fat macros! Goes Well With: Protein Jelly

Surprisingly tasty!

4 out of 5 stars

An actual real life alternative to icecream that tastes really good. Instructions are a bit rubbish. 60g is fine. 2 scoops is too much. Don't try putting it into an icecream maker. Because it uses water it will just gum it up. For best results mix with a protein shaker, put in a bowl and stick in the freezer. Don't bother taking it out and stirring! That's pointless! Just take i tout 5 minutes before you want to eat it and that seems to work well. Great hit of protein, low cal, low fat tastes really good.

Bad instructions

3 out of 5 stars

Review is for the Salted Caramel flavour. Using electric whisk mixed 100g powder with 100ml water, using 50/50 ratio as suggested on the website. No lumps or problems mixing. Put mixture into ice cream machine. Mixture became too gloopy and stopped the motor before it froze. Decanted half frozen mixture into a plastic box and put in freezer for 2 hours. Mixture froze hard solid. Mouthfeel was very rich but not refreshing so nothing like ice cream - more like a frozen pudding mix. Taste at the 50/50 ratio quite good and I didn't find it too sweet and it was very creamy. But if you keep it at this ratio your ice cream maker will not have the power to freeze it. Next time I will use extra water but I have a feeling it may dilute the flavour. If you were to use the instructions on the packet it would make the mixture too icy and tasteless.

Far too sweet

1 out of 5 stars

I was really looking forward to this based on the previous reviews but I was very disappointed. It's far too sweet and the consistency is nothing like icecream. The instructions are confusing - on the website it says mix 50g with 50ml of water. On the packaging it says mix 60g (3 scoops) with 210ml of water. Not only is that vastly different to what's on the website, you actually need to weigh the powder as 3 scoops is about 75g. Once again let down by MyProtein with their inaccurate nutritional information/instructions
