Haven't been using this long. However my recovery has been great whilst using the protein. After couple weeks I'm starting to feel and get stronger so must be working, as I say it's still early days. I mix it in with casein which does leave a chalky taste. The protein by its self is awesome, I put couple tea spoons of nesquick milkshake powder in and milk to mix it up, the flavour is brilliant. I couldn't drink this supplement plain. Goes Well With: Milk and nesquick milkshake powder.

Brilliant for recovery
I only started taking Casein protein 6 months ago, with this being only my second brand I've tried. I've found that it is perfect before bed to help counter that morning hunger by providing your body with a slow releasing protein through the night. This in turn supports muscle growth and general recovery. By adding it to a good diet and training routine you'll feel the benefits of this in no time! The only issue I have is that it only comes in unflavoured making it difficult to take by itself. To add some flavour I add 'My Protein' flavour drops to it, in particular banana or strawberry, to tackle the blandness. I'd also recommend taking it with skimmed milk, as opposed to water, as it only contributes to the lack of flavour. Casein protein also has a gritty texture once mixed, but this just takes a little bit of time to overcome, and is standard across all brands. Overall I'd give this product 9/10, as it does what it's meant to. My only mark for improvement would be to introduce flavoured packets in the future. Goes Well With: Skimmed Milk. Protein shaker with mixer ball.

I've been using this since February. I'm a middle distance runner and struggle with consuming enough protein. Using this has meant my protein intake is far higher than its ever been and my intake of carbohydrates has dropped. I have lost bodyfat, recover after sessions much more quickly and have done 3 pb times at 5km one pb at 3km and one at mile in this time. I'm convinced that I will pb in my first 800m race this year which is coming up soon. Overall excellent. Taste is a bit bland but with these results I'm not bothered about that.

Can't argue with the results!
The is an excellent product Ideal if you work out late evenings, and want something that breaks down slowly over night, then this product is perfect I've been using it for 2 weeks and I've noticed a serious difference already. It's hard to take with water for my advice is to get some flavoured milkshake (I use banana) and it goes down a treat. Will definitely order more, great product! Goes Well With: Banana milk shake (Any flavour really)

Great Stuff but it tastes incredibly disgusting
It is effective and it works but everytime I drink it, I am almost sick from the taste - like chalky almost! Then again if you want to look really good, it is like the saying goes "No Pain, No Gain!" Goes Well With: Flax Seeds
