Overview

Total Milk & Whey combines Milk Protein Concentrate and Whey Protein Isolate to provide one fantastic blend ideal for consumption in-between meals or before bed.

Using the highest quality cold processed sources of slow and fast absorbing protein sources, Milk Protein and Whey Isolate respectively, providing the ideal protein blend for fast and slow protein release. The slow release action of the Milk Protein provides a prolonged source of amino acids to inhibit tissue breakdown, whilst the fast release action of the Whey Isolate promotes lean growth through its instant supply of amino acids. Blending these two fantastic protein sources provides a superior amino acid profile and ensures you have an ideal supply of nutrients for both recovery and growth.

With over 86 grams of protein per 100 grams, Total Milk & Whey is very high in protein and very low in carbohydrates and fat. The ratio of Milk Protein and Whey Isolate has been standardised to 60:40, respectively, so you know exactly how much of each protein source you receive per serving. Both protein sources are renowned for their great taste and instant mixing making Total Milk & Whey a pleasurable, fantastic value and nutritionally beneficial sports supplement.

Started using this after a lengthy spell without using any protein product. I found that it mixes ok it goes a little frothy in the shaker but you can still drink it fine regardless. I had the Strawberry and Cream flavour which tasted great. As for results i am very happy with what i achieved whilst using this product. I have now started on the impact whey isolate to continue with lean mass development.

Mixes fine. a bit of a powdery tast but that is to be expected with the milk protein. Chocolate flavour could do with a touch more cocoa powder.

Previously I had just been using Impact Whey which mixed great and worked fine. I decided to purchase Total Milk and Whey for my next batch and I find it just isn't as good in mix-ability and taste, even with shaking for a good 5 minutes it remains gritty in texture. I am yet to notice the effects but I'm sure it will be similar to Impact Whey but better with the addition of the slow release Milk protein. Of course, the protein source is more important than taste, but next time I shall go back to Impact Whey.

I have been impressed with this product, have the vanilla. Taste is pretty good, best with milk imo. Does foam a bit with shaking but settles fairly quick and don't loose any of the shake.

Although I am a myprotein fan and am quite impressed with their product range this one was not quite up to the standards at least in the taste department. I just got myself the strawberry cream flavour and is not so good and the worst part is the foam, more than half of my shaker was foam when i mixed it with a decent amount of water, if i added less water it would not mix properly. I wouldn't doubt the effectiveness though!

Foams if you add to much water. I mixed it with 200-250ml of cold water which solved the foaming. It makes it a bit thicker but a nice flavour and consistency (vanilla) Used it with CEE and Green Tea Extract, trained hard and lost 15kg fat. All thanks to this. Highly recommend. Now I'm on Hurricane.

Previous batches have been more granular; easier to scoop and mix. The last batch was much more finely ground and whilst it does mix ok in a shaker it is prone to cake a bit and harder to scoop - please go back to the original form...
  • Goes well with which Myprotein products:
    Skimmed milk

This is one of the better protein supplements i've tried, mixes easily and tasted very good. My only fault with this was the balance of milk to whey proteins. I would have preferred more whey to milk, however I had half a tub of whey protein purchased from a local supps store and added a scoop of that to my portion of milk & whey after each workout and I really felt the difference.

For the first time ever i decided to go with another flavour rather than Vanilla and i chose smooth Chocolate. A good choice!! The chocolate flavour is pretty damn good. Its taken me a few trials to get the right water/powder ratio to get the best taste and i'm currently at 2 scoops & fill water to just over the 300ml line. Shake and enjoy. Not a huge amount of liquid after a workout but just enough to keep the shake tasty and not too runny. Also a small tsp of caster sugar (Carbs!) really gives it a nice sweet taste. Mixes brilliantly, tastes, great, and great value.

Does what it says on the ti...bag. Being a big guy I need a big protein hit each day and this was my std protein supply each day, without breaking the bank.

I read few a number of existing reviews and noticed people commenting on 'foaming'. I really found no foaming issues that were different from using Hurricane XS, Total Impact, True Whey etc... I think its just when you mix any protein shake with milk, shake it, it will foam, as expected. Total Milk and Whey has been good so far. No bloating. And best of all high protein content, so don't have to use as many scoops - although I still do. More protein for your £££.

I have used this in vanilla and its a solid product. Little dissapointed as it seems the ingredients have changed (whey iso to whey concentrate, milk protein iso to milk concentrate) but price has remained the same - overall though love myprotein and quality is undoubted

Again MP - honesty appreciated in a world of smoke and mirrors to confuse people into thinking they need certain supplements.\nTaste - fine - nice strawberry.\nTexture - slightly grainy but to be expected.\nAfters - gut takes a bit to accept it - but more is not better.\nPrice - Excellent\nDelivery - Excellent

Ok, now i can honestly say the stuff works well. After all you're getting a quick fix and a slow release protein all in one. But the stuff is absolute vile. Take my word for it, pay the extra few quid and get the MP Max range Total Protein much much better stuff

I ordered unflavoured and in the past I have had samples of chocolate and vanilla. I mixed the flavoured versions with milk and ultra fine oats and it tasted great. I use the unflavoured one (I only use unflavoured powders now - no digestion issues or wind) at random times in the day when i feel the need to boost my protein intake.

As Total Protein XS (choc mint) was out of stock, i bought this, to mix with egg white powder. On its own, this tastes foul, with an overpowering mint taste, like a bad mouthwash. Adding the egg white actually dulls this. Supriseing, as every other flavour, of every different protein product from MP has always been superb. Dont know if this was from a bad batch.

just recieved today and first impressions are that the strawberry is quite nice, certainly not the worst, but the texture is certainly..fluffy. by this i mean its kind of a powdery, bitty feel in your mouth but nothing too bad. just a shock after changing from whey blend.

Can't really rate this at the moment as ive only been taking this for two days. I agree it does have a "fluffy" taste to it, and its not a very nice tasting shake, but hopefully that means the results will be better

In terms of taste, this product is fairly standard for a shake, pallatable, but not what you would call nice. The MP Max shakes are the only ones I've ever had that you would actually drink for anything other than purely nutrition. It mixes really well and even when blending with a fork I've had no problems.\n\nHowever I have had 60g of this 3 times and it has resulted in stomach cramps and nastier side effects, so I've got a couple of kilos going if anyone wants it!

A cheaper version of bedtime extreme I suppose, although I take it at any time. Taste is good, although the milk protein makes the shake a little 'fluffy' tasting. This is obviously an indication of the levels of high quality ingredients though. Good stuff.
