Whey Forward Isolate is not your average protein. It’s a step into the future of sports nutrition.

Let’s explore what Whey Forward is, how it’s made, and why it’s a truly forward-thinking protein.

Oh, and of course you’ll be introduced to Whey Forward Isolate’s incredible flavour options.

What is Whey Forward Isolate?

A forward-thinking premium protein powder, Whey Forward Isolate is packed with 21g of protein per serving. It’s the everyday protein you need, powered by market-leading innovation.

Creamy and smooth, Whey Forward Isolate delivers all the benefits of your usual whey protein. With a choice of decadent Chocolate and velvety Strawberry & Cream discover a new way forward that's truly delicious.

Why Whey Forward Isolate is the future of protein

Whey Forward has all the benefits of regular whey protein, but without using as much water or emitting as many carbon emissions as regular dairy protein.

Compared to a standard dairy whey protein Whey Forward Isolate uses on average 97% less water and emits 94% fewer carbon emissions.

So if you’re looking to build, sustain and repair muscle fibres, while reducing your impact on the planet, Whey Forward Isolate is the one.

How Is Whey Forward Isolate Made?

An innovation produced through fermentation rather than traditional dairy farming, Whey Forward Isolate is an animal-free whey protein.

The heroes at the centre of this process are microflora. These microorganisms are incredibly productive and when given the right DNA blueprint to work from produce a dairy-identical whey without any animals required.

The microflora are placed in a tank with a mixture of water, sugar and nutrients to support fermentation.

After the mixture has fermented, the protein is separated from the microflora, filtered, purified, and dried. Then it’s off to one of Myprotein’s production facilities to be mixed into its final form and tubbed up as Whey Forward Isolate.

Whey Forward Isolate Nutritional Information

Inside each tub of Whey Forward Isolate is 500g of forward-thinking support for your muscle.

One 25g scoop delivers 21g of protein for just 99kcal, and you get all nine essential amino acids. These are the amino acids you can get only from your diet and are histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine.

An ongoing study with our research partners at the University of Birmingham has indicated that Whey Forward protein is functionally equivalent to traditional whey, and more research is on the horizon.

What’s the difference between Whey Forward and Impact Whey Isolate?

When it comes to quality, there’s basically no separating Impact Whey Isolate and Whey Forward Isolate.

A serving of either is one 25g scoop, and they both contain a minimum of 20g protein per serving.

Impact Whey Isolate is renowned for its purity, an extra round of meticulous filtering. But rest assured, the filtering and purification of whey for Whey Forward is also to the highest of standards.

The real difference is essentially the source of whey. Impact Whey Isolate uses whey produced by traditional dairy farming, and Whey Forward does not.

Whey Forward uses an innovative process of fermentation with microflora to create a dairy-identical but animal-free whey, which has a side benefit of using less water and producing less carbon emissions.

Whey Forward Isolate Flavours

Whey Forward Isolate comes in two delicious flavours: Chocolate, and Strawberry & Cream.

You can mix with water, milk or a milk alternative. Pro tip, to really get the classic creaminess of a whey protein shake, try with milk or a milk alternative.

However, if you are being a bit more cautious around calories, and are supporting your body through a sustainable calorie deficit, water works great.

Take Home Message

The future of protein has arrived, and it’s Whey Forward Isolate.

The macros are strong with this protein. There's 21g of protein per serving, 99kcal, all nine essential amino acids, and it comes in two delicious flavours — Strawberry & Cream, or Chocolate.

Plus, from research undertaken by our research partners at the University of Birmingham there's evidence Whey Forward protein is functionally equivalent to traditional whey.

This innovative, dairy-identical, animal-free protein is made using natural organisms called microflora.

Microflora are given the blueprint of a DNA sequence to produce whey protein through fermentation — like how beer is made — before being filtered, purified, dried, and then mixed into Whey Forward Isolate.
