I now have 6 of these flavours, and I'd reccommend them to anyone. First started out with the typical 3, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. Vanilla is a classic and I put it in loads of things, mug cakes, oats, and baking to subsidise sugar. Strawberry is gorgeous and mixed with my unflavoured protein it tastes exactly like a Yazoo. The chocolate is probably my least favourite, just because it doesn't really taste of chocolate more just like a sickly sweeter version of vanilla with a hint of fake chocolate. I then got the toffee, raspberry and banana. The toffee is gorgeous, makes the best banoffee oats with it, and the raspberry I thought would be similar to strawberry is actually a bit more tangy, exactly like a raspberry is in real life. The banana is a bit lacking, but still very drinkable. They mix extremely well and I'd reccommend it to anyone thinking of buying, gives you loads more choice when deciding what protein shake flavour to have rather than being committed to 5kg of one flavour! All in all a great product that myprotein does, and although the bottles are small because the liquid is so concentrated you do only need a few drops to get the flavour.
Got the toffee flavour and I love it! The taste is a bit artificial when tasted for the first time, but I got used to it. I put it to my morning porridge and it's definitely like thousand times better. Cant wait to try another flavours! I am just disappointed that strawberry and raspberry ones contain carmine, so it is not suitable for veg people.
Previously had Toffee which was amazing. I thought I'll try peanut butter. Huge mistake. It's absolutely horrible. Smells like hospital ward. Had to throw it in the bin. :(Goes Well With:The Bin
I have tried the Toffee, Strawberry, White Chocolate, Maple, Raspberry and Vanilla flavours - and that's also the order I would rank them in terms of flavour. As many reviewers have said, Toffee is amazing. It has a really true flavour with very little aftertaste - I use it in: - Skyr/Fage Total yoghurt. REALLY brings out the creaminess . - Loads of Protein Pow recipes such as the peanut butter cheesecake, YUM. - In coffee, 11 drops instead of granulated sweetener, for that Starbucks syrup taste. - Myprotein unflavoured whey, with a bit of milk and baking soda, chucked in the microwave. GORGEOUS I've bought some for my friend because I love it so much! The Strawberry is pretty much on-par with toffee, beautiful with yoghurt, tastes exactly like the ones you'd buy in the supermarket. White Chocolate is gorgeous too - I'd maybe knock off a few % because it's not as 'flavoursome' as the first two - it is very sweet but a bit subtler with the white chocolate flavour. Maple is delicious, and a close replacement for Toffee if you run out (which I did). The 'mapleness' is noticeable and goes amazingly with cinnamon. It's almost on-par with the others. Raspberry is nice, it tastes identical in yoghurt to typical supermarket ones, meaning it's got a slight bitter tang to it, not as purely sweet as Strawberry. But it has its place - you can put a drop or two into cloudy lemonade for example! Finally, Vanilla is ok, it's a lot more bland than the others for me, and maybe has a bit of an aftertaste. It's definitely not equatable to vanilla essence or extract, it just tastes 'sweet'. I wouldn't buy this again.Goes Well With:Skyr, Fage Total yoghurt, coffee, unflavoured Impact Whey Isolate, Milk, all manner of cakes, biscuits etc, cheesecake, fizzy drinks, etc etc.
Literally the best invention since sliced bread, deep into a recomposition phase of my training which mean calorie restriction and these bad boys are seeing me right through!!! Can't recommend the peanut butter flavour enough❤️❤️❤️... Seriously stop reading reviews and buy now, you won't be sorryGoes Well With:0% Greek yoghurt
I have about 5 powder flavourings and 6 or 7 of the drops. I prefer the drops as they are less sweet than the powders although the powders are probably better value for money although the drops are not exactly expensive. My favourite of the drops so far are the toffee (fool proof in anything) Strawberry and maple syrup so far, Vanilla is ok although I find it a bit boring (personal taste) the ones I find a bit disappointing are the banana as its got that kind of sharp un-natural flavour, and I find the peanut butter one just totally rank, tried it once and it'll be getting binned I think. My favourite of the powders are the Latte, I love the Rubarb and Custard too but it does have a nasty aftertaste. My Protein definitely has the most vast options in flavours in the drops and powders and when I am trying to lose weight I just mix them with coconut milk and a bit of Xanthan Gum and Konjac, a sweet snack for next to no calories. On a different note....I am so happy to see My Protein is starting to make more things with Stevia and hopefully this will be used in more of their products soon!
So the actual taste of the flavdrops was NOTHING like peanut butter which really really disappointed me however it definitely does flavour things very well (whatever the taste may be.. because it defo isn’t pb!) and it does mix well - hoping to try some different flavours as it may just be this flavour that's a dud. Overall, it is a good product, just maybe not a good flavour. It also smelt quite chemically as well which again, could be the flavour more than anything.
tried 3 flavours now, toffee, maple and stevia apple. Toffee is definitely the nicest, maple and apple are ok, just not as flavorsome as the toffee.Goes Well With:porridge, yogurt, protein shakes
Just ordered in strawberry flavour, and it tastes amazing, I could smell it all day. I mix it with everything, great with yogurt or unflavoured protein powders. I will definitely order some more.Goes Well With:yoghurt, protein powder
My personal trainer told me about Flav Drops and suggested I give them a try as I have a terrible sweet tooth and am struggling to lose those last few pounds. I sent off for Toffee, Maple Syrup and Mocha. They arrived very quickly and I couldn't wait to try some out in Greek Yogurt. I put just 4 drops into a good 3 tablespoons of fat free plain yogurt and took a tentative taste - delicious! Tried out the other two at once and, yep, both scrummy! I'm delighted. It will be perfect in porridge and loads of other otherwise boring sensible food. I'm really thrilled. A great product, reasonably priced, rapidly despatched and totally delicious!Goes Well With:Porridge, plain yogurt, milk (hot or cold) and no doubt zillions of other things I have not yet had a chance to try!
I love everything about this product - for me the maple syrup flavour is true and mixes well in my unflavoured protein/ black coffee - I find all the other protein flavours way too sweet and this allows some control over how empowering the taste it - the only reason I have dropped a star on the review is I am very conscious of my food/supplements being natural and organic and this doesn't feel like a very natural product just because it's manufactured etc other than that I would highly recommend it!! Goes Well With:Deadlifts
i recently bought an unflavoured whey protein, i was not keen on the taste that it gave. I looked up on how to make it tastier and i found this! The FlavDrops are amazing! I bought the Strawberry one which tastes outstanding. I am very pleased that this kind of products exists! The smell and taste that the FlavDrop gives is incredible. Would recommend 10/10. Well worth the price. Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein (Unflavoured) Instant Oats (Unflavoured)
Not impressed with chocolate. Vanilla more like sweetner. Toffee...lush! :-)
Not impressed with chocolate, vanilla more like sweetner. Toffee...lush! :-)
I have a HUGE sweet tooth, I used to use honey as a 'healthy' alternative which did work really well in most things! However, it wasn't the greatest mixer (especially in drinks) so I came across these flavour drop which work wonders. They mix in practically EVERYTHING, porridge, hot chocolate, cakes, yoghurt (best one), milk (tastes just as good as milkshake but not nearly as many calories). Best thing ever is toffee yoghurt. Just add a couple of drops(about 7) into some FF yoghurt (200g) and it tastes just as good as the high calorie naughty stuff. Will definitely be buying these again!!Goes Well With:Yoghurt, Porridge, Cottage Cheese, Ice Cream, Milk, Hot beverages
Great product, the strawberry and toffee drops are immense. A few drop make unflavoured shakes a delight.
These drops are amazing with yoghurt. My PT put an eating plan together for me, which included 0% natural yoghurt (fage brand). It's almost sour, so he told me about these drops. I decided to buy some and give it a go and they're absolutely brilliant. They have completely transformed my yoghurt. It's exactly like eating strawberry yoghurt. I add about 6 drops to the tub (170ml), which is perfect. Really tastes very good. I also bought the toffee flavour for my porridge in the morning. I really like the flavour, but the taste the sweetener quite strongly, which isn't brilliant. I now add some banana and cinnamon to the porridge with the toffee drops, which seems to have taken the artificial sweetener taste away but left the flavour. Now it's amazing. Really changes the taste. Oddly, the strawberry doesn't seem to have the artificial sweetener taste in the yoghurt. I use 10 drops of the toffee in my porridge and that's the perfect amount. I would highly recommend these drops. The apple is apparently also lovely in yoghurt, so I've been told, but I haven't tried it yet. Goes Well With:Yoghurt and porridge.
Right been buying these for some time with unflavoured protein . I would very recommend as they taste great so far iv tryed strawberry . Rasberry . Bannana and chocolate I would say out of them banana is thr best followedby sstrawberry and Rasberry . Unfortunately I would not recommend chocolate because it doesnt taste nice at all . Doesn't evan taste like chocolate either
I bought toffee which is excellent, so much that I bought another 3. It has a natural toffee flavour. I got apple and raspberry too on second order. I find the raspberry more like the raspberry syrup you put on a whippy icecream cone so personal I'm not a big fan as I flavour Greek yogurt and shakes. If you like the syrup, you're in luck. The apple is like appletiser lemonade. It's quite synthetic flavour but it's ok to flavour protein pancakes. I would def recommend the toffee. I goes great with shakes, yogurt, protein fluff, tea/coffee and most baked products like cheesecake.
Buying these is the best decision I've made, never going back to flavoured protein. Mixed with just Impact Whey Protein (unflavoured so saving on money) and water tastes like a milkshake, plus you can have multiple flavours for a different shake each day. I've got quite a few so here's a review of each: Strawberry: Probably the best of the lot, go for a few flavours so you can mix it up, but definitely include this one. Toffee: Great on its own (even better mixed with banana for banoffee flavour (please bring out a Dulce de Leche flavoured one MyProtein)); a little sweet if too much used on own. Banana: Same as for toffee. Raspberry: Very good although I prefer strawberry. Vanilla: Good mixed with other flavours (and in coffee); not so great on its own. Chocolate: avoid at all costs - it is awful (unless you add cocoa powder as well but better off getting the pre-flavoured protein if you really want chocolate).Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein, Water, Milk (optional)
I bought the chocolate flavour drops and initially, I was quite disappointed - I added them to porridge and whilst the smell was delicious, the flavour did not quite carry through. However, adding these to my protein shake (Vegan blend, chocolate smooth) really intensified the chocolate flavour and gave a much needed sweetness to the shake. It lasts incredibly well but I'm already trying to decide my next flavour purchase! Goes Well With:Protein shake
I love MP flavdrops! No nasty aftertaste, I use them every day. Not so keen on peanut butter flavour, however toffee, maple, banana are absolutely lovely! White chocolate and vanilla also very good. Also , toffee and maple and banana add a bit of colour if you make your porridge with water, which is also good. Highly recomended.Goes Well With:Porridge, yogurt, coffee
These drops are amazing. Taste great and quite healthy. I love mixing them up to make my own flavours. Like the toffee and apple. Makes it taste like toffee apple. Amazing for unflavoured products. I talke it everywhere with me. Love it, amazing. Goes Well With:Anyother flavours to create your own. Uflavored products. I use BCAA.
Love the fact I can determine the sweetness of my unflavoured shakes, make sure you mix it into the shake after adding water or it clumps up.Goes Well With:Unflavoured protein shake
Great product but strong smell in cupboard
These are amazing!! I have three flavours and always buy a new one with each order Banana, Raspberry and Toffee, you can add to pretty much anything to give it a boost of flavour I use them in fage 0% yoghurt, coffee, tea, soaked oats, baking. You dont need much as a couple of drops will give good flavour. No weird aftertaste, good packaging with easy to use dispenser. Excellent value for money for how long they last Goes Well With:Yoghurt, Coffee, Cakes, Oats
Taste great in unflavoured whey and without the overwhelming sweetness that some of the preflavoured shakes have. Some flavours could be more concentrated. They're a little weak and need alot of drops to taste. Nut zero calories means it doesn't matter much. But great to have full control over the taste of a shake. And lots of flavour choices and one bag of unflavoured shake means lots of choice throughout the day. Goes Well With:Whey protein.
What a game changer! Honestly, for someone with an EXTREMELY sweet tooth these are amazing. I ordered toffee, White choc and raspberry. Toffee is fab in porridge and Greek yogurt, not so great in coffee. The White choc is amazing in everything, coffee/oat and egg white pancake, yogurt, all fab. The only downer is the raspberry, I had it in my oats and found it extremely artificial and gave me a headache. I thought nothing off it then tried it again in yogurt, but unfortunately it had the same effect. Would definitely be keen to try more flavours, but slightly nervous of the artificial-ness!!Goes Well With:Yogurt/oats/coffee/pancakes/protein
Absolute game changer. Awesome in an unflavoured whey shake but for me, my morning black coffee is no longer chugged back and washed down with water, but enjoyed and savoured. If they did a 500ml bottle of this stuff I'd be balling. Vanilla flavour obviously, but I'm sure the others are decent as wellGoes Well With:Unflavoured whey, black coffee
Its an amazing product ! Does have a very slight after tastebut so much betterthan the other prouducts i have tried. Its amazing in coffee , baking u name it !
Couldn't do without these when on a serious diet, use them in oats, coffees, yogurts, pretty much everything I can and it really helps with cravings. Chocolate peanut butter is great and the strongest flavor IMO
I am loving the flavdrops, all the flavours that I have bought recently are really good. They are a good substitute to flavour food instead of using sugar if you are trying to loose weight and they are quite versatile in what you can put them in.
I've tried peanut butter, white chocolate, maple, vanilla and toffee. I found peanut butter quite disappointing (as for me - tastes not near as peanuts or peanut butter) as well as vanilla (too artificial - will stick with regular vanilla extract or vanilla instead). On the other hand, toffee and maple are excellent. The right amount of sweetness and taste resemblance. As for white chocolate - it is my favorite. Gives a nice, creamy taste to protein blend and other food stuff I make. Overall, I do recommend the product, but you will have to experiment yourself to find your favorites.Goes Well With:Baking, pancakes, protein, yogurt, curd
Was looking forward to this delivery but really really disappointed with this product smells like peanut butter and chemicals and when I tried it it was like eating chemicals..not pleasant at all
you only need 2 -3 drops to get the correct taste mixes really well with plain greek yogurt or porridge . Goes Well With:porridge, greek yogurt
These are an amazing substitute for a sweet tooth! I've ordered chocolate, peanut butter, banana, toffee and vanilla before. Chocolate and peanut butter are a waste of time and really don't taste good at all. Banana is by far the best and strongest tasting. Toffee is very good at just adding that little tang. The vanilla drops are the base flavour for everything giving ample sweetness! Use all three together and you'll blow your mind! Goes Well With:Coffee, Green Tea, Baking/Food
I bought the white chocolate flavour and am very happy with the product. Don't be put off by the small size of the bottle because it has a couple hundred servings due to its high potency.Goes Well With:Plain yogurt as well as milk
Awesome product that's helped me get through prep. Loved the toffee one in coffee and green tea. Goes Well With:Coffee and green tea
I got these just as a way to make plain oats and water taste a little better so I could get my carbs up. Then earlier today I was making coffee and figured I'd give it a go just to see what it looks like... Absolutely delicious. In porridge it just gives it a little taste, but in coffee it turns it into basically a mocha. I've only tried the chocolate peanut butter flavour as of yet but I have every intention of getting a bunch of these on my next order.Goes Well With:Coffee Coffee Seriously, try it in your coffee
I think these are great! I use the white chocolate flavour in my unflavoured protein pancakes & it gives just a subtle sweet taste; which for me is great as I don't have a massively sweet tooth. Wasn't sure on value for money, but having seen how few drops you need, they will last ages. Well worth a purchaseGoes Well With:Protein Pancakes
These little drops of deliciousness are amazing - especially mixed into greek yoghurt :) So far tried banana (don't use too much), white choc (more of a subtle flavour) and toffee. Love all 3 :)Goes Well With:Plain greek yoghurt, porridge, smoothies, coffee
Ordered the white chocolate which is very nice and sweet although I can't say it tastes exactly like white chocolate! Helps with cravings though is great in coffee porridge yoghurt and baking!
I have tried three different flavours for the flav drops (white chocolate, sour apple & raspberry) all of which I use daily. With me being a competitive bikini-fitness athlete I am restricted to the amount of carbs in my diet and fruit is not allowed (because of the high sugars). Therefore when I came across the flavdrops as an alternative to fruit, it was perfect for my morning porridge. The raspberry was by far my favourite and the most natural tasting. The white chocolate was quite heavy and therefore only needed a couple of drops - but white chocolate is definitely my favourite whilst prepping, as it's the nearest taste to a chocolate bar I get during prep. The sour apple is extremely sweet (but that's a positive thing)... I tend to mix together the raspberry and apple which gives a lovely summer taste to my oats. I have recommended this product to many of my work colleagues who want a healthy alternative for breakfast. Once my prep is over I think I will still continue with this product as it is not only healthy, it is also very tasty! The major positive to all 3 flavours - they last so long and are so cheap! Request - more flavours to be added please :D Goes Well With:breakfast: 50g oats, little bit of water, flav drops, 2:30mins in the microwave = fruity-tasting healthy porridge!
These are the best invention ever. I stir a few drops into plain greek yoghurt and it transforms it into something that tastes like it shouldn't be guilt free but it is! I've also used these in the protein pancake mix and it was superb. Definitely would recommend!
very good value, toffee flavor is fantastic, however it is difficult to taste stevia apple flavor, probably need to add a few extra drops, maple flavor is decent.Goes Well With:porridge, yogurt
Only 10 drops on 300ml. water with all ingredients. Rich taste, some sweet, excellent for mixing own shakes. I using banana taste and also have apple, but apple waiting in line on next shake. I almost sure that apple will be excellent to :) Good luck for everyone.Goes Well With:Whey isolate, BCAA, Creatine.
Helps make the vegan blend taste a lot better!!
I have tried the majority of the flavours, i recommend adding a little less of the stevia drops then the normal to shakes, yogurt ect, as its more potent to avoid chemical taste. The stevia drops do taste different compared to the regular but i found after a few uses i got used to it. My fav flavours are maple, white chocolate, banana and toffee. These drops are amazing for changing things up. I also like to experiment a little banana and toffee goes well together as does chocolate and maple. Goes Well With:shakes, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, milk in cereal
I have tried the peanut butter and toffee flavours. I bought them to add to banana or chocolate smoothies for a change. The PB has a great, quite strong flavour. The toffee is less strong but also nice. They're also nice in a hot chocolate.Goes Well With:shakes, smoothies, hot chocolate
I got this and 2.5kg of unflavoured whey after all the great reviews. I was hoping that I could get that from now on and get my protein for less and with a better range of flavours. Raspberry (Stevia) Sadly on first taste I wasn't impressed. It does work and does put flavour into the whey but I needed whey more than the 7-10 to give it any flavour. (sorry for the pun) * 5 drops - No real change * 10 drops - Slight raspberry coming through * 15 drops - Still not up to the taste of the raspberry whey powder When calculated that I would need 15+ drops per serving to get a nice flavour the servings you get from this decrease and this then means the £/g protein goes down to where I might as well just buy the flavoured whey powder.Goes Well With:Unflavoured whey poweder
