Strawberry collagen protein

Lactose Free
5From when I discovered this collagen protein I keep take it daily. Is lactose free and this means no worry about gassy stomach. And unflavored version is very versatile. I can put it in all kind of food recipes.Goes Well With:Everything

Change in product for the worse
1Previously I had a brilliant product, the vanilla collagen protein went with everything..since then I tried the vanilla protein again and it was terrible. I put that down to the flavouring and then tried the unflavoured but both have a terrible acrid smell and taste. There is a much darker and more granular appearance. This product need to be quality controlled and withdrawn from the market until resolved to ensure the damage is limited. I have had to buy else where to get the collagen protein..its not as good as the previous MP version I tried but definitely better than this new version.Goes Well With:The bin

This seems like good stuff
5Early doors for me on this, but this collagen Protein seems like good stuff. It is unflavoured, & I have it mixed with high juice orange squash & 5g of BCAA powder. I take it as intra workout shake on workout days only, as opposed to pre & post workout as it is recommended. This is because Wesley Vissers said collagen peptides work most effectively in an intra workout drink due to the blood flow from intense training. Any way, mostly hoping it will aid joint health. It mixes well, & only has a very slight twang to the taste (even though unflavoured). Zero complaints here.Goes Well With:High juice squash & water

Disappointed
2I haven’t ordered this for a while, so this is the first one I’ve had in the new packaging. So disappointed, I used to mix into coffee but can’t do that now. The taste has changed so much despite it suppose to be unflavored.

Product changed
2Disappointed that this has now changed. I used to put this in my morning coffee and couldn’t taste it but they must have now changed this and can taste it now in my coffee and it’s horrible

Strawberry flavour was disgusting
1I'm pretty confident that collagen is a good thing to supplement with, but the taste of this was absolutely awful. It mixed well with milk and didn't seem to have any bits in. But it just tasted horrible, extremely chemically. I've had quite a few of the whey flavours from myprotein, and enjoyed all of them, so was surprised that this tasted so bad. I had one more sip to confirm and laughed at how bad it was. Couldn't manage to have any more, and poured it out.

New formulation undrinkable
1Been buying this monthly for almost 3 years. Opened this new pack today and could tell something was different. The colour was darker yellow and smell was complete off. Opened 2 packs just incase and they are identical. No smooth and mild flavour like before, new packs have a very chemical/artificial flavour, and a strange cinnamon like aftertaste. Normally have 3 scoops, could barely stomach 1 scoop. Will not be buying again. Goes Well With:Nothing

Awful, doesn't mix well at all
1Usually have my protein powder mixed with oats and fruit, heated like a porridge. Switched to the collagen powder today and it's inedible... Mixes like a juice instead of a thick consistency. Now stuck with a huge bag of this that I can't eat. Doesn't taste of vanilla at all either

Unpleasant taste
1I've just ordered a bigger pack unflavoured and the taste is unbearable, very sour. I have ordered a small pack unflavoured before and it was delicious, yet the bigger size it's not drinkable.
