    Overview

    MP Max Coconpure is a multi-purpose organic coconut oil which can play an important role as a physiologically functional food. Coconut oil is often regarded as being the healthiest dietary oil on Earth due to its unique saturated fat content which is rich in lauric acid and medium chain triglycerides.

    As a food supplement, coconut oil is heat stable so it can be used as a direct substitute for other oils when baking, roasting or frying. It can also be used as a raw ingredient for sports drinks or as an alternative to butter.

    Coconut oil is completely cholesterol-free and does not contain any trans-fatty acids. It is also a great source of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), which the liver transforms directly into energy rather than fat, just like carbohydrates. MCTs can also boost metabolism and satiety which are both recognised as promoting weight loss.

    Coconut oil has a high concentration of lauric acid, a medium chain fatty acid, which appears to have antiviral and antifungal properties, as well as supporting immune function. Lauric acid is actually present in breast milk and is used by infants to protect them from infection. Research has also shown that coconut oil can help prevent heart disease, stroke, and hardening of the arteries.

    The coconuts used in MP Max Coconpure are 100% organic and have been harvested from specifically farmed palm trees in the bountiful continent of Asia. Our organic coconut oil contains no GMO ingredients and has not been hydrogenated, bleached, refined or deodorised.

      I use this on a bran bagel in the morning as a butter replacement (it is not spreadable from the fridge but it has such a low melting point that crumbling some on the warm bagel is no problem) and then wholenut peanut butter ontop and it's an excellent start! I know it says this can be used for cooking but I found it smokes like a bugger!

      Hi,fantastic product.The healthiest oil in the world.When cooked with organic chicken breats=amazing!!! All round great versatile product.Research suggest consuming coconut oil with omega 3's double's their antioxidant activity.I will be cooking with this for a long time as it is completely heat stable,even better than olive oil.

      I thought this would taste like coconut however, eating it in it's raw form you experience a synthetic rank taste. BUT....when you mix it in smoothies or cook with it then you get the coconut taste...and boy is it nice.\n\nI found that using it as a marge substitue is best. Spread on soreen...nice.

      Just got this stuff a few days ago, and have been using a desertspoon 45 mins before training. Its so tasty, that i literaly spoon it straight out of the tub and eat it. The fragrance and aftertaste are wonderful. I have also used it to fry / saute food, and it makes most things taste great - meat, poultry, seafood, even eggs! I'm not sure of the ergogenic benefit as of yet, as i have read that it takes a few weeks of using the stuff regularly to get that kind of effect.
