As a massive foodie this mid morning meal really hits the spot. 100% luxury. At first i didn't really think much of the pancake mix but with my experience as a chef I decided to persist and managed to perfect it! Here's how: 50g Pancake Mix (I use the maple syrup) 125ml water (this may look a bit thin when added but trust me on this ;) ) Optional: Dried/fresh fruit and/or nuts (make sure you cut the fruit up into little bits and crumble the nuts) 15g Mascapone 25ml Apro Hazelnut milk Heat a non stick pan to hot/very hotBreak down any lumps in the pancake powder with the whisk before adding the water. There is no need for any oil/butter/spray oil, they will not stick. Pour in the water all at once and whisk for say 30 seconds until smooth. Pour half of the mix into the pan evenly (making sure the pan is flat). Sprinkle on half of your prepared nuts and/or fruit. Now here's the important bit: make sure you only cook the first side jsut to the point where it starts to pubble and theres still a little liquid ontop. Now using a spatula, carefully flip it over. The pancake is now 90% cooked. Cook the second side now for literally a few second, this way the its still going to be nice and moist inside as the pancake has still maintained it's moisture. Repeat again for the second pancake. Now I like to mix the mascapone and hazelnut milk until it starts to froth. Then pour over the top (this makes the pancake super moist). Enjoy guys, you will not regret buying this.Goes Well With:Fresh/Dried Fruit Nuts
Like all pancakes, the first couple you make you always chuck away and it's nodifferent here. Found the first one far too thick, added a bit extra water and then used a smaller frying pan and boom, perfection! A lot more filling than I thought so unless you're Dwayne Johnson then go easy with the portionsGoes Well With:Chocolate Peanut butter, almonds
Great product like the taste but needs to be made very thin
I get a bag of the golden syrup mix every order and I can tell you that this pancake mix must have been made from ground angel wings, a pinch of pure happiness and a dusting of Megan Fox because these are positively delightful! 250ml of skimmed milk, 4 level scoops of mixture and you will have noises coming from your mouth that should be reserved for the bedroom!! Keep the pan heat reasonably low, mix one scoop at a time into the milk and the consistency is perfect every time! They will keep you full for hours and get your protein intake going first thing in the most enjoyable way! Top with pure peanut butter and you will refuse any other pancake again! I like to take mine at breakfast, but the girlfriend likes them cold for lunch as well! Take your pick! The only regret is that your bank balance will never be the same again after ordering over and over again! Perfecto! Goes Well With:Peanut butter, banana, coffee, anything!
I have the maple syrup flavor pancake mix and it is amazing! Especially if you have a sweet tooth. The only downfall is that they might be a bit TOO sweet. I admit that I get a bit bored with my entirely savory diet and these hit the spot! I couldn't have ate another sweet thing all day! Goes Well With:Chopped banana in the mixture - IT CARAMELIZES!
I bought the small pack of chocolate and golden syrup to try although I wasn't expecting too much after reading the reviews about them being lumpy and hard to cook. I tried the golden syrup first using 125ml water with 50g in my breville active blend, it blended really well and I managed to get two large pancakes out of it, they cooked within a few minutes and didn't stick or fall apart. When I tasted them I was amazed they were so tasty, the golden syrup is very sweet but still delicious. I tried the chocolate the following day and it was just as easy to cook, it is not really chocolately but just right for pancakes. The next day I tried adding an egg to the mixture and it makes it even more soft and fluffy. I have just ordered the large bags and also the maple syrup to try. It is very filling, full of protein and low in calories. This is definitely my new breakfast and after workout treat.
I bought the Maple Syrup flavour. The powder is fairly easy to mix but you have to work it well to avoid lumps. The pancakes cook really quick, which is excellent at breakfast time. Their taste is quite sweet so anything you spread on them should not add any more sugar. My Protein crunchy almond butter is my favourite topping, but they are excellent on their own too. Goes Well With:Unsweetened almond butter.
I can't understand why people are rating these low?! The only thing that requires a bit of thought is that they mix with lumps sometimes. Solution: pour the mixture into a blender, blend for 30 seconds, done. Perfectly smooth mixture with no lumps. To stop it sticking I use some 1 cal. fry light spray (no problems) peals of the pan easy. I use about 4 sprays per pancake to ensure it doesn't stick (can't moan at 4 extra calories). They cook in about 3 minutes and the only addition I make to the recipe is a chopped banana on top! I have the golden syrup flavoured pancakes and when I made them I was a bit sceptical about the taste, however when I tried one I was pleasantly surprised! They tasted amazing! I couldn't stop eating them! The standard mix of 50g to 150ml of milk was a bit thick for me so I added 200ml of milk and it made 4 small and thick pancakes. Product is very simple to use and tastes great! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be purchasing again!Goes Well With:Chopped Banana
golden syrup flavor is nasty all I can taste is artificial flavor and sweeteners they should do this in a unflavored option and you can add your own flavor of choice Goes Well With:nothing
They taste amazing. They keep me filled up for hours. They're REALLY easy to make. If you want them extra fluffy - add an egg. I'm just going to keep buying them. Have tried all the flavours and love them all.
As someone who often misses breakfast this give me something quick, easy and fulfilling to eat in less than 5 mins and is obviously much better for you than a stop en-route to the office. Will definitely be re ordering, I purchased the Golden Syrup version, yes it is sweet but hey it is a pancake after all....
Very excellent taste, ordering several times, never disappointed
These little ditty's taste amazing. I bought the standard mix and used unsweetened Almond Milk to blend with. Have started adding Cinnamon and 100% Raw Cacao into the mix. Top it off with some Blueberries and 100% Peanut Butter. Works a treat!Goes Well With:Blueberries. 100% Raw Cocoa. 100% Peanut Butter.
Very happy I bought these! Not only a relatively high level of protein, but low carbs, meaning I can add what I want without feeling overly guilty. I like to either enjoy as a breakfast or as a pudding/snack to curb a sweet tooth. It took a few attempts to perfect, but now its very quick to create a high protein meal or snack. I noticed a few lumps in the shaker I used, but was unable to tell once cooked. Goes Well With:Bananas and maple syrup MyProtein smooth peanut butter
Bought MP's Maple Syrup flavour. Very very tasty! Not too sweet. Just right and nice and moist too.Tried this pancake mix because I was getting tried of protein bars and wanted something for work that had good ingredients and nutritional profile. Plus it's very cheap. This has twice the protein content of most bars and is very filling compared to endlessly having protein shakes. Very easy to make either in the morning or the night before and put it in the fridge. Vanilla would be a great flavour to introduce MP! :)Goes Well With:Omega Balance :)
Recently bought these and they are already my new favourite breakfast! Bought the unflavoured version - I have 1.5 scoops with 100ml almond milk and that makes 2 good size pancakes (I like them slightly thicker!). I mixed it in a shaker with a ball and it mixed pretty well, although there were still a few lumps left. I found them so easy and quick to cook!! I don't think i'd like to eat the plain ones by themselves, but when you have them with fruit etc they taste sooooo good! They are really fluffy too. And they are SO FILLING! If I have these for breakfast I know I won't be hungry again until lunch. Goes Well With:Fruit, peanut butter, honey, maple syrup
So easy to do it and getting 20gr of protein just like that. Love this product totally!!! Shame didn't get more!
Love these pancakes. Tried the unflavoured one at first, which were ok but found had to add toppings to them for added taste. Following this I bought the maple syrup ones and they taste so good! I don't need to put anything on them, although I am not sure of the nutrition value for these ones. They mix really well and if you only cook just for a minute each side they do not go dry. Excellent for breakfast as gives you a feeling of fullness of protein and carbs, or as an after dinner treat if you have a sweet tooth but don't want to eat something unhealthy! Will continue to buy these, would love the nutrition info for them!Goes Well With:Honey, Banana
Great value pancakes, excellent macros. Perfect protein breakfast!
I got maple syrup flavour and these are the absolute BOMB. Had chocolate before but these are way better. I think they mix okay too.. I find 125ml of water is best and you've got to be patient when cooking them to keep them from sticking or tearing but that's pancakes!Goes Well With:Cinnamon & calorie free pancake syrup
I ordered the maple syrup one. Follow the directions perfect and it mixes nicely, the flavour is really sweet though and i have a sweet tooth. Think a plain one would be nicer to add different foods/fruit to. Tried to add an egg to up my intake and the mix was horrendous, so only used 100ml of water and they turn out ok. Goes Well With:Coffee
I'm very happy with this Pancake mix: easy to make and very tasty. However, 100ml of milk/water is definitely not enough. I always add a bit more, about 150ml. Goes Well With:Greek yoghurt, blueberries and banana :)
Was a really good source of protein and a very good taste for breakfast time or even between meals if peckish . The only problem I had was it didn't go well on the pan I had to mix one egg white to it to help with it solidifying on the pan other than that was perfect loved it ! Goes Well With:Some maple syrup , strawberrys or else some melted Nutella and blueberries
Wasn't sure at first but Glad I tried this, If your lazy when it comes to cooking like me and like things easy then I would recommend this product. High Protein Intake good to have 90 mins before your workout, and the thing I love about these the most is that you can mix them with almost anything. I tend to layer them each with Honey, Greek Yogurt & Blue Berries, amkes them taste even better. Defo worth a shot. I myself will be purchasing more.Goes Well With:Honey, Chocolate, Fruit, Yogurt
Both vanilla and chocolate pb are repeat purchases for me as they're my favourites of all the flavours I've tried- (and I've tried most that there are samples of). Both flavours taste really creamy, even mixed with simply water, in my opinion. Chocolate pb makes a great beltsander protein brownie with a bit of baking powder, cocoa powder and truvia. Vanilla makes an amazing protein soft serve with xanthan gum, vanilla extract, truvia and loads of ice. Can't beat MP's value for money and product quality :-) Happy customer once again Goes Well With:Xanthan gum
Fantastic product. Good protein content without to many carbs. Tastes to die for mixed with peanut butter and blueberriesGoes Well With:Blueberries or banana
Fantastic product. Good protein content with not too many carbs. Taste to die for mixed with peanu butter and berriesGoes Well With:Berries
I just can't believe these. Especially given the macros, they just taste so good! I have seen lots of recipes online to make your own protein pancakes and nearly every time I have ended up throwing them away as they are almost inedible. These on the other hand are fantastic. So quick and easy to make, so tasty and can be fit into a cutting meal plan. I especially enjoy it with some powdered peanut butter made and a little bit of my protein granola mixed in for added crunch and texture. My final month of cutting just became a lot easier! My only regret is I should have stocked up whilst they were on offer 😔. In any case thank you very much myprotein!Goes Well With:Peanut butter (powdered) with a small amount of myprotein granola
I bought these on a whim and I was really surprised with how good they were, a lot of protein products end up having a lot of calories and sugar, but at under 200cal a serving with sweeteners you can't go wrong. The protein is really good for the calories with low carb and fat. They were really tasty, a great post-workout snack and a really good way to get extra protein in. I was a little disappointed there was only 4 servings per pack, but I know the price was a lot lower than what I would've typically paid elsewhere. Overall, I was pleased with what I bought, I would definitely recommend these to someone trying to get protein in with a sweet tooth.Goes Well With:Peanut/Almond butter, syrup.
I love this stuff. Perfect quick, delicious breakfast. My own protein pancakes always fell apart but these are soft and fluffy and stay intact even with me cooking them.
Read reviews before that stated the mix was way to sweet... safe to say I didn't find this an issue! I have a really sweet tooth and they weren't overpowering at all. Worked as a great post workout meal as it was dead quick to prep and cook- mixed really well and took hardy any effort at all. I found that they were a little chewy when I made them but I think that was due to the thickness of them. I made them in a similar fashion to scotch pancakes as that's the way that I like them, in future I'll try them a little thinner or potentially add egg whites to fluff them up.Goes Well With:0% Fat Greek yoghurt Any seasonal fruit
After using these for a while I can vouch for their effectiveness. Tend to blend 75g with 200ml of milk, a teaspoon of baking powder and 20-30g of oats, to form a great batter that fills out macros very well and tastes great at the same time. Topped off with Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit it provides a delicious and very effective way of giving me the nutrition for a mid morning work out. When cutting, simply cut the oats and see the results, while still enjoying breakfast rather than forcing down egg whites.Goes Well With:Greek yoghurt, MyProtein syrups
I purchased the maple syrup flavour, and I'm really pleased I did. My protein intake is quite high on my macros, and I was getting a little fed up of constantly eating eggs for breakfast. I mix mines with water, and even though the consistency is a little runny, I still manage to make perfect little mini pancakes. Jut stack them all up. Add some chopped fruit on top, a little drizzle of syrup and you are good to go. Very filling. And hits the spot. Thanks myprotein for this great mix. I cant wait to try the other flavours.
Great taste, mixes well. Will definately buy more
I tend to have the chocolate flavour but have tried them all. The other flavours tend to be a little too sweet but make a nice change occasionally. It'seems a great way to boost protein intake whilst keeping carbs low. I tend to eat them as mid morning or afternoon snacks. Sometimes in the evening if a bit peckish. Mixability is excellent and they cook really easily, you can toss them just like normal pancakes. One serving makes two large pancakes. Goes Well With:Peanut butter
excellent product, very easy to mix and taste's great (I purchased the maple syrup flavoured mix).
Absolutely love this pancake mix. Brilliant way to get a quick fix of protein in since I don't like shakes. Very easy to make. Can't wait to buy moreGoes Well With:Bananas, chocolate sauce.
does exactly what it says on the bag! great tasting product in golden syrup. would recommend as a high protein snack/mealGoes Well With:fruit
love love love this pancake mix so easy to make perfect pancakes eah time, taste amazing and macros are fab!Goes Well With:waldern farms
Easy to mix, easy to cook. Great tasting high protein meal.
i brought this mix, not expecting them to taste nice or anything like pancakes, however i wanted a breakfast with high protein other than eggs. I was really impressed. Like others i had to make a few to get these right but when i did .... i LOVED them. I mix two scoops with a little milk and an egg which makes them nice and fluffy. They make like and look like normal pancakes and taste delicious. I serve mine with a banana and a little of the my protein syrup and lemon juice which makes these just divine. I have the golden syrup flavor and will certainly be buying this product again.I would highly recommend this product. Goes Well With:Bananas, lemon juice and my protein syrup.
The best protein pancakes I have tried. Taste better, mixes better and cooks better than any others I have tried
These pancakes are delicious! I had the golden syrup flavour and could eat these all day. l definitely be purchasing again.
Highly recommend this product. Took a little bit of practise to get right but now I've mastered the art they come out perfect!!! A little small though I will admit but other wise great taste great texture for protein pancakes. Overall really good I'm about to order my next batch of this stuff.Goes Well With:Syrup, honey, strawberries, blueberries, yogurt....anything you want to put with them to be honest.
Love this product..... Quite sweet but nice with some natural yoghurt :)
This pancake mix is excellent to go with your breakfast or as a mid morning snack. I have tried various mixing methods and found just an extra 25ml of milk, and an egg goes well and makes 4-5 in a little egg pan. The maple syrup flavour is just right if you have a sweet tooth or if you prefer it sweeter I have found mixing a small amount of dark chocolate drops in the mix tatse amazing. Mixing isn't an issue as some have mentioned it mixes well in one of the shaker bottles, I will be buting again.Goes Well With:Dark Chocolate Bananas & Peanut Butter (MyProtein version)
Didn't think these would be much good, only threw them in as it discounted the rest of my order. Having tried them though I'm pleasantly surprised. They're really easy to do (50g is about 2 scoops, mix with about 120 ml milk) and taste great. The batter looked a little thin but once it was in the pan the pancakes actually came out nice and thick. Had it with a banana on the side and it kept me going for a while.
Unfortunately, the pancakes don't cook well at all. I followed the cooking instructions perfectly and they came out terrible. They aren't remotely fluffy and they stick to the pan like nothing I've ever cooked! I'm guessing it must be the flavouring which is somehow watery and incredibly sweet. I even tried using loads of oil which still didn't work and just made them worse. I regret buying 1kg now.Goes Well With:Yogurt and berries. Lots of them.
Am I the only one to struggle with the cooking. Anyone got tips as the pancake just stick to the pan Goes Well With:Lemon juice
