Omega 3 Liquid Super Strength is a high strength fish oil in liquid form. Our oil contains 825mg of EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) & 550mg of DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) per serving. Omega 3 Liquid Super Strength is manufactured under the PureMax™ proprietary process which guarantees high quality, pure and potent fish oils that have been responsibly sourced. PureMax™ is a unique Omega 3 purification and concentration technology developed through years of research, development and manufacturing experience.
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are both long chain fatty acids that have been shown to contribute to the normal function of the heart. If taken at the recommended daily doses Omega 3 Liquid Super Strength will contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure and normal blood triglyceride levels.
We only use low odour oil with a hint of flavouring to ensure taste is not an issue when consuming and this product is available in both strawberry and orange.
The PureMax™ process guarantees the highest quality fish oils by removing environmental pollutants (such as heavy metals, dioxins, pesticides and PCBs, which tend to accumulate in fish high up the food chain) so they are at or below the safe levels set out by authorities such as the European Commission and the Global Organization for EPA and DHA.
This product is recommended for anyone who wants to increase Omega-3 intake and who may lack fish in their diet.
We recommend consuming 5ml 1 - 3 times daily with meals.

I bought the orange flavour and its more of a fragrance tbh. It doesnt have a strong orange flavour to it so you can have the recommended 5ml even whilst eating. 5ml is about a teaspoon. Great taste, no fishy smell at all. I actually wanted a bit of fishy smell to it so that I know Im taking in omega 3s. But i trust MyProtein in terms of the quality of their products so it cant be olive oil in a bottle. But definitely if you are worried about the taste - dont. Its very neutral with slight orange fragrance.Goes Well With:anything really. its just a great product for your overall health
Nice product, sine I do not like soft gels. The taste is ok-ish, but it has some aftertaste.
The taste (strawberry) is surprisingly palatable and easy to take.
Tastes extremely bitter with barely any hint of strawberry. But it's one of the best options as far as price per mg EPA and DHA and it mixes extremely well in milk (fat soluble) to the point it barely tastes of anything in a 500ml shake. But it mixes terribly on anything water based not milk. Aside from alternatives like Krill oil and Flaxseed (which doesn't compare..) this one's a no brainer.Goes Well With:Anything with milk, especially a shake
Going with my Precision Nutrition Qual, taking 1ml per BF% and it's going down well with my summer training!
I bought the Orange flavor because its on sale, the taste is absolutely alright, its nearly impossible to taste anything in a 5ml serving so i dont understand these reviews like "how much better the strawberry is".... much better value than the capsule version. 5/5Goes Well With:meals
Great product, have entered mixability as 3 as it's oil and so you can't expect it to mix well with things...! Taste isn't very strong (which is a good thing!!) And the nice smell makes it easy to take on its own or with fruit drinks etc. Have noticed a difference in appetite control, afternoon slump/energy levels and also in my skin/hair! So far so good, will keep going to see what else it can do!Goes Well With:Fruit Juice (cranberry!)
Great item, I use it all the time. Its good value and makes a difference to my joint pain.
prety good product and the taste is not fishy at all..realy liked the strawberry flavor !prety pleasand fragrance !
The taste is better than I thought and really quite palettable.Goes Well With:Protein shakes.
Would give five stars if it wasn't for the fact that the artificial flavour is so strong you can still taste it the next day. It also means the oil is unsuitable for mixing with food unless you want your meals to taste of strong artificial orange flavour. I still have a nearly full bottle of this horrendous stuff in the fridge because I just can't stand the flavour.
It's great for people who can't or have problems swallowing pills. Besides that, if you look at the EPA & DHA value in the 500ml bottle and compare it to other similar products you might notice it's also one of the best deals on the market.
I've done a fair bit of research on the best value-for-money fish oils and this one comes out on top last time I checked. If you want the highest amount of EPA and DHA per £ this is the product you need. Flavour-wise, well it tastes like fruity fish, so what do you expect? That said, it's easy to get down (I use an old Calpol syringe and shoot it down my neck quick) so job's a good'en!
The taste of Omega 3 Liquid is as good as fish oil could be (strawberry). I don't mind at all, feeling good overall, supple joints, excellent energy levels.
The Omega 3 Liquid is a high quality omega 3 fish oil. It's easy to consume, and high in EPA and DHA. It has a good flavour (orange), so consuming fish oil is now easy, fast and super without taste of real fish oil.Goes Well With:All MP products, milk protein smooth...
Omega 3 Liquid tastes ok, as long as you don't leave it lying around in the open for longer. I tried both the orange and strawberry flavour, personally, I much prefer the orange flavour.
Omega 3 Liquid is the best oil in the market... it has a high dosage of dha and epa. The strawberry flavour is much better than the orange one... I will keep on buying it.Goes Well With:healthy lifestyle
We should all take fish oil because it helps with our muscles and bones. You can taste that this Omega 3 Liquid has a orange flavour to it but it still doesn't disguise the taste of fish in my opinion! I have to take it quick with water and you cant mix it with anything as you can still taste it.
This Omega 3 Liquid has the best price ever! And the taste is not really bad. I will buy it again!
This stuff actually doesn't taste bad. It smells great but has a neutral taste. Far prefer this over downing a handful of capsules.
I have been using this for around two years and it is very good stuff. I tend to take a swig straight out of the bottle so not too scientific in terms of how much I'm getting but it's around 10ml each time, which makes the 500ml bottle last a fair while. Thus working out not too expensive. In terms of taste, I can stomach just about anything so it's not an issue for me, it tastes fine to me. However a month a so ago, MP were out of stock with the strawberry flavour so I ordered a couple of bottles of the orange flavour. Big mistake - it is vile. I'm still taking it and washing it down with plenty of water immediately afterwards but my strong recommendation is to go for the strawberry and avoid the orange at all costs.Goes Well With:Eat before meal
The fish oil I ordered came very quick amd does what it's ment to. Im happy with your services.
This Omega 3 Liquid is great - I've been taking 2 5ml spoonfuls a day. This is roughly the same amount of EPA/DHA I'd be getting from 10 capsules so overall this makes things much easier! Taste wise - I'm not going to lie to you - it's not the best. The strawberry flavour helps a huge amount (there's no way I can have the standard cod-liver oil so flavouring is the only option for me) but even with that I have to hold my nose to get it down, followed by a quick swig of some orange juice. Everyone's experience seems to differ depending on how well you can stomach the taste - I personally am a bit of a coward when it comes to bad tastes and even I can polish this stuff off! I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting to get more Omega 3 in their diet without the hassle of taking lots of capsules, or the rough taste of standard cod-liver oil. It's definitely a good buy and a product I will continue to use in the future.Goes Well With:Healthy living.
Strawberry flavour Omega 3 Liquid is never going to be "tasty", but this stuff is certainly manageable. It tastes decent enough that I don't shy away from licking the bottle clean when a little spills down the neck. When mixed in a shake it's unnoticeable, even at the top end of the recommended dose.Goes Well With:Anything (probably)
The taste of this Omega 3 Liquid isn't the best. I've been using it for 2 weeks and it seems to be working.
To be honest I thought this was going to taste really bad, but actually it's palatable and OK to digest (strawberry). It is fish oil though so it's not the greatest thing to consume and I still get the burps.
Most diets recommend Omega Oil in the morning and this fits the bill as a good quality product - compare the contents to medical to see this for yourself and also compare the contents to supermarket products to see what is missing in them. This is a great product at a great price. Taste is not great but I can get my wife and kids to take it daily so it is not that bad. Goes Well With:Take with breakfast
The taste of the orange flavoured Omega 3 Liquid is terrible but the strawberry flavoured one is really nice. I can't believe the difference. I'm well impressed overall and have ordered more (strawberry).
Omega 3 Liquid tastes so bad, it's not MyProtein's fault though, it is after all fish oil! From that point of view, it's not as bad as it could be. Please dont mistake it for tasting nice though, it really does need a carrier for example, I drink some juice which minimises the taste issue. I recommend you take a full dose without a carrier to begin with so you know how much better with juice it is! On the plus side, and the reason we buy this, is that it's high in EPA/DHA 10x that of cod liver oil capsules, so, really, its the quickest way to get your daily dose. I'm currently having three teaspoons in the morning with breakfast, any more isn't economical for the pocket. Pick any flavour, it doesnt matter, it won't mask the taste, healthy pain is coming your way! I actually look forward to my dose now, as it's so good for you, your brain, joints, heart, blood, fat loss, energy, everything! Price is spot on. Endomorphs, you need this! Goes Well With:Strong flavoured juice and a meal.
The Omega 3 Liquid is effective but not tasty!
I used to take another omega3 (DHA from algae) which was very high quality, but the price of it forced me to be conservative with the amounts. I changed to this product for budget reasons and I indulged in taking plenty of it during the first few days (3 or 4 bottle caps a day, which is massive gram by gram). The results make me say this is my new most important supplement (followed by whey, followed by anything else). My mood is more "solid" and I am mentally sharper. I have clearly noticed symptoms of improved circulation, which I won't go into details but are quite pleasant nonetheless. I weigh 100kg plus, and I take 2 bottle caps a day of this currently (some days more). Remember that you need to be generous with the dosage. Incidentally, when I take it on an empty stomach several times (as I did the first few days) I have a strange "shaky" feeling afterwards, caffeine-like in a way, but I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
I bought some Omega 3 liquid orange flavour. I already take capsules and the good price on the liquid led me to buy some bottles. Nobody expects fish oil to taste pleasant, but the use of an orange flavouring turns a naturally unpleasant flavour into an unnaturally unpleasant one that is difficult to disguise. The smell is repulsive and the orange/oil aftertaste is vile. I'm not normally squeemish about food flavours, but I wish I'd gone for plain fish oil without flavouring. As it is, I can't use the oil in food to disguise it, it gives savoury food a horrible taste of unnatural orange. I tried a teaspoonful in strong red pesto and it ruined the meal, while giving me indigestion with a regular 'revisiting' of orange fish oil taste for about an hour after. I've bought 4 bottles, so I'm stuck with it and I grin and bear it, but whoever thought orange flavoured fish oil was a good idea has been proven completely wrong in my books. This review is not mean to undermine the value of fish oil or the effectiveness of the product. It's just almost unpalatable.
Omega 3 Liquid is a better alternative to Udos oil. Tastes ok to have on its own unlike Udos which I have to put in a shake. Great for muscle building and fat lossGoes Well With:CLA
The flavouring of this Omega 3 Liquid is too strong, I took this stuff yesterday and can still taste it today. Why not offer an unflavoured version so I can add it to my food without ruining the taste of it?
Omega 3 Liquid is real good stuff... and the price is perfectGoes Well With:Protein shakes
Bought the strawberry version of Omega 3 Liquid before and taste was acceptable but the orange flavour is horrid. I don't know if it was a bad batch but every time I swallow it, it is like drinking some strong proof alcoholic spirit with a bad taste. Apart from that, it provides good value for money.Goes Well With:water right after
We all know the importance of omega 3, 6 and 9 in our nutrition routines. Especially for us "active types". As Omega 3 needs to be the dominant Omega I normally use capsules to supplement my food sources. The ingredients and proportions of EPA and DHA looked good, so gave it a try to reduce the amount of capsules I am taking. Liquid is always going to be the preferred choice for omega 3 supplements and this product didn't disappoint. I would ignore any comments regarding poor taste for 2 reasons; it really does taste fine (strawberry actually tastes like strawberry) and as I am "results focused", taste is secondary to the value nutrition gives me. Omega 3 is not going to give you overnight results; it is something you need to take regularly over time. But too much research supports it to ignore. And that is for both health and performance! If you are training smart and hard, the correct amount of omega 3 needs to be one of your priorities! Goes Well With:I take it on an empty stomach before 3 of my meals.
This Omega 3 Liquid is great value. It's the cheapest I could find, and does the job.
This is a great product. I've been using it for just under a week. I am already seeing benefits. Being a boxer I have to use supplements that work, and work well. Which this product does. An old elbow injury started to service. So I started looking for a product to help my joints and general well being. This certainly is doing the trick. I got the 500ml strawberry flavour. The flavour is fine. Nice hint of strawberry when you first put it in your mouth. But who keeps this in there mouth for more than a few seconds? I take mine after eating breakfast before work in the morning and after my evening meal. I usually have a drink straight after, so can't comment on after taste. I did mix this with porridge one morning. It mixed fine. But I was not to keen on the taste with porridge.Goes Well With:MyProtein Alpha Men Super Multi Vitamin. My Protein Recovery Evo.
Bought the orange flavour but the taste is still horrendous. Not an issue of effectiveness because I wouldn't be able to stomach the taste. It's still sitting on a shelf, untouched since I first opened it for a try. Smells like orange as opposed to tasting like it. There's still this lingering fishy after-taste. Not my favourite product, I think I'll stick to omega 3/6/9s in capsule form.
I hate the taste of fish! I have tried all sorts of variations, and thought I could only take the capsules, but they cost so much more than the oil. I thought I would give this Omega 3 Liquid a go as a last ditch attempt to find a source of good EPA/DHA at an affordable price. I am now on my 6th bottle and getting plenty of Omega 3 to the point that regular colds and infections have massively decreased and my weight has remained much more stable. It barely tastes of fish, or at least to the degree that I can swallow it, and considering I can't stomach mackerel, or even the smell of it, that is a great bonus.Goes Well With:on it's own or mixed in with a strawberry flavoured shake
Omega 3 Liquid is a great product, it tastes lovely and works very quickly! Highly recommended.Goes Well With:Daily vitamins
I have read a lot about omega 3 over the years and really believe it's important to get enough of for people of all ages. Bad ratios of omega 6 to 3 along with bad fats and sugar are the real reasons behind inflammation and a multitude of western diseases. So it is vital to boost your omega 3 and along with eating oily fish, grass fed beef and nuts and seeds this is a great easy backup. I have a desert spoon a day and figured you'd need to take 8 or so high strength 1g capsules to get a similar amount of EPA and DHA. Says it all really, and the 500ml bottle lasts a long time and is really not too bad. I usually have a spoon of this and a spoon of MCT oil in the morning followed by coffee with double cream in. If you are fat adapted it's the breakfast of champions and quick and simple. Try the strawberry first as I prefer it to orange but really just get it down your neck, I'm sure your body will thank you in old age.
Omega 3 Liquid to take, not too bad a taste if you take it before your cup of tea in the morning. The highest EPA and DHA on the market for the price. Very pleased with this product.
Pretty good stuff it's the first time i've tried fish oil but it's not bad. only been taking it for 2 weeks so i cant comment on how effective just yet but it does have a mild after tase if you give it a good shake each time, it kind of takes the edge off the bitterness
I have only just started taking this and was dreading the taste because everyone spoke about how bad it was! This isn't bad at all, it is no pint of lager mind you, but is acceptable! Too early to state about results but I couldn't find anyone with a higher EPA and DHA level in!
"Had both Orange and strawberry now, i would rate strawberry as slightly better tasting however the flavour tends to sit at the top so shaking the bottle before use is essential or 3/4 of the bottle will have no flavour as i found. Cant fault it's effectiveness though, helps my mood a great deal, so still 5 stars."
"I have the orange flavour bottle. I take a tablespoon each morning. It tastes ok. I don't need to wash it down or anything just take the tablespoon and off to work I go. OBVIOUSLY there will be people who say it is disgusting but in my average opinion, it tastes OK."
"I've searched high and low for a fish based oil I can take. Can't swallow capsules. Can't stomach any fish oil, even those claiming to be 'flavoured' or 'tasteless'. They all repeat on me and are disgusting. And flax is a poor, poor substitute. This stuff is fantastic. Hardly any taste. Doesn't repeat on me. And the strawberry version completely vanishes when mixed into a banana protein drink. It's going to play a big role in helping my middle-aged heart."
"Great product, much easier to take a couple of tea spoons of this a day rather than 6-12 capsules, top class product. will continue buying this for as long as its on the market."
I had been taking the super omega 3 capsules but decided to take the plunge with the liquid due to the higher content of epa and dha per serving.I highly recommend this product the taste is barely noticeable and if put in a small drop of milk tastes and smells like strawberry milkshake or just wash down with a glass of water.drop for drop this is the best way to take higher amounts of omega 3.
sliced bread aint got nothing on this. Its brilliant. No fishy taste or scent just a hint of strawberry after taste with no need for any drink as a follow up. Adding to a shake 15 - 20ml may give a slight strawberry hint but nothing bad at all. I just spoon it.
"The reviews below are quite wrong about the taste, its not that bad and goes if mixed with a shake. when taken on its own i just recommend a glass of water by your side to drink straight away. brilliant product as all joint clciks have now gone :) ."
"I've ordered plenty of these and I'm yet to experience a batch that tasted 'horrible'. Perhaps my taste buds are a bit dull. There is a slight hint of strawberry, but otherwise it's relatively flavourless. It's a tiny bit fishy, but then - it's fish oil. That's to be expected. It's 'low odour', not 'no odour'. Anyone expecting a delicious snack will be disappointed. However, anyone who wants a perfectly harmless, high quality fish oil that gives them unrivalled EPA and DHA levels for the money will be entirely satisfied."
Good quality oil but it tastes horrible! something in between fish and strawberry... If mixed in a protein shake it mixes well and the flavour fades at least.
"The taste: absolutely ""swalloable"". i was getting quite anxious about the lemon flavor, but the first though i had whe finished to sip it down was"" aldready ended?"" and i took a 15ml scoop, which provides roughly 2.5gr of Omega-3."
"I hate fish. Haven't touched it in 30 years. Even I can manage this. Great price and quality. Wash down with a mouthful of coffee if you think it tastes that bad, which it doesn't."
Goes really well with green tea. Gives green tea a sweet strawberry after taste. Give it ago.
"I have tried this once and it tasted revolting - absolutely no strawberry taste at all, just pure fish. Surely it can taste better than this?"
Very good fish oil. Has high levels of EPA and DHA. Much better value than anything else I can find. Goes down very well because of mildness and the strawberry helps. Some people have said its not a strawberry flavour which is kind of true but smell is a large part of what makes up taste.
"This stuff is excellent. There's virtually no taste - just a hint of fish and a slight strawberry aftertaste. It really is minimal though so I'm surprised that there are a few people complaining in the reviews. It basically tastes like almost flavourless olive oil. I've not tasted a better odourless fish oil. Great value too! If you are in any way worried this might taste bad then buy the small bottle, man-up and try a teaspoon full of it!"
"Despite the fact that this is easily the best value product for Omega 3 available, having read the reviews on here, it was with some trepidation that I decided to purchase. Very pleasently surprised. Smell and taste is totally masked by the strawberry, and no fishy aftertaste. Will definitely purchase again."
exellent product you won't find better for your money. Far to much enphasis on supplement flavours on here. We take supps for the effect! Not tastes.
"Yep tastes bad alright, i find pinching my nose helps when consuming! great product though and with the long list of benefits fish oils have on our lives i think a little pain in worth it. After all anything that is good for rarely tastes good !"
"There are some EXTREMELY lucky folks round here, that's all I can say! STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR...?! WHAT STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR!!! I tried flavouring it myself with flavoured stevia, but of course it doesn't mix with the oil! I do have to say there are some wimps here though - I thought BB'ers were all meant to be hard...?! I take 20ml daily (in one shot) knock it back, badda-bing, badda-boom, job done! Could someone tell me how to get the smell out of my bedroom carpet/bedlinen...? I dropped a shot this morning and the smell hasn't come out in the wash (nor has the oil stain - AND I used Vanish!) and Oust Carpet has failed to remove it from the floor, damnit!) it's my favourite duvet cover, too! (would have to be, wouldn't it...?!)"
"This stuff tastes horrible! I read some reviews and took a chance on it, but must have got a batch which didn't get much flavour, not even a hint of strawberry. I have to take it with a mouthful of fruit juice to take the taste away. In terms of quality, its a high spec product - but the flavouring (or lack thereof) is a real let down."
"At £7.99 per 500ml, its the cheapest way to get your daily EPA/DHA. Smells of strawberries and has no taste what so ever which is fantastic. Excellent product."
"No taste of strawberry in my batch, just that fresh fish smell. Not pleasant but you get more nutritional value in the liquid than the pills and it is worth it at the end of the day"
"I have quite a strong stomach when it comes to supplements. As a hardgainer I have knocked back virtually everything under the sun at some point. However, my first spoonful of this was the closest I have ever come to puking. I have to admit, I suppose in hindsight they are really going to struggle to mask the taste of this oil, but I thought I'd at least be able to taste Strawberry a little bit. This might as well have not been flavoured at all. I will start mixing this in some fruit juice to take away the taste. Just be warned before you buy, this just tastes like fishy oil, it's not going to taste like lovely strawberries!"
"This stuff isn't exactly haute cuisine, but then it's not meant to be. The strawberry flavour is really just a smell, and just to help to get it up to your mouth! Since starting to use this about a week ago, I'm feeling much better in general, and a lot less soreness after training. I've also noticed my skin beginning to clear up (a pleasant side effect) and I will probably continue to use this for the foreseeable future. Also MUCH better value and strength than Boot's fish oil or other capsules. The mild unpleasantness of doing shots of fish oil is far outweighed by the benefits of this product. I would recommend."
"I've received lots of 500ml bottles over the past year. I'm not disappointed with taste (as this is fish oil and why should taste good), but consistency is not entirely there as i've had some bottles that taste extremely sweet (to much strawberry flavouring) and some that taste like no sweetener has been added at all. Its good to see you have added some information about contamination and how the product is made etc, but what exactly does 0.1ppm mean in layman's terms? as we are not all chemists. All fish is from the wild?, well of course your going to say that, wheres the evidence. This product works well and reduces inflammation and joint pain i have. It is great value for money (if indeed it is made with as much care as you make it sound like), especially when you have bulk discount, since its been removed i'll definitely be purchasing less of this product and looking for alternatives. Although slightly off-topic, i've had a fair few deliveries from MP and the dispatch and delivery has been extremely quick and of the highest quality. "
"Fish oil needs no further hyping, this is excellent fish oil, the amount of EPA/DHA per serving is excellent and each serving is extremely cheap. This works out to be absolutely phenomenal value - a must buy."
"I have to say I first just started taking this by adding it to my morning shakes, a cap-full, just once a day, this limited me to having only strawberry shakes in a morning, the taste was fine, but after a while the taste started getting alot more fishy and now I don't add it to my shakes as it ruins them, I jus have a tea spoon in a morning and make sure I have something to drink after... I have however noticed alot of veins appearing which I've been told is good... I've also just bought some 3-6-9's tablets though as I doubt I'll be orderin this again, although I do want to as it's quite convenient... as my title says, undecided..."
From the other reviews it appears that there is a lack of consistency in the production process!\n\nMine hardly had any strawberry flavour and hence it was like drinking straight fish oil!!!!!!
"If your looking for a great tasting liquid, pop down to macdonalds and pick up a milk shake.\n\nIf however you are after a high quality omega3 product, this does the job just fine and is great value!"
"Good price, high in EPA and DHA and it doesn't tastes bad at all.\n\nI was a bit surprised about the taste, because most of the strawberry flavored stuff (WHEY, ety.) I tried was really awful, but this oil tastes quite good."
"Was expecting this to taste bad biased on other reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised by how easy this stuff is to get down. The strawberry flavouring smells stronger than it tastes... the oil has a very subtle flavour.\n\nFantastic value for money. One little 5ml spoonful is equivalent to 4 & half of the high street brand gel caps I was using before."
"I really do believe after tasting this (used the small glass bottle size) that everyone else that complained must have recieved a bad batch or the manufacturers sorted out the flavour. The strawberry taste is really weak tastes more of fish oil with a slight aftertaste but nothing bitter or difficult to swallow at all. The EPA/DHA are nice and high, has a low metal count. I also keep mine in the fridge which might help stop what other reviewers are complaining about. Just wish they had the 500ml one in glass as it can help protect the oil also the reason why i gave it 4.5 stars."
"I add three 5ml teaspoons of this to my breakfast shake to make sure I get my daily EFAs. You can't taste it in there, which is fortunate as it's bloody awful on it's own! I think the feeble hint of strawberry flavour actually makes it worse! If it could be made even cheaper by taking out the flavouring I'd definitely be in favour of that!"
"...and if you can bear it, this is an excellent product to get your daily EFA's. Otherwise I'd stick to regular pills."
"I bought the big bottle, and it is unbelievalbe value for money, and makes getting large doses of omega 3 very practical (i used 2 tablespoons daily to get my omega 3: omega 6 ratio 1:1).\n\nDownsides:\n\n1) The flavouring is nasty and bitter. Plain, unflavoured would be fine (well, it is in other unflavoured brands i have used)\n\n2) As requested in the previous review, more information about contaminant levels would be gratefuly recieved and reassuring for such an exceptional value-for-money product.\n\n3) Ditch the plastic bottle in the larger version. I dont like plastics, as they can leech into the oil ,esp. during the packaging process where the bottle can be exposed to high heats, or when sat in warm warehouses. I would pay an extra 50p or so for a glass bottle, like the smaller version."
This is great value oil in terms of the EPA/DHA you get for your money. But without more specific information on the levels of PCBs etc we have no way of knowing how healthy it really is. Some firms publish results of independent test. I'd be happier if MP did this since so much fish oil is contaminated these days.\n\nThe taste isn't amazing. You get a hint of strawberry initially but then you get the rank old oil flavour. Not sure if this means the oil is old or just how it should be.
