Add your preferred amount of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Add 1.5g, shake and consume immediately. Use 2 times daily, preferably between meals for the first 4 weeks, then once daily thereafter.

New to all this, just started using it few weeks back and i can say 100% it helps A LOT with my work outs (i take it 30 min before with Creatine) Only question, how many calories does it have ??

I've bought 1 kg of Beta-alanine, been taking it for 4 weeks now. About it's taste: No taste at all, which is perfect for me. I'm drinking it with water, I can't feel any difference in the taste compared to the water without Beta-alanine. About the mixability: It's okay. I put it in the shaker pour some water then shake for 5 seconds. About the effectiveness: As I said I've been taking it for 4 weeks, which is not a long duration, Beta-alanine needs time to show effects on endurance. I can clearly feel some effects, so I say I'm really satisfied with it. I would recommend it to anyone, thinking about increase endurance.Goes Well With:Water ( I think everything, because it has no taste)
I have recently started a strict workout routine and purchased some supplements that I have never used before and I have to say this really helps a lot! I take Beta Alanine in a shake with Total Nutri Greens (Tropical) and water half an hour before all workouts. You can feel your skin starting to tingle about 25-30 mins after you have consumed the shake, which means it's working and you can start your workout. The difference I noticed is that I can run for much longer and feel less fatigued and also weight training becomes much easier (at one point I though I must have been doing something wrong because I felt really great and could workout for way longer than before). Will definitely be purchasing Beta Alanine again after I finish my pack!
As I've got older, I have become more concerned with effective supplementation in an ever increasing effort to try and maintain strength and muscle mass. Apart from good nutritional supplements, such as whey protein, and the ubiquitous creatine monohydrate, I have found very few, if any, have any real measurable effect - either on the scales/body composition or with objective workout performance. Beta Alanine is the exception to the rule and, for me, produces the kind of results that were previously limited to creatine. Workouts are more energetic and muscle contraction is more vigorous/sustainable. The results can also be measured in terms of body composition - an extra 1.5 pounds of lean muscle in around 6 weeks (with no other changes in either diet, lifestyle or training protocols). Mixes very easily. It has zero taste when taken with juice. For me, the tingling sensation kicks in after 15 minutes and lasts about 1-2 hours and is tolerable (I actually like it), but avoid taking before sleep! Get 4g down me every day, after the first few days taking it the itchy feeling wore off but this is good as that isn't a way to measure its effectiveness. Mix with 5g of creatine every morning in orange juice, mixes easily with a spoon, no lumps and cant taste it.Goes Well With:Creatine Monohydrate, Fruit Juice
So I done a little research before buying and the reviews said it helped with explosive training, and was a good supplement for boxing. So I gave it a shot and WOW! It helped. Id recommend this to any body trying to improve their training.Goes Well With:Taurine, bcaa and normal protein.
I find BA to be kind of sweetish, i mean its unflavored yes but you do feel a kind of side and to me the best description would be sweetish. Its grainy but not too much just without dissolving it in water it crunches under your teeth like sugar basically. In the bag it sometimes clumps up so you have a couple bigger rocks in there, but they brake down without much effort. At first you can get pretty big tingles but they disappear after some use. Nice mildly sweet taste. Not as fine powder as I've gotten from other sources. Also, it seems like it's a little less effective. Maybe because more coarse powder won't absorb as well. But for it's cost it is great, IMO most cost effective source. It really helps with long workouts, so my muscles work till the end. I've done hard 2h+ gym workouts with 10g beta alanine and I lasted till the end (but next day is pain pain pain).Goes Well With:any intra workout drink

Just to let you know ,this stuff works ! As of many of the other reviews you do get the itch that starts from your head down to your legs ,takes 30 mins or so. After that train !!! Hit it hard as you like ,the muscles react better and the endurance improves and they feel sharper! I was sceptical when I got this stuff but yeah impressed so far and I'm sensible how and when I use it. Combine it with creatine and water pre workout and use your electrolyte drink during your workout and post workout use your recovery shake ! Happy days ! I use it for my punch bag weight training session ,improving core strength and improving my legs muscle endurance and sprint power for cycling . Goes Well With:A good work out !
I can't really say if this actually works, been taking for 2 weeks but every time I do it makes me feel sick. The itching isn't really as bad as other reviews suggest so that part of it didn't bother me and it does mix really well with no taste at all so I've been trying to get past the sick feeling to see if it subsides but after two weeks it's just as bad so I won't be taking this again and certainly wouldn't recommend it. Think I'll stick to BCAAs & Creatine.
Great stuff. Really works. Provides extra last min energy to squeeze out those last few reps. Definitely works. The pins and needles (paraesthesia) is bad at first but get used to it after two weeks. If you cannot cope with it then you're soft and shouldn't be training.
Can't go wrong with beta alanine, it's been put through various studies & has been proven effective in all, definitely helps with the fatigue during a hard session, you'll be able to go lift harder for longer & the tingles are great too, definitely works well when combined with creatine, I'd recommend taking the beta alanine pre workout & then the creatine as soon as your done. Only been using for a few weeks and takes several to fully get into system and increase power and energy during first lifting phase. So cannot fully rate. But hey it's beta-alanine it does and will work, always does. Unflavoured mixes easy with a good shake of bottle and taste is very palatable; tastes better than BCAA's, creatine & taurine for sure. The tingling/pins & needles feeling after a large dose is huge though so either divide up the dosage through day or don't take before bed if you cannot take the irritation.Goes Well With:Any liquid.
This is my first review for MyProtein, and I felt I had to say something. After reading many reviews on the benefits of Beta Alanine I thought I'd give it a try. I'd heard about it giving you severe tingles and that 1.5 g should be enough. After weeks of taking this and increasing the dosage to nearly 3g I have still not felt any effects. Very disappointing and I feel like I've wasted my money. Whether this is a dud batch I got, or I have a massive immunity to Beta Alanine, I can't say that this product has done anything to my workouts.
Good supplement. Only take a small amount to feel the affects.
Received some very questionable Beta Alanine from MyProtein. Product is sweet to the taste, looks like sugar in the bag? Taken doses up to 5g at a time without feeling the famous 'tingle' synonymous with BA use. Have to question if I actually received beta alanine? Goes Well With:Lab tests
OK I say awesome because you actually feel the effect of beta in you(PULSING THROUGH ME VEINSSSSZA). But the feeling is really weird, parasthesia they say, well luckily-i've read some where that the sensation goes after a while and that the body gets use to the extra Carnosyn..... I'm only giving this 3 stars because I have only been takin gong it for nearly 2 weeks so may need to wait a bit longer to feel effect. Like I said been taking for about 2 weeks, I take one scoop with a glass of water 4 times a day two hours apart with the last my last intake about 45 mins before I go to the gym, but I have not yet felt any effects be it the tingling or improvement in the gym. Been using beta alanine for a while now and it has become an important part of my training. Certainly experienced improvements in strength and muscular endurance since using this product. The tingling sensation can be quite strong at first but you do get used to it, and I suggest maybe taking the servings with a meal if it's too irritating. The best time to take beta alanine is before a workout.
I mixed this with my beast mode another pre work out formula, this is very intense if you can stand the tingle sensation witch will come! Regardless of stature size weight it is the perfect mix. Beta also brings out the veins in you witch I find great looking. Well worth the money and will definitely buy again. Goes Well With:Beast mode
BA is by far the best supplement I have taken to date, the gains in performance are scary, I usually lift in the higher rep range and where I usually start to fail at 8-9 reps with BA I can easily get 3-4 more. I personally stacked it for a couple of weeks in the 4-5g per day range, now I feel that 2-3g pre work out is fine as after a while it builds up in your system. Yes you do get some tingles which are not bad but not good either if that makes sense, more of an odd feeling for maybe 30 mins. Start with 1g at a time and see what happens for you, everyone has a different level of tolerance to things.Goes Well With:High rep ranges
I am someone that mainly used protein and creatine, with the odd pre-workout supplement (normally bought cheap off a friend who is very picky), for the last year. I tend to think a lot of supplements are either too expensive or overrated, so I stuck to the affordable protein and creatine combination. After doing some research, which I employ everyone should do, and a little wait for the sales, I decided to commit to a bag of Beta Alanine. This amino acid has got research to the point where it is on par with creatine and that means it works and each bag will contain a lot of servings. Research also suggests that it combines really well with creatine, suggesting that it give better results together than having either creatine or beta alanine alone. Beta Alanine has a crystal-like appearance and dissolves easily whether in water or juice. Please though, do not be critical of a supplement or its provider when the "itchy" or "tingly" feeling is absolutely normal for most people as a common side effect. It does not mean the substance is dangerous or of poor quality.Goes Well With:Creatine and preworkout stacks (and use as additional beta alanine to a commercial preworkout - i.e., extra 1.5g to a preworkout scoop that already contains 1.5g).

I've tried lots of various pre workoutS before, but they really affect my sleep pattern as I work shifts. I tried this as an alternative to caffeine based pre workout, and have to say it seems to be having the right effect. Seem to have more energy during my workout and less fatigue. No "crash" after which is a bonus. If you want a great tasting supplement this isn't it, but if you're only taking it because it tastes nice and not for the benefits then there is one question......do you even lift?
As far as taste and mixing goes this works very well. I am not really sure if it has made any difference to my training, probably to early to tell. As far as the itching side effect goes I can't say I have had any reaction what so ever.Goes Well With:Whey, water, juice.
Bought this the other day, packaging says use 4 times a day - I really believe I would be dead/have had killed myself had I followed these instructions. I know that people react differently, maybe it isn't the same for others but 10 minutes after one scoop mixed with water I began to get itchy in the palm of my hands, then on my ears - I know right? Soon I was itchy in various places. It wasn't your regular itch, but felt more like the itch you get when you come inside from the freezing cold to really warm. decent product does whar it says. Gone up in my major lifts since I started using it. I mix it with BCAA tropical to create a pre workout drink.
This product increases my endurance and its tingling effect gives me a little buzz that makes me push more weights. I recommend to give it a try, since not everyone likes its tingling effect.

I've used this product for around 4 months on and off due to down season in my sport, while I used this I noticed a difference in my performance and I liked the tingle it gives, it reassured me that something is working somewhere, however, I have more recently started using it properly at the gym, with great effects as a pre work out long side BCAA 4:1:1, CEE and Taurine, a great combination and I can feel my mental game increase when I feel the tingle now, knowing it's working inside my system. I would always recommend MyProtein's products.

This is an excellent product, it mixes well with pretty much anything, it tended to have a few grams before I worked out with water and a few frames spread throughout the day. The effects are fairly immediate initially there is a slight tingling in your hands and when at the peak of exercise the burn in your muscles is significantly reduced, with even a slight cool sensation in your muscles. This supplement must be part of your stack whether your goal is to build muscle, burn fat or get stronger. Best taken pre- and post workout. It makes your skin feel "tickle" after taken which is normal, gives you fantastic results, no taste at all so can mix it with everything.
