    I used to *love* this product but recently I think the recipe has changed and is simply not as good. The amount of crunchy peanut pieces has decreased and the remaning peanut 'paste' is much stodgier. It also tastes quite different (more bitter and chemically). The product only contains peanuts so I actually thought I had received a faulty product. MP kindly sent a new tub but the result was the same. I was even able to compare the new tub to my old tub and the textures / tastes was quite different. Yes, this is a natural un-modified product so it is fair to expect some variation but quality control was always very good. I have happily munched my way through many previous tubs of MP peanut butter and it has been the best peanut butter I have eaten, being completely natural, with loads of crunchy bits and a great taste. This change seemingly came overnight and was very noticeable. Perhaps the peanuts being used now are lower grade to save money or the processing has changed. I will be buying mine from another well known high street health food shop whose peanut butter is the the same as this used to be and a similar price. Shame, I used to rave about how amazing this peanut butter was.

    this peanut butter is super nice! the tub is huge. i couldent help going to the cuboard and havin a spoon full everytime i went into the kitchen very tasty. i have mine on top of my three weetabix for added calories and protien.. yes there quite alot of fat in it but if your bulking its perfect! just about to order another tub...

    Great Stuff - its cheaper than your local supermarket and its better for you - what else do i need to say! Its easy to use, tastes great - I have it twice a day - 4pm at work on a single slice of brown bread then again at 9pm an hour before bed - it helps stop the hunger in the mornings and also helps to prevent muscle degeneration while you sleep. Taking this amount daily is not going to add tremendous amounts of Fat as well - plus I train 5 days a week, so it is no bother to me, keep the rest of your fat intake low and you'll be fine. The Crunchy one also adds that little something extra the smooth ones doesn't give you (the crunchy bits obviously)

    Great product and is exactly what it says on the tin. I've been making protein bars with this stuff and tastes great. I had a problem with some of my deliveries where the pot had cracked and the peanut butter came out and was a real mess, I got in contact with MP and they sent another tub out and the same thing happened !

    I love this stuff. Great to just scoop out of the tub, or you can mix it in with a protein shake or spread it on some oaty/seedy wholemeal bread. Tastes delicious. But... is it just me, or have MP changed the recipe somewhat? It's less spreadable now and seems a bit drier than it used to be. Having a drink on hand to wash it down is now essential, not just optional. Still a cracking product though.

    Bought the crunchy, which certainly did the job, no aditives, and the tub is so big you won't have to search the supermarket shelves trying to find the best brand anymore. The only drawback i can mention is when you reach the last bit of the tub it suddenly gets very dry, most of the oil seemed to have gone - made it difficult to have on a slice of bread because it wouldn't spread easily or even stick to the bread! This was only the last bit of the tub, otherwise this was a great peanut butter.

    I liked the sound of this - peanuts and no nasties. I bought the smooth - tastes pretty good I think - like some reviews have stated, it's actually nice, just need to remove the thought of sweet rubbish you get in the supermarkets normally. I put a tablespoon full of this into my shakes with True Whey (Cookies and Cream). Tastes great! Works best with the shake in a blender, but works ok with just a few shakes if you don't have a blender to hand. A good way to get the taste and goodness of peanuts in without any other nonsense in there. Will be buying another soon a I don't see it hanging around long!

    Tried lots of brands of peanut butters, (which I like anyway), and was surprised to see this, gotta say, it is excellent, & delicious! I bought it as a supplement but find myself eating it on its own as a snack; so far have eaten half the tub of crunchy on its own :0) 100% delicious, buy some!

    Very easy to mix with a protein shake or a greek yoghurt, but doesn't taste very nice on its own. It tastes like a mix of dirt and peanuts due to the fact that the skin is included (which is a plus when it comes to fibre).

    I was looking for a peanut butter with no additives and this was the only one I found. I use it to make a healthy, oat and seed breakfast bar. Most of the shop bought products have palm oil, sugar and salt in them and even the no sugar varieties have palm oil. I ordered the crunchy tub yesterday and it arrived today and the baking has begun. Fantastic product clean tasting and not clingy and sticky in the mouth and 100% peanuts and made in the UK. Will be ordering more in the future.

    In my country we only get Calvé, processed peanutbutter, thick as hell and filled with sugars. Now i've discovered this all natural peanutbutter im super excited. Here is a recipe i use once a day Take 40grams of protein (choco preferably, total protein is great for this), a good spoon of PB, mix with water until u get a not thick, not watery mixture. Microwave on highest for 1.30 - 2 minutes. Enjoy your dessert treat!

    I bought this along with the almond butter. I used to buy whole earth crunchy and saw this as a good alternative. I blend this up with the almond butter in for my morning shake and it is very nice. I like the taste and texture, but it is nothing like other peanut butter.

    If all you've ever eaten is shop bought commercial peanut butter, be prepared. This is the real deal, just peanuts (in shells) processed to a paste. Read the description above, this is a natural product, the oil seperates, but just stir before using...no problems. It tastes real (gives you that dry gooey peanut butter sensation if ate as is - which I did as soon as I ripped the lid off :-)). Very impressed with this, great price, speedy delivery - what's to dislike? As I say, if you're used to peanut butter with additives, palm oil, sugar and salt, please try this - you won't go back.

    I ordered the smooth kind, but compared to store bought peanut butter it still has small grains (~0,5mm) in it and is very liquid (even after stirring the oil in). It's still a great product though.

    This is excellent stuff, perfect on toast at work in the mornings, got all my colleagues eating the stuff so they had to go get their own pots - hands off mine! The seal MP put on the pots now make the risk of oil leaking in delivery much less, so thumbs up for acting on that.

    I have mixed feelings about this product: pros: Price: great value for money good energy source 100% Peanuts. cons: its not peanut butter, its more like peanut paste... it doesnt spread well on sandwiches, the paste is too rough after a few weeks I had a layer of fat on top, which looked disgusting.

    This is the first 100% peanut butter I had tried. Due to the lack of additives it does need a good stir before using, but taste wise it's great! Much better than any supermarket peanut spreads . I am glad it comes in such a big tub. YUM! I mix a good spoon full into my porrige in the morning, and will be adding some to home made protein flap jacks soon. Overall I'm very pleased with this

    Used to get Whole Earth crunchy which was 97% peanuts but decided to go for this because there was free delivery (making it cheaper than Whole Earth). Went for smooth because crunchy adds a lot of fats/calories. Pleasantly surprised to find that the smooth has little bits of peanuts in it anyway. As for taste, it is different at first but in no way bad and you learn to love it in no time, plus you get the satisfaction that what you are eating is 100% natural which actually results in a good 5g more protein per 100g and a bit less fat. EPIC WIN PS. It is very runny (due to no emulsifiers) and the tub it comes in is not the greatest so I put it into the old Whole Earth jars with the label off and it is much better - my only criticism.

    Ordered this during the free delivery promo stage a few weeks ago. Uncharacteristically took ages to deliver (for those of you out there who are new to MyP- their delivery/cust service is 2nd-2-none!). Do not order this product if you're expecting ANYTHING like supermarket peanut butter, it's nothing like that. It's literally raw skin-on peanuts whizzed up. Great slow-release and EFA source (I have mine as my pre-bed snack). Taste takes a bit of getting used to but I'm really getting into it and you know you're not eating anything bad! Unfortunate poor delivery this time, tastes strange to begin with but getting used to it now....

    Great value for the concentration of peanut butter in an at first arkward container to handle. The stuff kept spilling over the sides until I used some more of it. Great for mixing in with a protein shake. My main issue is taste. Doesn't do it for me. I've cut down a lot of stuff like sugar milk butter and got used to the taste without. This, however, I won't get used to. You can't beat the nice taste from a brands jar. Sorry. Not for me purely based on taste.

    wont be buying this again. its to tatsey. bought a tub and its been hard to make it last 2 weeks. everytime i open the cupboard i get out a teaspoon and grab a load. my girlfriend says to stop whinging as its probably healthier than eating chocolate. although, with a teaspoon full of nutella it gets you ready for old age and those pre chewed marathons lol

    This stuff is amazing! The taste is way better than any of the supermarket brands that are filled with all kinds of nastiness. Sure, the oil separates but a couple of stirs with the knife and it's good to go. Great on wholemeal toast for breakfast, perfect for mid-meal snacks and ideal to mix with protein powder, oats and honey to make your own bars. Love it!

    After the reviews of the packaging, I was a bit nervous opening the box as it looked as if DHL had opened the window and chucked it at my front door while driving past my house, but alas, MP have sorted the packaging issue out. My two pots came sort of shrink wrapped (sometimes it's the simplest ideas that are the most effective). When I opened the first pot it looked rather runny, but this is just where the oils separate (which proves there's no emulsifiers which pleased me). Gave it a stir and it resembled normal shop bought peanut butter, if a little more grainy. Taste wise, it is bang on. I still believe Jesus brought peanut butter with him from heaven when he popped down, and this is up there with my favs! And since it's better for me, two thumbs up! Top marks MP!

    Please excuse the pun when I say this product is the nuts!!! It simply is, No sugar No salt, and cheaper to buy from this site than in supermarkets. You cannot obtain with out fuss or fight peanut better that contains no sugar and salt in supermarkets, its either or all!! and even when you do find somewhere you need a bank loan to buy it!!

    This is a really good peanut butter, I got the smooth one. However, 3 x a day I have one tablespoon of peanut butter as part of my bulk diet and I just got this one, but for the life of me I cannot stomach eating it alone, it really is a horrid taste and texture - perhaps the chunky one is better for eating by itself. The nutritional values are bulletproof though, I stick to my decision of getting it as most other peanut butters use oil and salt as part of the ingredients.

    Great stuff. Tastes good and excellent price. Love the fact that it's peanuts and nothing else. Other brands "with nothing added" always seem to add salt. You need to give it a stir each time you use it as the oil floats to the top because no emulsifiers are added. Small price to pay though. I have a pot at home and a pot at work. Only peanut butter I buy now.

    I got the crunchy tub, great value for what it is and the taste is v good! My pops sometimes sees me wrapping up peanut butter on toast commenting on how nasty it looks (to him) but it's really a great taste with a 1/3rd of its content being pure protein. Even if this wasn't for protein intake I'd still have it regularly!!

    Excellent product, I received it today! I love the fact that it's got no added palm oil, salt or sugar. Makes it lower in fat and higher in protein which is an added bonus. It's not made it taste bad either, still tastes awesome!

    Just received my first tub of smooth. First impressions are that this isn't your normal PB. Looks more like quicksand than peanut butter. The smell though is amazing when you lift the lid. Taste wise....very good. All in all great value for money. Gonna try the Crunchy version next.

    First of all this is a five star product...The Reason I am giving it 4 stars is simply because they have a problem with the packaging.Upon arrival the lid had broken and peanut butter has got all over the inside of the box, shame. After I got ¨over it¨ I tried the product and its perfect.Taste is probably as good as your going to be able to get it without salt and sugar. Value is probably unbeatable. PLEASE sort out the lids on this product,I know you know guys know there is a issue with these lids. Anyway thanks MP for another good money saving product.

    iv been looking for just!! peanut butter for ages, i would love just fruit jam to go with it, i use no sugar jame now and it taste so much better and you get big chunks of real strawberry in it its awesome, but its almost £2 for a small jar, please MP can you get some kind of whole fruit based spread :)

    Finally! A peanut butter at a good price that is made just from peanuts! This is so natural, its a darkish brown due to it being made from peanuts with the skins on. No salty taste, no added sugar. Perfect for making protein flapjacks or adding to a shake. Really pleased with this!

    Great idea, and price! Perfect for Snacking on due to high protein content! Only problem is it doesnt taste like peanut butter. IMO the butter is missing, It just tastes like ground peanut paste. I tried it on toast without butter a few times and thought it tasted strange. But then tried with butter and it tastes perfect! just remember to add the butter!

    Just received mine, generally well packaged as ordered a few other bits too but the tub had come undone slightly so there was a bit of leakage. Admittedly it does look like something that comes out of you rather than goes in but i have to admit its delicious, especially on wholemeal toast (crunchy).     I use MP for all my supplements and have never been disappointed with any until now. For price this is good value (1kg for £5) but the taste is awful. I am very particular about my diet and eat certain foods I don't necessarily like in order for performance and essential nutrients. However, MP peanut butter Very disappointed but this is my opinion only.

    To the person above, yes, we do want it by the kilo. I consume this stuff like it's going out of fashion. Ordered it on Monday, received it today. Very impressed. The peanuts don't seem to be blanched, the texture is very nice, and the taste is 'peanutty', for want of a better word. It's much stronger in taste than my previous peanut butter (Whole earth), which isn't a bad thing!

    I got this today via the usual super fast MP dellivery you'd expect, really nice texture & propper peanuty taste at a really reasonable price. My only grip is the polyfiller type container which it comes in which has a weird peel of lid which makes getting the product out a messy business, also mine came slightly ajar in transit with a bit of leakage - so to conclude, excellent product, but please re-think the container!.

    I bought the crunchy version on Thurday and (as usual it was a super fast delivery, it turned up on Friday. A lot of other companies could learn a lot from you guys and DPD) at first glance it looks pretty disgusting almost like something you'd clean up after a puppy! But after trying it today I'll never buy another brand of peanut butter again. This stuff tastes amazing. And at less than a fiver for a Kilo... what a bargain!
