I had been taking the super omega 3 capsules but decided to take the plunge with the liquid due to the higher content of epa and dha per serving.I highly recommend this product the taste is barely noticeable and if put in a small drop of milk tastes and smells like strawberry milkshake or just wash down with a glass of water.drop for drop this is the best way to take higher amounts of omega 3.

sliced bread aint got nothing on this. Its brilliant. No fishy taste or scent just a hint of strawberry after taste with no need for any drink as a follow up. Adding to a shake 15 - 20ml may give a slight strawberry hint but nothing bad at all. I just spoon it.

The reviews below are quite wrong about the taste, its not that bad and goes if mixed with a shake. when taken on its own i just recommend a glass of water by your side to drink straight away. brilliant product as all joint clciks have now gone :) .

I've ordered plenty of these and I'm yet to experience a batch that tasted 'horrible'. Perhaps my taste buds are a bit dull. There is a slight hint of strawberry, but otherwise it's relatively flavourless. It's a tiny bit fishy, but then - it's fish oil. That's to be expected. It's 'low odour', not 'no odour'. Anyone expecting a delicious snack will be disappointed. However, anyone who wants a perfectly harmless, high quality fish oil that gives them unrivalled EPA and DHA levels for the money will be entirely satisfied.

Good quality oil but it tastes horrible! something in between fish and strawberry... If mixed in a protein shake it mixes well and the flavour fades at least.

The taste: absolutely "swalloable". i was getting quite anxious about the lemon flavor, but the first though i had whe finished to sip it down was" aldready ended?" and i took a 15ml scoop, which provides roughly 2.5gr of Omega-3.

I hate fish. Haven't touched it in 30 years. Even I can manage this. Great price and quality. Wash down with a mouthful of coffee if you think it tastes that bad, which it doesn't.

I have tried this once and it tasted revolting - absolutely no strawberry taste at all, just pure fish. Surely it can taste better than this?

Very good fish oil. Has high levels of EPA and DHA. Much better value than anything else I can find. Goes down very well because of mildness and the strawberry helps. Some people have said its not a strawberry flavour which is kind of true but smell is a large part of what makes up taste.

This stuff is excellent. There's virtually no taste - just a hint of fish and a slight strawberry aftertaste. It really is minimal though so I'm surprised that there are a few people complaining in the reviews. It basically tastes like almost flavourless olive oil. I've not tasted a better odourless fish oil. Great value too! If you are in any way worried this might taste bad then buy the small bottle, man-up and try a teaspoon full of it!

Despite the fact that this is easily the best value product for Omega 3 available, having read the reviews on here, it was with some trepidation that I decided to purchase. Very pleasently surprised. Smell and taste is totally masked by the strawberry, and no fishy aftertaste. Will definitely purchase again.

Yep tastes bad alright, i find pinching my nose helps when consuming! great product though and with the long list of benefits fish oils have on our lives i think a little pain in worth it. After all anything that is good for rarely tastes good !

There are some EXTREMELY lucky folks round here, that's all I can say! STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR...?! WHAT STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR!!! I tried flavouring it myself with flavoured stevia, but of course it doesn't mix with the oil! I do have to say there are some wimps here though - I thought BB'ers were all meant to be hard...?! I take 20ml daily (in one shot) knock it back, badda-bing, badda-boom, job done! Could someone tell me how to get the smell out of my bedroom carpet/bedlinen...? I dropped a shot this morning and the smell hasn't come out in the wash (nor has the oil stain - AND I used Vanish!) and Oust Carpet has failed to remove it from the floor, damnit!) it's my favourite duvet cover, too! (would have to be, wouldn't it...?!)

This stuff tastes horrible! I read some reviews and took a chance on it, but must have got a batch which didn't get much flavour, not even a hint of strawberry. I have to take it with a mouthful of fruit juice to take the taste away. In terms of quality, its a high spec product - but the flavouring (or lack thereof) is a real let down.

At £7.99 per 500ml, its the cheapest way to get your daily EPA/DHA. Smells of strawberries and has no taste what so ever which is fantastic. Excellent product.

No taste of strawberry in my batch, just that fresh fish smell. Not pleasant but you get more nutritional value in the liquid than the pills and it is worth it at the end of the day

I have quite a strong stomach when it comes to supplements. As a hardgainer I have knocked back virtually everything under the sun at some point. However, my first spoonful of this was the closest I have ever come to puking. I have to admit, I suppose in hindsight they are really going to struggle to mask the taste of this oil, but I thought I'd at least be able to taste Strawberry a little bit. This might as well have not been flavoured at all. I will start mixing this in some fruit juice to take away the taste. Just be warned before you buy, this just tastes like fishy oil, it's not going to taste like lovely strawberries!

This stuff isn't exactly haute cuisine, but then it's not meant to be. The strawberry flavour is really just a smell, and just to help to get it up to your mouth! Since starting to use this about a week ago, I'm feeling much better in general, and a lot less soreness after training. I've also noticed my skin beginning to clear up (a pleasant side effect) and I will probably continue to use this for the foreseeable future. Also MUCH better value and strength than Boot's fish oil or other capsules. The mild unpleasantness of doing shots of fish oil is far outweighed by the benefits of this product. I would recommend.

I've received lots of 500ml bottles over the past year. I'm not disappointed with taste (as this is fish oil and why should taste good), but consistency is not entirely there as i've had some bottles that taste extremely sweet (to much strawberry flavouring) and some that taste like no sweetener has been added at all. Its good to see you have added some information about contamination and how the product is made etc, but what exactly does 0.1ppm mean in layman's terms? as we are not all chemists. All fish is from the wild?, well of course your going to say that, wheres the evidence. This product works well and reduces inflammation and joint pain i have. It is great value for money (if indeed it is made with as much care as you make it sound like), especially when you have bulk discount, since its been removed i'll definitely be purchasing less of this product and looking for alternatives. Although slightly off-topic, i've had a fair few deliveries from MP and the dispatch and delivery has been extremely quick and of the highest quality.

Fish oil needs no further hyping, this is excellent fish oil, the amount of EPA/DHA per serving is excellent and each serving is extremely cheap. This works out to be absolutely phenomenal value - a must buy.

I have to say I first just started taking this by adding it to my morning shakes, a cap-full, just once a day, this limited me to having only strawberry shakes in a morning, the taste was fine, but after a while the taste started getting alot more fishy and now I don't add it to my shakes as it ruins them, I jus have a tea spoon in a morning and make sure I have something to drink after... I have however noticed alot of veins appearing which I've been told is good... I've also just bought some 3-6-9's tablets though as I doubt I'll be orderin this again, although I do want to as it's quite convenient... as my title says, undecided...

From the other reviews it appears that there is a lack of consistency in the production process!\n\nMine hardly had any strawberry flavour and hence it was like drinking straight fish oil!!!!!!

Good price, high in EPA and DHA and it doesn't tastes bad at all.\n\nI was a bit surprised about the taste, because most of the strawberry flavored stuff (WHEY, ety.) I tried was really awful, but this oil tastes quite good.

Was expecting this to taste bad biased on other reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised by how easy this stuff is to get down. The strawberry flavouring smells stronger than it tastes... the oil has a very subtle flavour.\n\nFantastic value for money. One little 5ml spoonful is equivalent to 4 & half of the high street brand gel caps I was using before.

I really do believe after tasting this (used the small glass bottle size) that everyone else that complained must have recieved a bad batch or the manufacturers sorted out the flavour. The strawberry taste is really weak tastes more of fish oil with a slight aftertaste but nothing bitter or difficult to swallow at all. The EPA/DHA are nice and high, has a low metal count. I also keep mine in the fridge which might help stop what other reviewers are complaining about. Just wish they had the 500ml one in glass as it can help protect the oil also the reason why i gave it 4.5 stars.

I add three 5ml teaspoons of this to my breakfast shake to make sure I get my daily EFAs. You can't taste it in there, which is fortunate as it's bloody awful on it's own! I think the feeble hint of strawberry flavour actually makes it worse! If it could be made even cheaper by taking out the flavouring I'd definitely be in favour of that!

I bought the big bottle, and it is unbelievalbe value for money, and makes getting large doses of omega 3 very practical (i used 2 tablespoons daily to get my omega 3: omega 6 ratio 1:1).\n\nDownsides:\n\n1) The flavouring is nasty and bitter. Plain, unflavoured would be fine (well, it is in other unflavoured brands i have used)\n\n2) As requested in the previous review, more information about contaminant levels would be gratefuly recieved and reassuring for such an exceptional value-for-money product.\n\n3) Ditch the plastic bottle in the larger version. I dont like plastics, as they can leech into the oil ,esp. during the packaging process where the bottle can be exposed to high heats, or when sat in warm warehouses. I would pay an extra 50p or so for a glass bottle, like the smaller version.

This is great value oil in terms of the EPA/DHA you get for your money. But without more specific information on the levels of PCBs etc we have no way of knowing how healthy it really is. Some firms publish results of independent test. I'd be happier if MP did this since so much fish oil is contaminated these days.\n\nThe taste isn't amazing. You get a hint of strawberry initially but then you get the rank old oil flavour. Not sure if this means the oil is old or just how it should be.
