N Acetyl L Cysteine (NAC) is a modified form of cysteine which has been attached to an acetyl group. NAC has been shown to increase levels of the antioxidant glutathione which can be used to help reduce cell damage, speed recovery from injury and aid lean growth. By reducing cell damage, NAC has been linked with slowing the ageing process.

N Acetyl L Cysteine is particularly popular amongst those who perform high intensity and endurance based sports due to the fact that it can help reduce muscle damage and promote a healthy immune system.

Further to NAC's ability as an antioxidant, it is also widely used by those looking to maintain or build lean mass. It has been shown to help reduce fatigue during exercise.

Suggested Use

As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 500mg, 1 to 3 times daily.

Add 1 and a half MP mini scoops (500mg) to your preferred amount of water or fruit juice and consume immediately.

    I agree with all the reviews here, and find it excellent value for money and effectiveness. However, again after having read many medical papers, I supplement this with Silymarin (Milk Thistle) at a rate of 1ml liquid form in a little water 3 times a day, since NAC is known to cause Liver dysfunction in some people and Silymarin guards against that.

    Forget about vitamin c, NAC is THE most important antioxidant you can supplement with. It is used routinely in hospitals to treat liver poisoning because it is so good at detoxifying the liver, which is great if you have had a heavy night on the booze, or you are using oral AAS / PH's. It also is a potent brain antioxidant, and been shown to neutralise the neurotoxin salsolinol found in stuff like chocolate which has been linked to Alzheimers. It tastes fine and mixes easily.

    An excellent product, NAC supplementation increases glutathione, an important antioxidant and has benefits for the immune system.\n\nComes as a pungent smelling heavy crystalline powder, you won't notice much physically when supplementing with NAC, but can rest assured that it is working to keep you healthy in the background.
