Total Milk & Whey combines Milk Protein Concentrate and Whey Protein Isolate to provide one fantastic blend ideal for consumption in-between meals or before bed.
Using the highest quality cold processed sources of slow and fast absorbing protein sources, Milk Protein and Whey Isolate respectively, providing the ideal protein blend for fast and slow protein release. The slow release action of the Milk Protein provides a prolonged source of amino acids to inhibit tissue breakdown, whilst the fast release action of the Whey Isolate promotes lean growth through its instant supply of amino acids. Blending these two fantastic protein sources provides a superior amino acid profile and ensures you have an ideal supply of nutrients for both recovery and growth.
With over 86 grams of protein per 100 grams, Total Milk & Whey is very high in protein and very low in carbohydrates and fat. The ratio of Milk Protein and Whey Isolate has been standardised to 60:40, respectively, so you know exactly how much of each protein source you receive per serving. Both protein sources are renowned for their great taste and instant mixing making Total Milk & Whey a pleasurable, fantastic value and nutritionally beneficial sports supplement.

lovely milky taste
- (18 / Nov / 2013)
I got the unflavoured one. It is a great non sweet taste, surprising at first as I am used to the overly sweet flavours of most protein shakes, but I got used to the flavour quickly. Very creamy so is great with water, I have never liked other protein shakes without using half milk and half water, but this one is great with just water. Would recommend.Goes Well With:Mixed half and half with a chocolate protein shake, makes it milky and sweet.
Total Milk & Whey (mint chocolate)

The product was fairly priced, arrived earlier than I expected, has a great taste and it's really easy to mix. The only way I could've been more impressed was if I'd have had two for the price of one! 10/10!!Goes Well With:Skimmed milk and 2 raw egg whites per 50g serving.
- (04 / Nov / 2013)
This is the first time I have used MP and have to say was really impressed with how quickly my order was processed!
This is a nice tasting product (I ordered vanilla) and mixes really well, no lumps or bits! The only thing I would say is to only mix with 150-200ml of water! 300ml as suggested is far too watery! I also mixed this with some oats and worked really well!
I am also beginning to see the affects after 10 days although its early days at the moment to give a true rating on this!Goes Well With:Oats

If your after a sold protein source this hits the spot and at great value for money as well. If your diet is dialed in adding Total Milk fills any gaps when you need to get your daily protein in. As a more mature bodybuilder I have noticed more solid gains since taking Total Milk. Will be staying with this product for next while.
Goes Well With:BCAA
- (10 / Oct / 2013)
Unfortunately the Total Milk and Whey is the worst mix ever for me. I found that the powder sticks to the blender and to my teeth so it doesn't feel like you are drinking. I also couldn't tell you what flavour I got, because there is no taste, and this is my least favourite product from MyProtein.
- (30 / Sep / 2013)
Great tasting product, only been using for one week so can't comment really on effectiveness. Great delivery speed, cant fault.
Goes Well With:oats
- (26 / Sep / 2013)
Been consuming different types of whey protein for a while and decided to mix things up. This protein was not a good idea. Tastes nice (chocolate smooth) but is very grainy when mixed in a mixer bottle (with milk)
Coming from Whey (impact & isolate) I was very shocked at how bad this mixed with milk or water. Possibly could mix better in a blender with added fruits and powders etc.. but to be honest I wont be ordering this again to try.
The best idea is if you are going to try this to order the 30G single sachets can be found.
Total milk an whey

Choc mint tastes good. However, it could mix a bit better in my opinion. Overall good results and it is pretty filling too. Goes Well With:Water
- (26 / Jul / 2013)
I've tried numerous proteins over my time training. I definitely love vanilla flavour, it's by far the truest flavour to taste out of all the flavours. It's not artificial at all and tastes gorgeous!
I usually bought impact whey protein but decided to try this out, I liked the sound of the mix of fast and slow release proteins. I do notice that it keeps me a little fuller than the basic whey on its own.
I mix my 30-40g scoop of protein with 50-60g Myprotein oats and about 10g ground almonds with s/skimmed milk and it's a cheap, easy and nutritious meal replacement shake to supplement my daily meals. The protein and oats, lasts me about a month and a half, it's ideal!Goes Well With:Alpha Men and Omega 3
- (01 / Jul / 2013)
Total Milk and Whey is a good product with a nice taste! You could easily add it to many food stuffs. The only issue I find with this product is if you add too much to your shake when you're feeling like an extra dose, for example to keep you going before your next meal, it becomes quite stodgy, sticky and maybe a little slimy. It's not a bad product though.
- (29 / Jun / 2013)
I can't recommend Total Milk and Whey enough, okay so it may be a bit gritty (come on, if you can handle a good workout, you can handle a bit of texture) but it mixes lump free easily and the strawberry and cream flavour is the bomb. I would recommend mixing it with milk.
It has a nice protein level with low calories and fat, and the bonus is you don't need to buy a separate casein bedtime product as this powder has that covered.
Though the price may seem a bit steep, when you accept that you basically have two products in one (slow and quick release), it's not so bad.Goes Well With:any other supplement
- (27 / May / 2013)
I'm a little disappointed with this Total Milk and Whey. It's grainy, doesn't go well with water and it's hard to swallow. Taste is fine, plenty if mint! I won't be going for this one again. Goes Well With:Patience
- (23 / May / 2013)
This Total Milk and Whey blend is perfect the 60/40 casein to whey split is effective if like me you like a small workout before bed, gives you the protein overnight and helps increase size dramatically, plus it tastes delicious! Careful if stacking with creatine or glutamine, tastes weird but that's probably due to the milk. With water stacking is fine. I got vanilla and can't rate it highly enough, I have had the actual casein protein off here and that does not mix well and tastes chalky this is awesome, buy this! Goes Well With:Milk
- (07 / May / 2013)
Total Milk and Whey is a great product.
- (09 / Apr / 2013)
The Total Milk and Whey is brilliant, one of the only powders I've actually seen some gains with. I use it 3 times a day: morning noon and evening, get a hit of protein after drinking it then a slow release from then on. Would definitely recommend.Goes Well With:Hard training and good diet.
- (19 / Mar / 2013)
This is an excellent product and I have recommended it to many people.I would like to buy a great deal more of it but the price is a little high.Goes Well With:Banana, ice cream, apples

"So im struggling to understand why everyone is bothered about the taste of this product as it is for purely nutritional purposes anyway, I don't see why it should taste amazing, but whilst im on the subject it tastes fine both with water & milk completely palatable & when stirred first & shaken afterwards blends nicely & is smooth & easy to drink. I am still waiting a few more weeks to see if I notice any difference in strength & size ill let you all know ASAP :D Overall V.good product.. "
- (09 / Apr / 2012)
a good protein blend slow and fast absorbed protein can also be taken before bed i also add egg whites which gives medium release of protein shame about the price when you can get 5kg nutrisport 90+ for £44 with free delivery
- (07 / Apr / 2012)
"This is the second protein supplement that Ive used and the straweberry cream flavour tastes great. I was looking for a simple, nothing-but protein suppliment and this one workes great for me. Ive only been using it for about a month and it seems to be helping my muscles build and recover very well"
- (27 / Sep / 2011)
Started using this after a lengthy spell without using any protein product. I found that it mixes ok it goes a little frothy in the shaker but you can still drink it fine regardless. I had the Strawberry and Cream flavour which tasted great. As for results i am very happy with what i achieved whilst using this product. I have now started on the impact whey isolate to continue with lean mass development.
- (10 / Jun / 2011)
Mixes fine. a bit of a powdery tast but that is to be expected with the milk protein. Chocolate flavour could do with a touch more cocoa powder.
- (02 / Jun / 2011)
"Previously I had just been using Impact Whey which mixed great and worked fine. I decided to purchase Total Milk and Whey for my next batch and I find it just isn't as good in mix-ability and taste, even with shaking for a good 5 minutes it remains gritty in texture. I am yet to notice the effects but I'm sure it will be similar to Impact Whey but better with the addition of the slow release Milk protein. Of course, the protein source is more important than taste, but next time I shall go back to Impact Whey."
- (12 / May / 2011)
"I have been impressed with this product, have the vanilla. Taste is pretty good, best with milk imo. Does foam a bit with shaking but settles fairly quick and don't loose any of the shake."
- (09 / Mar / 2011)
"Although I am a myprotein fan and am quite impressed with their product range this one was not quite up to the standards at least in the taste department. I just got myself the strawberry cream flavour and is not so good and the worst part is the foam, more than half of my shaker was foam when i mixed it with a decent amount of water, if i added less water it would not mix properly. I wouldn't doubt the effectiveness though!"
- (05 / Jan / 2011)
"Foams if you add to much water. I mixed it with 200-250ml of cold water which solved the foaming. It makes it a bit thicker but a nice flavour and consistency (vanilla) Used it with CEE and Green Tea Extract, trained hard and lost 15kg fat. All thanks to this. Highly recommend. Now I'm on Hurricane. "
- (30 / Oct / 2010)
Previous batches have been more granular; easier to scoop and mix. The last batch was much more finely ground and whilst it does mix ok in a shaker it is prone to cake a bit and harder to scoop - please go back to the original form...
- (05 / Oct / 2010)
"This is one of the better protein supplements i've tried, mixes easily and tasted very good. My only fault with this was the balance of milk to whey proteins. I would have preferred more whey to milk, however I had half a tub of whey protein purchased from a local supps store and added a scoop of that to my portion of milk & whey after each workout and I really felt the difference."
- (15 / Sep / 2010)
"For the first time ever i decided to go with another flavour rather than Vanilla and i chose smooth Chocolate. A good choice!! The chocolate flavour is pretty damn good. Its taken me a few trials to get the right water/powder ratio to get the best taste and i'm currently at 2 scoops & fill water to just over the 300ml line. Shake and enjoy. Not a huge amount of liquid after a workout but just enough to keep the shake tasty and not too runny. Also a small tsp of caster sugar (Carbs!) really gives it a nice sweet taste. Mixes brilliantly, tastes, great, and great value."
- (03 / Aug / 2010)
"Does what it says on the ti...bag. Being a big guy I need a big protein hit each day and this was my std protein supply each day, without breaking the bank."
- (07 / Jul / 2010)
"I read few a number of existing reviews and noticed people commenting on 'foaming'. I really found no foaming issues that were different from using Hurricane XS, Total Impact, True Whey etc... I think its just when you mix any protein shake with milk, shake it, it will foam, as expected. Total Milk and Whey has been good so far. No bloating. And best of all high protein content, so don't have to use as many scoops - although I still do. More protein for your £££."
- (08 / Jun / 2010)
"Well its a nice protein supplement... but its creates lots of foam. half the liquid turns into foam but hey, its milk+whey protein :)"
Excellent but why the change in ingredients
- (17 / Apr / 2010)
"I have used this in vanilla and its a solid product. Little dissapointed as it seems the ingredients have changed (whey iso to whey concentrate, milk protein iso to milk concentrate) but price has remained the same - overall though love myprotein and quality is undoubted"
- (16 / Apr / 2010)
Again MP - honesty appreciated in a world of smoke and mirrors to confuse people into thinking they need certain supplements.\nTaste - fine - nice strawberry.\nTexture - slightly grainy but to be expected.\nAfters - gut takes a bit to accept it - but more is not better.\nPrice - Excellent\nDelivery - Excellent
- (14 / Jan / 2010)
"Ok, now i can honestly say the stuff works well. After all you're getting a quick fix and a slow release protein all in one. But the stuff is absolute vile. Take my word for it, pay the extra few quid and get the MP Max range Total Protein much much better stuff"
- (21 / Oct / 2009)
I ordered unflavoured and in the past I have had samples of chocolate and vanilla. I mixed the flavoured versions with milk and ultra fine oats and it tasted great. I use the unflavoured one (I only use unflavoured powders now - no digestion issues or wind) at random times in the day when i feel the need to boost my protein intake.
Great product/value (poor flavouring)
- (21 / Sep / 2009)
"As Total Protein XS (choc mint) was out of stock, i bought this, to mix with egg white powder. On its own, this tastes foul, with an overpowering mint taste, like a bad mouthwash. Adding the egg white actually dulls this. Supriseing, as every other flavour, of every different protein product from MP has always been superb. Dont know if this was from a bad batch."
Not as nice as MP Max choc mint
- (04 / Aug / 2009)
Crap taste compared to MP Max range choc mint.
choc mint is great
- (15 / Jul / 2009)
"after having the strawberry flavour and commenting on the texture the choc mint which i have now is much less powdery. when shaken , left for a couple of mins and re shaken its lovely"
- (19 / Jun / 2009)
"just recieved today and first impressions are that the strawberry is quite nice, certainly not the worst, but the texture is certainly..fluffy. by this i mean its kind of a powdery, bitty feel in your mouth but nothing too bad. just a shock after changing from whey blend."
Thinking about buying
- (01 / Jun / 2009)
I was thinking of buying this mr weston are you still looking to sell yours ? Plus is this product worth buying
- (03 / Feb / 2009)
"Can't really rate this at the moment as ive only been taking this for two days. I agree it does have a "fluffy" taste to it, and its not a very nice tasting shake, but hopefully that means the results will be better"
- (11 / Dec / 2008)
"Great product, has helped me make large gains. Nice and cheap too. Chocolate tastes good."
"Good product, not for me"
- (11 / Nov / 2008)
"In terms of taste, this product is fairly standard for a shake, pallatable, but not what you would call nice. The MP Max shakes are the only ones I've ever had that you would actually drink for anything other than purely nutrition. It mixes really well and even when blending with a fork I've had no problems.\n\nHowever I have had 60g of this 3 times and it has resulted in stomach cramps and nastier side effects, so I've got a couple of kilos going if anyone wants it!"
- (10 / Oct / 2008)
"A cheaper version of bedtime extreme I suppose, although I take it at any time. Taste is good, although the milk protein makes the shake a little 'fluffy' tasting. This is obviously an indication of the levels of high quality ingredients though. Good stuff."
