This protein meal is a great tasting chicken casserole dish which combines lean diced chicken with potatoes, onions, carrots, peas, green beans, lentils, cauliflower, herbs and seasoning.

This Chicken Casserole is a tasty and convenient meal which boasts over 34g of protein, a low fat content and a source of high fibre. The high protein content of this meal will contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. Reduced fat content will contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
Who are Protein Meals Suitable for?
These nutritionally balanced meals have been designed specifically for those who lead an energetic lifestyle and enjoy great tasting food, high in nutrients which require little fuss or preparation. Ready to eat in just 8 minutes, they are ideal for use straight after exercise or as an easy to prepare meal.
Open the pack at the tear notch. Remove and discard the oxygen absorber sachet from the pouch. Carefully add 350ml of boiling water to the pouch. Stir thoroughly and close the re-sealable zipper. Allow to stand for 8-9 minutes. Stir and add seasoning as required and serve from the pouch. Warning: pouch will be hot when boiling water is added.

Besides the Chicken and Vegetable Pasta, this is the other flavour that I prefer. The difference between this flavour and the Chicken and Vegetable Pasta is that this one is non-spicy (does not contain chili bits like the previous). Here is my brief review of the other flavours: Teriyaki (too salty), Tikka (coconut milk taste overpowering). Nevertheless, these are a great way to have a hot meal when time is short to prepare one and yet keep the meal within a healthy macro-nutritional profile.
Some other rater said it tasted mushy - the issue is not to stir it too much - stir it to get the hot water mixed with the contents evenly but just! It is not like you are stirring to mix your whey protein powder.
TIP: After waiting the required minutes, pour the contents into a bowl and add more hot water to obtain the consistency that you desire.Goes Well With:A glass of sugar-free Cola!

Good quality product, fat-protein ratio is good, extremely filling & great taste to boot. All my colleagues have bought some after trying mine, all i will say is that you need more than 250-300ml of water to make it work, especially if your like me and like your pot noodle swimming. Going away skiing this Xmas and wanted something handy and quick to bring to keep the cost down. Ordered one to try out taste and overall is very good just needs a bit of extra seasoning to be added which is simple enough. Overall good taste considering it is instant and the low price. Definite good buy.

They key in any meal plan for me is preparation. I work away usually once a week and this is always the hardest day to organise my nutrition. If I don't prepare and end up having to eat in services I just get irritated and my nutrition suffers. I thought I would try a couple of these Protein Meals to see what they were like. I didn't have any measuring device so I had to guess the water content - it would be nice to see a line on the inside of the packaging or something. Overall though, I was pleasantly surprised. Of course it's not a replacement for a real, fresh meal, but if you are on the go or have little time and have access to hot water then these are ideal. I've ordered more since.

I saw these Protein Meals and thought I'd give them a go, reluctantly. They were actually much better than I thought, flavour is slightly lacking but add a bit of chilli and other seasoning and you're away. They're very easy to prepare, which is great if you're strapped for time or just can't cook...Goes Well With:Chili

I thought these Protein Meals were an excellent buy. The price made me think they would be hit and miss, but I had it for a snack after a workout and it filled me up a treat. All the ingredients are things you actually know so you trust them. The taste is great,so I think I may have to invest in some more.

For a freeze dried meal this is awesome.
Great tasting and really easy to mix. If it's not to your taste then just add a pinch of pepper as this helps.
Pouch is very hot though so be careful.

It was so easy to prepare, and when you know how much protein you're getting you don't have to concentrate so much. It's always a hassle making sure you're getting the right amount of protein in daily, but this is a really solution. I have a pretty busy lifestyle so it was great not having to prepare my food in advance, 10 minutes and I'm laughing!
The food tastes great and doesn't taste at all like one of those terrible microwave meals from a supermarket.
In terms of effectiveness you can't really tell any difference, it's not magic food, but once you've eaten it you know you've had a good meal and that's what counts. Eat clean and you'll see results, and this is a good option for those wanting to eat clean but don't have the time to prepare anything. Goes Well With:My Protein Diet Whey

For what this is it is tasty and very easy to make up. Ideal for hiking or camping as it is lightweight. Good calories/protein/carb ratio. Will be a regular part of my hiking equipment.

The Protein Meals are very easy to prepare and taste very similar to some hiking meals I use. The Chicken Casserole has a savoury taste but not chicken, whilst the chicken and vegetable pasta tastes exactly the same, albeit with a slightly more spicy kick.
These points aside, they are actually quite nice but don't put the hunger pangs at bay for long. They are more of a snack than a meal.
However, they are quite lightweight (thanks to being dried) so for camping or hiking all you need to do is to boil some water and you have a tasty bit of food.
Once again, MyProtein is coming out with some interesting sports foods.

"I like most of the new Protein Meal products and think its a fantastic idea. I have a new job that makes it very difficult to get much of a lunch break, and these meals really help to get a nutritious, hot, tasty meal down your neck with very little prep. I particularly like this Myprotein Protein Meal - Chicken Casserole for two reasons: a) The ingredients list is very simple and wholesome. Apart from a little rapeseed oil (which i personally would like to see replaced with palm oil or olive oil), the ingredients seem all-natural. b) The protein content is much better and ideal compared to the other meals. The other meals should be boosted in protein content to somewhere around the same levels as the chicken casserole if possible. My only gripe is the price is pretty high, and a similar priced meal could be gotten from my canteen (if i had the time to go there) .These will be a staple for me"
