The taste and texture of the cookie on its own was not as expected and I didn't enjoy it. I did however microwave part and have it with cottage cheese, which was really good. But on its own not great - I've had better tasting protein 'treats'. Feel like I didn't get my value for money.

The nutritional value of these babies is excellent with 35+ Grams of protein per cookie. They are also quite high in calories (300+) so are useful if you're bulking. They travel well if you're looking for some thing to keep in work drawer or training bag. Just be aware that it's not a cookie in real terms. It goes well with a hot drink and tastes better than a lot of bars and and sports snacks but it's no replacement for a real cookie. But then real cookies don't give you the nutrition. A good product but taste is average.
Absolutely love these! They taste great and packed full of protein.
Was a little sceptical, since whenever I've mentioned protein cookies most peoples response is that they have either a dodgy texture or weird flavour. Was happily surprised when I took a bit of this protein cookie. It DOES have a slightly protein-y texture - but not in a bad way. I thought it was chewy and delicious :)Goes Well With:n/a (I personally enjoyed mine with a glass of water watching a movie!)
Wasn't sure about these at first when I viewed them online but bought a pack of the Chocolate Orange ones. They're very tasty, although quite thick and stodgy, more like a thick gooey brownie than a cookie. Would buy again, very tasty!
Personal preferences on this cookie is that the taste isn't too great! Has that sort of artificial taste to it, but other than that the macros are ideal and great for a protein boost after a hard workout!
I bought this to try. I was pleased with the size and texture. It does not break down too easy in your mouth, and is very filling. Perfect for on the go. I got send the mint flavour which was ok, would like to try other flavours Goes Well With:Water
I stumbled across these by chance but I am glad I did . This cookie packs a lot of protein, they are ideal for me to snack on when I'm on the move or at home with a shake They are great calorie topper or macro filler Secret Is 10 -15 seconds in the microwave just to soften them up ;)
These cookies taste great, I was a bit skeptical trying these but will definitely be buying more, really chocolaty. Can't really say ho effective they were but tasted great and kept me going on my mountain cycle. Would recommend!

Texture was good, as near to a real soft cookie but without the guilt! I think all protein products such as these always have a slight gritty sandy texture to them but i think this was minimal to what Ive tried from other brands in the past. Goes well with my protein peanut butter, heat in the microwave for 10-20 secs and it becomes like a hot sticky brownie, yum!
Great snack between meals or to have before going to the gym . Very good choclatley flavour Goes Well With:On its own

These are great! Whenever I have tried to make some protein based snack or desert I have always fallen short on the taste! But these.... The double chocolate is my preference, good texture and taste great! Sweet enough to feel like a cheat, but of course with 37.5g of protein they are far from it!
Bought the White Chocolate Almond one: texture is chewy enough and keeps me really full; but I find the marzipan taste way too powering. Would be great if the after-taste isn't that bad.Goes Well With:itself
Nice cookie. Anything similar low carb. I generally but quest bars - no acsulfemate K or Aspartame!

This protein cookie tastes good as soon as you bite it but then it feels as if you are chewing on protein powder. It may give you enough protein before an exercise but I wasn't able to eat more than a third of it.
Taste is pretty nice (White choc+almond) though a little gritty. Texture for me was just like playdough making not entirely unpleasant but just not quite right for a cookie. Still a great on the go snack for those looking for a sweet protein fix
This has got to be the nicest tasting protein cookie I've ever tasted. Very convenient, cost effective and packed with protein for a on the go lifestyle!! I can't fault it, highly recommended!! Yummy!!!
These cookies are absolutely amazing, they're packed with proteins and have a pretty decent taste. Personally I didn't like the chocolate orange or the chocolate mint...But the double chocolate and the white chocolate with almond tastes really good to me. They also really helped with suppressing my appetite which is good if you're on a diet, but it does contain lots of calories, so I would recommend it for my fellow beasts when on their BULKS! :D
Bought this to take along with me to uni on days I didn't want to bother with my shaker and whey powder. It tastes great and is a welcome change to a shake. Especially if your feeling extra peckish!. A little costly but only as much as other bars and foods on the market in general. Buy some!Goes Well With:hunger for protein
great for a snack, had it stored for a couple months before i used and still the quality remained.
I would a sample of this to try and will definitely be repurchasing as they taste delicious and have a huge amount of protein. It's nice to find a protein cookie which is wheat free. It's quite high in calories so I would only have it every now and then if I was on the go and needed something quick.
I tried both the Chocolate Mint (my favourite) and Cholcoate Orange flavours and both were really nice. The cookie was soft and chewy and quite large (if quite calorific!). A nice way of getting some protein in an afternoon snack.Goes Well With:As a snack.
the cookie looks good and tastes ok, but i just felt weird indigestion after eating it. Perhaps one of the ingredients didnt agree with me. I had just completed a show at the time, and thought that this would be a healthy post-show choc craving crusher.. but didnt enjoy it. ah well... plenty more out there :)
Bought the sample, always like to try before committing to a whole box - simply great. Great taste, easy way to up protein intakeGoes Well With:everything
Really tasty snack. I used it after my workout, and It really helped my recovery. I will recommend it.
The chocolate chip cookie tastes great, textures really good too, better than a regular cookie and was ideal post long run as high protein snack. The white almond cookie doesn't taste so great and was like eating a block of marzipan.
I managed to get my hands on one of these bad boys as a sample last month. Needless to say the moment it came I was stunned, it felt like a freshly cooked cookie straight from the oven and I really could not contain my excitement to taste it. I managed to prevent myself from eating for a whole day and used it post-work out the following day and with 37.5g of protein, you really can't go wrong. It's easy to eat and packed full of everything you need. The only issue I found was with the mint flavour, it tasted like Rennie gels. Really bad Rennie gels. I have to admit, I was pretty shocked not only by the taste but it almost had a chalky texture while eating it. This is the only set back and I'd love to try the other flavours, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a quick bite on the go or something to get some protein into you after a good work out, just not the mint flavour.Goes Well With:Hurricane XS
Tasted amazing! Satisfied all my cravings for something sweet, would definitely recommend and will be ordering again soon! Goes Well With:Protein dessert
This cookie is no1! Amazing taste for the high amount of protein this had to offer! Would definitely recommend, must buy!Goes Well With:Milk
Not one I'd buy again. General taste was ok, after taste was cloying though. Didn't think much of the texture eitherGoes Well With:Anything that takes the aftertaste away.
All i can say is awesome!!!! Great tasting and not too heavy, ideal for on the go or with lunch.
Brilliant and tasty! Great buy!! Just ordered another 12
Not much i can fantastic tasting product and really high in protein cant beat itGoes Well With:Everything
I had very little expectations of these!! But I'm impressed. Sure they aren't the best cookies in the world but compared to a lot of protein bars/snacks/shakes I've tried they are much much nicer! I loved the chocolate orange one the most.
This is the second time i order this cookie. It taste realy nice(white choc).I eat it for breakfast and keep me full until lunchGoes Well With:Tea or milk
It is a good idea but no thought has gone into taste or presentation. It looks as unappetising as it is. Apart from being high protein the ingredients are really unhealthy so there is not reason for it to taste so bad. Couldn't get through the whole thing it was very hard work chewing the thick dough.
I love My Protein products but these cookies are pretty vile. Get your protein hit but man oh man they are not nice at all.
Excellent value high protein snack for when on the move couldn't believe how delicious they actually tasted was expecting a bland horrible cookie but I really enjoyed these and will definitely order more Goes Well With:Good as a snack between meals with a cup of tea or coffee
This was my first ever protein cookie purchased from myprotein.com, overall I'd give it 4 stars. The only improvement that could be made is the taste, at first was off-putting but got used to it, I ate this with my hard gainer supplement that I bought with it and enjoyed it. Great amount of protein, a fair size cookie and great value.
I'm really glad I tried these cookies. My assumption was that 'protein alternative' foods were just worse than normal foods. These cookies are surprisingly good. I was a little disappointed with the double chocolate flavour but let's face it, chocolate is a hard flavour to beat with a protein product. However, the white chocolate and almond cookie was delicious! So nice that i would choose it over a normal cookie. So the protein is just a bonus.Goes Well With:Milk
Was not expecting much from it taste wise but it is actually pretty good.
It was nice, it filled the gap, however it wasn't crunchy like a cookie normally is, but soft and a bit chewy. Still really nice though! Goes Well With:a shake and a meal
Soft and squishy texture was more like cookie dough rather than a 'cooked' cookie. Goes Well With:Tea
If like me, you're getting fed up of protein shakes, these are the snack of choice! I'm using these as a replacement to Whey powder, the results are far better plus you get the added bonus of some carbs in there too! I've had 3 flavours, mint, orange and almond. All of which are easy to eat and not overly sickly or hard to chew like other brands ive tried. Recommended.
Nice bit of stodge to fill you up after a hard match! stops the hunger pangs and its almost dripping in protein, gets my vote
Not bad tasting. Texture is a bit odd. Probably wouldn't buy regularly.
Doesn't taste very good but I suppose it's not supposed to taste like a normal cookie. 37.5g of protein..can't argue with that.
I have tried the chocolate mint and the chocolate orange and both tasted good. The mint one has a much more stronger taste than the orange one. The orange cookie only had a hint of orange really but still tasted good. The texture it excellent - like a fresh cookie, nice and soft and breaks easily. Very reasonable size and worth a try!
I gave the double chocolate Protein Cookie a go and I am really pleased I did as these were great! Loved the flavour and good texture - I would definitely buy them again. These will be a nice alternative treat to look forward to.
Great tasting cookie will definitely buy more.Goes Well With:Skimmed milk
The Protein Cookie (Sample) is delicious. Amazing!
I loved this Protein Cookie and I found it a lot better than some of the flapjacks on sale. It was a little chewy so I found myself chewing for a while before I could swallow it but I didn't mind too much and the flavour was spot on! I would definitely be having these again.
What a treat this Protein Cookie is! I had to give it a try as the other reviews where really good. I had this on my treat day, it really is such a tasty cookie on par with major brands.
White Choc Almond Cookie tasted far too strong, full on fake almond essence like for me. If they cut back on that I think it would taste a lot better. Really like the whole protein cookie idea and the texture, protein element all good so its not putting me off giving the other flavours a go. Just ordered a Choc Orange one so hoping that flavour is better.
Wow! I didn't think it was going to be that good. It makes a nice change from the protein bars decent amount of proteins can't go wrong with them! Strongly recommend!
I ordered the choc mint flavour cookie. I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it was. It's soft, tastes good and has a great texture.Goes Well With:The gym?
The cookie was great tasting and something to look forward to. The taste was Morish and made me want to keep eating also with the amount of protein per cookie was great for my needs and aided with my recovery and muscle growth. Would definitely purchase again and also purchase the muffins next time I order. Goes well with A glass of milk to wash it down or a coffee as any cookie would. However with this cookie you have the same great taste without the fat and sugars loosing your gains would advice this product if your looking for a treat after training. Goes Well With:Milk or coffee
Protein Cookies have an amazing taste, with amazing protein content. I would recommend it!Goes Well With:Everything
A cookie to me always meant an American biscuit, hard at least on the exterior if not the entire. Nevertheless I took a bite of this Protein Cookie (Sample) and found the taste and flavour a bit too strong for me. As I am now 84, I found half the sample quite filling for a snack.
Double choc Protein Cookies were very good however I was not impressed with the white choc almond flavour.
I tried one of each flavour and the best one was the Chocolate Mint. The other two flavours were a bit off, the Almond one being the worst. The texture was OK, obviously not like a real cookie but not far off. The nutritional stats are impressive though, and even though my stomach can be a bit sensitive I had no trouble whatsoever with these. I'd buy the Chocolate Mint one again but probably not the others, although I'd recommend them if you feel like you *need* a sweet "treat" while staying within your macros.Goes Well With:A cup of tea.
The Protein Cookie was OK. The Almond had a very strong presence and was a bit much in one go for me, although I did have it with a shake. First time trying one of these and I wasn't disappointed, maybe I'll try the choc orange next time. 37.5g of protein is a massive amount so gets approval for that alone.
The Protein Cookies have a nice enough texture but the white chocolate and almond flavour is disgusting, even for someone who loves marzipan. I imagine it would be better in a different flavour.
Only bought as a sample as I find most of these products I've tried are horrible. Pleasantly surprised and will be buying the box along with my next order.
Chocolate orange was amazing! Double chocolate was a little powdery but what do you expect with such great macro's!Goes Well With:Glass of milk.
The Protein Cookie (Sample) is very tasty and is the perfect snack to increase protein intake. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high protein snack.
Really disgusting. I love white chocolate and almonds but this was horrible and I can eat anything! Goes Well With:Nothing! Don't buy!
The Protein Cookie (Sample) is good tasting. It's a bit gritty - I'm gathering it's due to the high protein content. Overall, it's a very nice and filling snack.Goes Well With:Chocolate nut protein shake
Bought a sample of choc mint protein cookie it was a good size and tasted great . Will be getting more
I have tried many cookie/bar based protein snacks, and after tasting this Protein Cookie sample I was very impressed. The problem with most protein snacks is the fact that they are very, very chewy and dry. I could not believe how soft and moist this snack was, to the point I had to double check the ingredients to believe that it actually contained protein! Myprotein have got the mixture correct on this and it is a great alternative to shakes which often left me feeling bloated before a hard work out. Great product and will buy again for sure.Goes Well With:Protein Shake or a glass of milk
I have tried double choc and white choc Protein Cookies. Both of them have excellent taste and keep me full of energy. I eat it after swimming.Goes Well With:milk or as a snack
Really nice cookie, I was especially impressed that it held together well despite being in my bag for a week (I was saving it for an emergency rather than just eating them for the hell of it). There are plenty of white chocolate chips, though I was a little disappointed that it didn't have chunks of almond in it as well. Oh well. It does taste of almond so can't complain too much. the texture is perfect, very "cakey". I had a bit of a stomach ache afterwards but I don't know if this is down to the cookie, or something else that I ate today. Thankfully you can buy samples without committing to a 12 pack so I will definitely be buying more and seeing how I get on.Goes Well With:a glass of milk
The Protein Cookie (Sample) tastes good, and has a soft texture, making it easy to eat. It did not fall apart.
The Protein Cookie (Sample) is very tasty and brilliant for on the go! And with 37.5g of protein, it's very good!Goes Well With:Impact whey
The Protein Cookies are average. They're very sickly and have a funny taste. They are chewy like protein bars but are still better than other protein bars I've had.
I just didn't taste very nice and was very hard yet bendy. Still pliable perhaps. Didn't have the normal cookie texture. Goes Well With:On its own.
The Protein Cookie (Sample) was too sweet for my taste. It left a sugary coating on my teeth and I needed loads of water after eating it. The texture is nice on the first few bites, then becomes a bit bitty and chalky before swallowing.
The Protein Cookie (Sample) tasted amazing! It's my new favourite product!
The Protein Cookie (Sample) is very nice tasting and packed with protein! The only down side was after chewing for a while it got very dry and sand-like. Overall though, it's good.
The Protein Cookie (Sample) is a great tasting cookie! It's the perfect snack or meal replacement.
The taste of the Protein Cookie (Sample) was OK, but the high protein content gave a slightly weird texture. The high protein content makes them worthwhile though. Chocolate orange was by far my favourite flavour and I will continue to use the product.
White chocolate and Almond flavour Protein Cookie (Sample) was an unusual taste, very much like marzipan, which is great if you like it, not so great if you don't. It's very easy to eat though, with a good protein count. I would buy if I needed an easy way if getting some protein in and a shake or food wasn't practical.
The Protein Cookie (Sample) is very tasty and a great post-workout snack. The texture is nice and soft. It's not chewy like a lot of protein bars.
I tried the double chocolate Protein Cookie. The initial taste and texture was pretty good but then the aftertaste was very powdery - which made it hard to eat!
Decent size and a nice doughy texture. Had a taste similar to marzipan was surprised by how filling it was. Excellent as a treat not something I would eat daily.
A little chewy but an all round good product gets the job done, still the best tasting cookie/bar I have had but with 37.5g of protein you cannot go wrong! Just have with a drink and it's fine! Goes Well With:Water
Sometimes you just don't want to drink protein after a workout, this little Protein Cookie was the answer. Especially after a long session when you get home and want to eat everything naughty. It's easy to forget it's packed with good stuff. Goes Well With:Another one.
The Protein Cookie is a good tasting product, the texture is a little strange but overall pretty enjoyable. It's not the healthiest of products but a nice treat with plenty of protein.
This is an excellent snack to have, I ordered a sample cookie - Choc Orange - and it was delicious! I used to eat the trioplex cookies which were delicious as well however their carbs to protein ratio was 2:1 (not too bad but when eating 2 a day thats a lot of carbs) One of the best things about the MYP cookie is that its carbs to protein ratio is 1:2 - 37.5g protein to half the amount of carbs. Not only does it taste good but when you need that extra meal to get your protein intake in for the day (and/or carb intake) its not a big meal that will overfill you up but will deliver the goods. Definitely ordering a box of these now!
The almond flavour Protein Cookie (Sample) is perfect!
The Protein Cookie is a great taste. It tastes like normal cookie.
I'm pretty good with my eating and would say I have a well balanced diet but I do a have a sweet tooth! There are times when I just want a chocolate hit so it was great to find this Protein Cookie (Sample). Great to have as a snack after the gym or as a sweet treat, and something you don't have to feel too guilty about!
The Protein Cookie is the best tasting cookie I've had. They're soft and full of protein goodness.
Protein Cookie (Sample) has a very nice taste, a good equivalent to the usual bars and flapjacks.
I have these Protein Cookies for breakfast. They fill me up until lunch time and stop me snacking on junk. Peanut butter on top for extra stodge / protein hit!Goes Well With:Peanut butter
I was surpised by how nice & soft these Protein Cookies are, plus they pack over 35kg of protein so they are a good buy! They are very filling and I would not manage any more than one a day, so make sure you have some water to wash it down with!
The Protein Cookie is full of protein which is great to eat after a workout or even a snack between meals. I've got a sweet tooth for chocolate and dough, so this is a nice replacement, like the other comments have said though, these are very dry and the aftertaste isn't great. I would give it 3 out of 5.Goes Well With:Water
I tried the chocolate orange Protein Cookie and it was fantastic. These have the added benefit of a whopping 37g of protein. I can't wait to try the other flavours.
I am sure that chemically and nutritionally this product works but the problem is that you need to be able to eat it! seems a bit obvious I know, but the taste is terrible. it has the texture of raw cookie dough and sawdust and a very chemical tasting almond flavour (like cheap marzipan). so I have not actually managed to eat a whole one for fear of bringing it back up again. I have only tried a few products in the range and I can say that the plain unflavoured protein is ideal as a mixer especially in porridge. but in terms of these cookies I would steer clear. it would actually be a better idea when offering a sample pack to allow people to choose the items especially as mine came in separate deliveries anyway! I am so glad I didn't buy a whole box on the experience of a good purchase with the protein powder as it would have been a costly and undigestible mistake in my opinion.
