Instant Oats are a source of low Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates, a slower releasing carbohydrate to high Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates. We have sourced Scottish Oats and milled them down in to an ultra fine powder to provide a low GI carbohydrate which can be easily consumed as a drink when mixed with your preferred liquid.
Carbohydrates contribute to the maintenance of normal brain function. Oat beta-glucan has been shown to reduce blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. Instant Oats contain 4.4g of Beta-Glucan per 100g. Consumption of beta-glucans from oats or barley as part of a meal contributes to the reduction of the blood glucose rise after that meal
This makes them the ideal choice for anyone looking to boost their carbohydrate intake throughout the day. The versatility of Instant Oats allows you to add them to your existing supplement shake, consume them on their own or even add them to certain foods like yoghurt, smoothies and baked goods.
As a food supplement add a sprinkling to food or mix with milk. Use 1-3 times daily or as required.

Good product I use it every day blends and taste good when mixed with protein powder and Milk
So good for gaining mass. Great source of carbs, helps me reach my macros for the day. For flavours Id go with vanilla. Uve tried strawberry cream and its a bit sickening. Vanilla was actually enjoyable.
At the moment I am using this product as a breakfast substitue mixing 2 scoops with half a pint of milk. I started to use instant oats a while back now, unflavoured is as it says...to add some taste I've mixed this before with chocolate milkshake. I have also tried vanilla (one of my favourite tastes!) and recently purchased choc smooth (a sweet taste similar to coco pops). Generally a serving holds my hunger up until around 2:30pm, as a product for taste and for a quick breakfast on the go i'd give it a 5 star and recommend to anyone wanting to add a few extra carbs in their diet.
Amazing taste, great quick breakfast for the morning.
This really is great stuff and so so simple. I mix this stuff with my protein and not only does it mix well, it also enhances the taste of the shake! In terms of performance, it conveniently delivers me with more complex carbs (energy!).
Effective source of energy. Mixes quite well, find it best left mixed for an hour to soften. Excellent service.
Quality, cheap oats. Works great for a bit of extra calories in your shake.
I don't typically write reviews, but this is the first product that has completely exceeded my expectations. The taste is genuinely phenomenal, it's something you look forward to whilst also providing you with the necessary carbohydrates and calories to maintain and exceed a healthy and bulking lifestyle. It mixes like it's already a liquid once it hits your desired liquid (water/milk). Within a 2 month use, I have already put on a lot of good muscle and helped me to gain that 'bulk' that I require. Thanks MyProtein!
These instant oats are a great source of carbohydrates. I take them 2-3 times daily: in the morning as breakfast and then 1-2 times during the day between meals. Helps gain some more mass especially if it is hard to do by eating only regular meals (I am ectomorph). Very easy to mix with milk in blender bottle (with blending ball). I usually buy unflavoured and add some raspberry syrup for great taste. Definitely will buy more and more. Highly recommended!
Easy to shake and give more energy on trening
Unflavoured, surprisingly They don't really taste of much, thicken a shake and boost calories, good buy
I add this to True Whey protein powder to make sure the protein is picked up into my muscles quicker. I add a lot to my shake because it's a cheap, easy way to get carbs in but it's very hard to swallow since it can get stodgy in your throat. If you don't over do the amounts, it tastes better.
I use this every morning and mix in 40g of impact whey protein to it to give an unbelievable flavour. Its a steal of a price too!
Ordered this to mix with my whey protein after my workouts. Went for non flavoured as my whey is normally flavoured. Blends really well although you have be quick to start shaking, but that's fine. Little powdery when drinking but its kind of expected. Will continue to purchase from myprotein! Brilliant value for money
Great mix in like everyone has said just would like to say/ask is one scoop 100g like the prescribed use says nevertheless I used one scoop of oats accompanyed one scoop of spectrum 12 protien mixed very well top marks from me all the results no hype 😊
Best Carb supplement for post workout and pre workout for long training seasons. This is now a stable of mine.
Extremely good mixes great, tastes awesome with a shake and gives awesome complex carbs which helps increase caloric suplus Must Buy!!!Goes Well With:Whey Protein or Any type of shakes i.e. mass gainer (magnum 8000 caramel and vanilla)
really good, usually have it for breakfast and gives me energy for hours
Great product, I use it in my morning shake with water and it mixes up well in a blender and has no actual taste at all. Great to get a few extra. Carbs into your diet.
Good way to get extra carbs in your day, easy to mix in with a shake or make pancakes with. Excellent low GI carb source, taste isn't too great but mixed with a shake it's alright.
I usually buy supermarket Quakers oats, which all good, but when added to a shake it can turn it into unpleasant sludge. To combat this, I use a mix of around 50 grams of normal supermarket oats and 100 grams of instant oats. I ordered chocolate instant oats and therefore I can use unflavored egg protein. I have only tried chocolate, but it has a great taste, not too weak, not too strong, tastes like any other flavored whey would. This product is much better than standard oats in a supermarket and I am going to try all the flavors. My bulking shake is: 50 g of quakers oats 100g of instant oats 500ml of oat milk 50g of egg protein 70g of spinach 1 banana 2 tbsp of olive oil It makes a shake that isn't too thick and just about manageable for myself. I am lactose intolerant, hence the substitutes for whey and milk. Goes Well With:Milk
I use this as an extra intake for the morning and evening double scoop (unflavoured) for each drink with milk and and a large scoop of Nutella or peanut blended with half a banana bang on taste and works amazing ...
I started labouring full time and lost a stone of muscle in 3 months from over working (I still gymed every day) and from not being able to get enough calories into my diet to cope with the extra being burned. I train to keep a lean stomach and big up top but started loosing bulk fast after labouring. I started taking malt and oat powder to compensate for the extra work I was doing everyday. within 2 months i was beyond what I was before i started labouring size and weight wise. These carbs are simple but very effective. I still find it hard to fit in enough meals a day so two shakes with Oats, prote and malt in make up the difference everyday. If youre looking to bulk or just cant fit enough food into your schedule My Protein Oats and Malt is your answer.Goes Well With:Malt
Excellent, mixes well and keeps you fuller longer
I have been using instant oats for over 3 years as a source of energy in the morning to help support my aim of reducing body fat. It is an excellent source of low GI carbohydrates which help support me over a period of several hours. I have used the unflavoured option preferring to mix it with my Impact Diet Whey which is flavoured as a shake. I am happy recommending this product to anyone as I firmly believe it has helped me and continues to help me achieve my goal of lean muscle and reducing body fat. Goes Well With:Impact Diet Whey
These oats are brilliant the taste is very neutral as others have stated, mixes very easily with no lumps left behind. High calorie content when you add protein and milk, ideal for people who struggle to put on weight like myself. Ideal to make your own weight gain shakes as you have full control over the carbs increase or decrease as needed 100g Oats 500ml of whole fat milk 30g Chocolate Nesquick powder Total Calories = 826 (Drink 2 times a day to gain weight (ie: hard gainers) Goes Well With:Whey protien , milk, Chocolate Nesquick powder
Two scoops for breakfast each morning, mixed with hot water and a little milk keeps me filled until late afternoon. Excellent valueGoes Well With:Hot water and a little milk
Great for when you can't get your carbs in!Goes Well With:Mix it with your flavoured whey, if you chose unflavoured oats like me.
My overall review is very good as the delivery was very quick and the product tastes well aswell as mixing well and i can really see it helping me gain a bit of weight in the right waysGoes Well With:Whey protein (chocolate)
It was okay, I got the vanilla one and it didn't taste like vanilla or smell like it,it was like unflavoured! But I DEFINETLY BOUGHT VANILLA. It mixed okay just I followed the instructiones and It burnt but was still kind hard? It didn't do anything for me through the day It was just like a normal day. The taste wasn't too good too, it tasted pretty bad like sick. I do not recommend this but it's okay for the price.Very disappointed. Will not be buying in the future. :( Goes Well With:Nothing just on its own I guess.
This stuff tastes RANK! But on the plus side, it does exactly what it's supposed too. I've used this twice now and am just getting used to it in my system with a mix of protein powder aswell. Both the same flavor but the oats give it a grainy consistency in your mouth. Goes Well With:Milk, water
Awesome stuff, together with whey makes for a quick breakfast. mixes quite well, though some 'goop' tends to get left in the shaker. the taste is neutral, so with milk or whey tastes quite nice.
Great all round product and service as per usual from MyProtein. I have these oats as part of my pre gym snack along with micellar casein and impact whey, it mixes very well with these products. I have also used the instant oats to make protein pancakes, by combining them along with egg whites & impact whey chocolate smooth. I would recommend these to anyone with a sweet tooth wanting a guilt free meal. Goes Well With:Impact Whey (Chocolate Smooth) Micellar Casein (Chocolate) Water
I choose chocolate flavor which tastes great, it mixes well with water and provides slow digesting carbs through out the day.
These are brilliant for breakfast. I have two scoops in milk, with a scoop of impact whey. Sorted until lunch - I'll generally have a midmorning shake but that's more to do with my meal plan; I'm certainly not hungry! It's not a light bite - circa 500kcal with two LEVEL scoops of oats, one level scoop of impact whey, and 200ml semi skimmed milk. I buy unflavoured - it tastes like oats haha - if you use flavoured protein you don't need to worry if mixing though. Mixes like a dream and as long as you give it a good shake it doesn't clump. It's a great product - yes you could buy oats and grind them down yourself so they become drinkable, but ain't nobody got time for that! Two kids, job etc - perfect for when you free time is short!Goes Well With:Milk, impact whey, honey, peanut butter
I brought the 5 kilo bag to mix in. My shakes with impact whey I also take a shake of oats and whey for breakfast keeps me going till lunch gives me loads of energy tastes great mixes great would recommend to anyone Goes Well With:Whey and water
Does exactly what it is designed for. I definitely have extra energy during my workouts. However, even though the taste is neutral, the texture isn't great. Doesn't dissolve that much and towards the end of my shake it feels not unlike drinking sand. However, I would reccomend.
I was encouraged to buy some instant oats by a friend who uses them for a quick and easy breakfast instead of eating rubbish on the way too work. I personally use them as a makeshift weight gainer shake and breakfast. An ideas for a shake, 2 scoops oats, 2 scoops whey protein and 400 ml full fat milk is around 700 calories and not that thick. Regarding taste the protein is overpowered but i personally really like the taste and have found my perfect shake. I've made some serious clean gains recently but feel this is probably also been due a hard gainer. Overall I can't rate them enough for whatever use you go for, Just bought a 5kg bag. Goes Well With:Whey Protein
I've just purchased this product and today was my first try. It does what it says on the package, gives full effect of energy would recommend!
Although it doesnt taste of much the oats mix well.
very convenient way to get extra calories and little extra protein when mixed with whey. Goes Well With:whey
Good product, it does give energy and make feel invigorated.the taste is creamier with milk but you must not keep it in the shaker for a long time because milk stink after a while. So just plain water, leave it for few minutes to take in the water and it ready to drink all day long, depending on the portion made.Goes Well With:It goes well with Water for me,
Excellent, quick breakfast when you are on the go. Tasty. Great value for a good source of protein
My friend bought 5kg of these oats but MyProtein didn't throw in a powder scoop. Good product though - tried it a couple of times and it keeps you going throughout the day.Goes Well With:Whey protein
I bought the undiscovered oats which on their own dont taste that great especially with water. I mix one scoop with almond milk which makes it taste better and makes it great value for money. I also use one scoop, a banana, either water or almond milk and some frozen berries and liquidize which makes a really tasty and filling smoothie. Goes Well With:Almond milk, water, any fruit
I like this product very much. I use it to turn my protein shakes into shakes for muscle growth. Mixes perfectly with everything. I tried the chocolate taste and it's delicious. Careful though, if you're not working out enough and in order to strip fat, you're going to put fat on, because of course it's a lot of carbs!Goes Well With:Milk, chocolate, Total protein, blueberries, raspberries.
Really like the fact the oats are very fine. Easy to mix with protein and super food mix to make a great breakfast shake. Taste great and would recommend without hesitation. I well continue to buy this product.Goes Well With:Protein Superior mix Nitro greens
Instant Oats are a quick and effective way of getting clean carbs. I like to add a scoop to my Impact Whey Isolate shake (mixed with water). It tastes good and mixes fine, although you do sometimes get a few powdery lumps. Excellent value for money.Goes Well With:Impact Whey Isolate
I use chocolate smooth with impact whey choc and it's a really great clean carb boost. They don't taste particularly great in my opinion. But they're clean and quick so I just deal with it and hold my nose. I think I will buy the unflavoured in the future to avoid the Sucralose intake. Mixes fine and overall a great addition to a bulking diet. If you would like an idea for a bulking shake I would suggest - 350ml whole milk, 50-75g Instant Oats, teaspoon of natural clouded honey and 5-10g of extra virgin olive oil. They're amazing for packing on size but just be sure to hold your nose!Goes Well With:Impact Whey choc. Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Raw clouded honey.
If you're looking to increase your carbs with healthy options, then this is the one! Cheap, tastes incredible, mixes well in protein shakes and any baking what so ever (especially protein pancakes). Obviously, the results are the main thing here and they certainly give me the energy throughout the day and during my workout when needed! Goes Well With:Protein Shakes, Unsweetened Almond Milk, Baking, Water
