Instant Oats are a source of low Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates, a slower releasing carbohydrate to high Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates. We have sourced Scottish Oats and milled them down in to an ultra fine powder to provide a low GI carbohydrate which can be easily consumed as a drink when mixed with your preferred liquid.
Carbohydrates contribute to the maintenance of normal brain function. Oat beta-glucan has been shown to reduce blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. Instant Oats contain 4.4g of Beta-Glucan per 100g. Consumption of beta-glucans from oats or barley as part of a meal contributes to the reduction of the blood glucose rise after that meal
This makes them the ideal choice for anyone looking to boost their carbohydrate intake throughout the day. The versatility of Instant Oats allows you to add them to your existing supplement shake, consume them on their own or even add them to certain foods like yoghurt, smoothies and baked goods.

I usually buy supermarket Quakers oats, which all good, but when added to a shake it can turn it into unpleasant sludge.
To combat this, I use a mix of around 50 grams of normal supermarket oats and 100 grams of instant oats. I ordered chocolate instant oats and therefore I can use unflavored egg protein.
I have only tried chocolate, but it has a great taste, not too weak, not too strong, tastes like any other flavored whey would. This product is much better than standard oats in a supermarket and I am going to try all the flavors.
My bulking shake is:
50 g of quakers oats
100g of instant oats
500ml of oat milk
50g of egg protein
70g of spinach
2 tbsp of olive oil
It makes a shake that isn't too thick and just about manageable for myself. I am lactose intolerant, hence the substitutes for whey and milk.

I started labouring full time and lost a stone of muscle in 3 months from over working (I still gymed every day) and from not being able to get enough calories into my diet to cope with the extra being burned. I train to keep a lean stomach and big up top but started loosing bulk fast after labouring. I started taking malt and oat powder to compensate for the extra work I was doing everyday. within 2 months i was beyond what I was before i started labouring size and weight wise. I have been using instant oats for over 3 years as a source of energy in the morning to help support my aim of reducing body fat.
It is an excellent source of low GI carbohydrates which help support me over a period of several hours.

These oats are brilliant the taste is very neutral as others have stated, mixes very easily with no lumps left behind. High calorie content when you add protein and milk, ideal for people who struggle to put on weight like myself. It was okay, I got the vanilla one and it didn't taste like vanilla or smell like it,it was like unflavoured! But I DEFINETLY BOUGHT VANILLA. It mixed okay just I followed the instructiones and It burnt but was still kind hard? It didn't do anything for me through the day It was just like a normal day. The taste wasn't too good too, it tasted pretty bad like sick. I do not recommend this but it's okay for the price.Very disappointed. Will not be buying in the future. :( Goes Well With:Nothing just on its own I guess.

I have also used the instant oats to make protein pancakes, by combining them along with egg whites & impact whey chocolate smooth. These are brilliant for breakfast. I have two scoops in milk, with a scoop of impact whey. Sorted until lunch - I'll generally have a midmorning shake but that's more to do with my meal plan: I'm certainly not hungry! It's not a light bite - circa 500kcal with two LEVEL scoops of oats, one level scoop of impact whey, and 200ml semi skimmed milk.
I buy unflavoured - it tastes like oats haha - if you use flavoured protein you don't need to worry if mixing though.
Mixes like a dream and as long as you give it a good shake it doesn't clump.
It's a great product - yes you could buy oats and grind them down yourself so they become drinkable, but ain't nobody got time for that! Two kids, job etc - perfect for when you free time is short!Goes Well With:Milk, impact whey, honey, peanut butter

Does exactly what it is designed for. I definitely have extra energy during my workouts.
However, even though the taste is neutral, the texture isn't great. Doesn't dissolve that much and towards the end of my shake it feels not unlike drinking sand.
However, I would reccomend.

I was encouraged to buy some instant oats by a friend who uses them for a quick and easy breakfast instead of eating rubbish on the way too work. I personally use them as a makeshift weight gainer shake and breakfast. An ideas for a shake, 2 scoops oats, 2 scoops whey protein and 400 ml full fat milk is around 700 calories and not that thick. Regarding taste the protein is overpowered but i personally really like the taste and have found my perfect shake. I've made some serious clean gains recently but feel this is probably also been due a hard gainer. Overall I can't rate them enough for whatever use you go for, Just bought a 5kg bag. Good product, it does give energy and make feel invigorated.the taste is creamier with milk but you must not keep it in the shaker for a long time because milk stink after a while. I bought the undiscovered oats which on their own dont taste that great especially with water. I mix one scoop with almond milk which makes it taste better and makes it great value for money. I also use one scoop, a banana, either water or almond milk and some frozen berries and liquidize which makes a really tasty and filling smoothie.

I like this product very much. I use it to turn my protein shakes into shakes for muscle growth. Mixes perfectly with everything. I tried the chocolate taste and it's delicious. Instant Oats are a quick and effective way of getting clean carbs. I like to add a scoop to my Impact Whey Isolate shake (mixed with water). It tastes good and mixes fine, although you do sometimes get a few powdery lumps.

I use chocolate smooth with impact whey choc and it's a really great clean carb boost. They don't taste particularly great in my opinion. But they're clean and quick so I just deal with it and hold my nose. I think I will buy the unflavoured in the future to avoid the Sucralose intake. Mixes fine and overall a great addition to a bulking diet.
If you would like an idea for a bulking shake I would suggest - 350ml whole milk, 50-75g Instant Oats, teaspoon of natural clouded honey and 5-10g of extra virgin olive oil. They're amazing for packing on size but just be sure to hold your nose!Goes Well With:Impact Whey choc. Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Raw clouded honey.

Great product, first tried this as it was free with another order but it's now a regular purchase. Go with the unflavoured and mix it with some milk and whey powder, peanut butter, berries etc to bulk it out, makes for a great snack between meals.
Can't really fault this product — if I'm being picky, it doesn't always mix completely so best used with a blender if that bothers you, but it's another fantastic product from MP. Goes Well With:Anything.

I decided to use this as a quick way to have a healthy breakfast on the go. I mix 42g with 300ml unsweetened almond milk and just drink it like a shake. Also add almond butter or blitzed banana for an extra boost. The only negative is that it does not mix as well and settles - but a quick shake before drinking sorts that out! I've also tried mixing it in a shake with semi-skimmed milk and also oat milk - both of which are foul. This may just be my personal taste but it wasn't nice!
