Instant Oats are a source of low Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates, a slower releasing carbohydrate to high Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates. We have sourced Scottish Oats and milled them down in to an ultra fine powder to provide a low GI carbohydrate which can be easily consumed as a drink when mixed with your preferred liquid.
Carbohydrates contribute to the maintenance of normal brain function. Oat beta-glucan has been shown to reduce blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. Instant Oats contain 4.4g of Beta-Glucan per 100g. Consumption of beta-glucans from oats or barley as part of a meal contributes to the reduction of the blood glucose rise after that meal
This makes them the ideal choice for anyone looking to boost their carbohydrate intake throughout the day. The versatility of Instant Oats allows you to add them to your existing supplement shake, consume them on their own or even add them to certain foods like yoghurt, smoothies and baked goods.
Add 150ml-250ml of water or milk into our shaker (the less liquid the thicker the shake will be). Then add 100g, shake and consume. Use 1-3 times daily.

I don't typically write reviews, but this is the first product that has completely exceeded my expectations. The taste is genuinely phenomenal, it's something you look forward to whilst also providing you with the necessary carbohydrates and calories to maintain and exceed a healthy and bulking lifestyle. It mixes like it's already a liquid once it hits your desired liquid (water/milk). Within a 2 month use, I have already put on a lot of good muscle and helped me to gain that 'bulk' that I require. Thanks MyProtein!
Just a quick question before I buy this product.. Could I mix the oats with my protein power I have now? So I put my protein power in the shaker and put in the oats too? So I get the best of both? Thanks
Great mix in like everyone has said just would like to say/ask is one scoop 100g like the prescribed use says nevertheless I used one scoop of oats accompanyed one scoop of spectrum 12 protien mixed very well top marks from me all the results no hype 😊
These oats are brilliant the taste is very neutral as others have stated, mixes very easily with no lumps left behind. High calorie content when you add protein and milk, ideal for people who struggle to put on weight like myself. Ideal to make your own weight gain shakes as you have full control over the carbs increase or decrease as needed 100g Oats 500ml of whole fat milk 30g Chocolate Nesquick powder Total Calories = 826 (Drink 2 times a day to gain weight (ie: hard gainers) Goes Well With:Whey protien , milk, Chocolate Nesquick powder
These are brilliant for breakfast. I have two scoops in milk, with a scoop of impact whey. Sorted until lunch - I'll generally have a midmorning shake but that's more to do with my meal plan; I'm certainly not hungry! It's not a light bite - circa 500kcal with two LEVEL scoops of oats, one level scoop of impact whey, and 200ml semi skimmed milk. I buy unflavoured - it tastes like oats haha - if you use flavoured protein you don't need to worry if mixing though. Mixes like a dream and as long as you give it a good shake it doesn't clump. It's a great product - yes you could buy oats and grind them down yourself so they become drinkable, but ain't nobody got time for that! Two kids, job etc - perfect for when you free time is short!Goes Well With:Milk, impact whey, honey, peanut butter
This was one of the first products i was very much looking forward to buying first, and i will easily buy it again and again! I have this every morning for my breakfast along with a banana, and i am easily full throughout the whole morning and up till dinner time! I would always mix this with milk so you get a bit more of a benefit out of the taste however, at first i realised it was irritating and hurting my throat a bit but, a few shakes later i never notice it now. It smells and tastes exactly like oats you would get from the shop and is just so more convenient and worth the money!Goes Well With:Milk Breakfast Banana
This stuff is amazing. Tastes awesome whatever flavour. Easy quality source of carbs that can be consumed within a minute with a shake, milk or even water. For me personally this is more important than whey protein, I can eat meat all day and not really get bored of it but eating carbs such as sweet potatoes and long grain rice 4/5 times a day has always been a task never mind cooking and storing it all first! These oats are the consistency of protein powder so mixes perfect, it's made my healthy eating 100x easier. Cheers MyProtein.
Two scoops for breakfast each morning, mixed with hot water and a little milk keeps me filled until late afternoon. Excellent valueGoes Well With:Hot water and a little milk
The bits of flower that can't be blended anymore made me gag and stuck on my teeth, the flavour is good apart from that. It's good for calories. Goes Well With:Milk defiantly not water
They dissolve well They help you reach your macros Good source of carbs And vanilla tastes great.
I use this every morning and mix in 40g of impact whey protein to it to give an unbelievable flavour. Its a steal of a price too!
Ordered this to mix with my whey protein after my workouts. Went for non flavoured as my whey is normally flavoured. Blends really well although you have be quick to start shaking, but that's fine. Little powdery when drinking but its kind of expected. Will continue to purchase from myprotein! Brilliant value for money
really good, usually have it for breakfast and gives me energy for hours
I started labouring full time and lost a stone of muscle in 3 months from over working (I still gymed every day) and from not being able to get enough calories into my diet to cope with the extra being burned. I train to keep a lean stomach and big up top but started loosing bulk fast after labouring. I started taking malt and oat powder to compensate for the extra work I was doing everyday. within 2 months i was beyond what I was before i started labouring size and weight wise. These carbs are simple but very effective. I still find it hard to fit in enough meals a day so two shakes with Oats, prote and malt in make up the difference everyday. If youre looking to bulk or just cant fit enough food into your schedule My Protein Oats and Malt is your answer.Goes Well With:Malt
Excellent, mixes well and keeps you fuller longer
This stuff tastes RANK! But on the plus side, it does exactly what it's supposed too. I've used this twice now and am just getting used to it in my system with a mix of protein powder aswell. Both the same flavor but the oats give it a grainy consistency in your mouth. Goes Well With:Milk, water
I brought the 5 kilo bag to mix in. My shakes with impact whey I also take a shake of oats and whey for breakfast keeps me going till lunch gives me loads of energy tastes great mixes great would recommend to anyone Goes Well With:Whey and water
I was encouraged to buy some instant oats by a friend who uses them for a quick and easy breakfast instead of eating rubbish on the way too work. I personally use them as a makeshift weight gainer shake and breakfast. An ideas for a shake, 2 scoops oats, 2 scoops whey protein and 400 ml full fat milk is around 700 calories and not that thick. Regarding taste the protein is overpowered but i personally really like the taste and have found my perfect shake. I've made some serious clean gains recently but feel this is probably also been due a hard gainer. Overall I can't rate them enough for whatever use you go for, Just bought a 5kg bag. Goes Well With:Whey Protein
My friend bought 5kg of these oats but MyProtein didn't throw in a powder scoop. Good product though - tried it a couple of times and it keeps you going throughout the day.Goes Well With:Whey protein
I bought the undiscovered oats which on their own dont taste that great especially with water. I mix one scoop with almond milk which makes it taste better and makes it great value for money. I also use one scoop, a banana, either water or almond milk and some frozen berries and liquidize which makes a really tasty and filling smoothie. Goes Well With:Almond milk, water, any fruit
I like this product very much. I use it to turn my protein shakes into shakes for muscle growth. Mixes perfectly with everything. I tried the chocolate taste and it's delicious. Careful though, if you're not working out enough and in order to strip fat, you're going to put fat on, because of course it's a lot of carbs!Goes Well With:Milk, chocolate, Total protein, blueberries, raspberries.
If you're looking to increase your carbs with healthy options, then this is the one! Cheap, tastes incredible, mixes well in protein shakes and any baking what so ever (especially protein pancakes). Obviously, the results are the main thing here and they certainly give me the energy throughout the day and during my workout when needed! Goes Well With:Protein Shakes, Unsweetened Almond Milk, Baking, Water
Instant Oats is a brilliant product that I'd recommend to anyone looking for top quality carbs for a pre/post workout supplement. I bought this product to bulk up so I haven't recently seen any differences so I cannot comment on effectiveness. However, the taste of the unflavored version isn't nice at all but mixing it with some Cookies and Cream Impact Whey Protein turns it into a tasty treat. Goes Well With:Cookies and Cream Impact Whey Protein, Milk
ive ordered the unflavoured twice now and it mixes great with my true whey and weight gain both from here. i came here for the prices really low and seeing an athlete like Simeon Panda sponsored by these guys gave me extra confidence in using this more. they must being doing something right. , i want to document my growth with MYPROTEIN maybe one day when i reach the level of fitness i want to reach i will look back on this review and ill know this is were i really started taking this seriously. Goes Well With:true whey and weight gain
Great product, first tried this as it was free with another order but it's now a regular purchase. Go with the unflavoured and mix it with some milk and whey powder, peanut butter, berries etc to bulk it out, makes for a great snack between meals. Can't really fault this product — if I'm being picky, it doesn't always mix completely so best used with a blender if that bothers you, but it's another fantastic product from MP. Goes Well With:Anything.
Great to bulk out a protein shake and get some quick carbs at breakfast. Unflavoured instant oats leaves a nice "biscuity" taste to your shake. Look forward to it every morning and is a top incentive to get through my workout.
There isn't a bad thing to say about this at all, it's finely ground so makes it perfect to add to literally anything without it clumping up into a big mess, I've made countless pancakes, breakfast, added it to my protein shakes and cakes/biscuit mixtures. As it is Unflavoured it means you can add anything you want to it without fear of it spoiling too!Goes Well With:Milk, Eggs, Protein whey, milkshake mixers, Peanut butter, Treacle, Honey, basically anything breakfast based and all baking mixes
I'm not a fan of the taste, however it really fills me up and is convenient for me to take and keeps me full till lunch.Goes Well With:Water and milk
Does exactly what is needed. I mix it with impact protein powder and skimmed milk. I've definitely noticed a positive difference in energy levels, muscle size and strength gains in the gym and afterwards using this product. I highly recommend it with impact protein powder.Goes Well With:Impact Protein Powder
I bought these for a pre-breakfast energy release. I mix 2 scoops of oats - one scoop of whey - 1 small scoop of bran - mixed with milk. Taste great - I usually add a little water once shaken, just to loose, the oats can make it a bit thicker. Taste great, fills me up until I get to work, where I have breakfast. Also great for some carbs before/after gym! Highly recommend. Goes Well With:Whey Milk Bran
Instant Oats - they taste like real porridge but much finer powder so very good to mix and blend. Might need to add some honey or fruit to give them a much nicer taste, but if you like the raw taste then this is for you - Fills me up until lunch time no problems. Goes Well With:Honey, Jam or Blended fruits
Got a 5kg bag after my BP oats finished, TBH this is the best, this fully dissolved in water. Ultra fine for sure. Unlike bp grainy. Seems like my protein improving its quality after the competition. Loving it...also the discounts MP gives out are unmatchable!Goes Well With:Whey, malto,
I always buy this product they are great I take them as a breakfast shake mixed with 250 ml of semi skimed milk and some impact whey Keeps me going till lunchtime great product great mixabilty and taste buy with confidence Goes Well With:Milk and impact whey
Been using this product for a few weeks now, works a treat for gaining mass!! Mixability isnt the best always abit left at bottom and grainy texture, just mix with milk and cocoa powder for a tasty treat that reminds me of a KFC Krushem!! Great product would recommend.Goes Well With:Milk, whey, cocoa
I love having an oat shake in the morning. Again easy to blend and simple enough to take on the way to work.Goes Well With:Goes well with any flavoured powder and fruit.
Pretty easy to add in with my protein shake to turn into mass gainer. Very easy to mix in comparison to oatmeal.
Really good much better than this from normal shop. Pancakes with this oats are awesome and you can use them as well with protein in shake like a meal. Good quality , cheap and delicious !Goes Well With:Protein , Flavdrop
Good for weight gain. Great product overall.
Have the oats three times a day nice and easy one scoop add some water or milk depending if I'm hungry or not.taste ant bad with water better with milk Goes Well With:Water and milk
I've been using this product for about a month now as part of a bulking diet. I mix 2 scoops of it with a scoop of protein, blueberrys and a banana along with milk as my breakfast meal at 6:30am. It mixes very well, tastes ok and is a good way of getting some calories in first thing in the morning. It keeps you full which is a good thing, but can make my 9am snack harder to eat, but then im pretty sure u just need to force it down on a bulking diet! I will definitely keep this as my breakfast of choice for the foreseeable futureGoes Well With:Whey Protein
Use these in my bulking shakes to add calories and carbs. For the price this is class. Always have some in my cupboard.
I work very early shifts and I don't have time to mess around with food preparation at 4.30 in the morning. Every morning I have a scoop of the chocolate smooth oats added to a scoop of unflavoured whey in a shaker. Brilliant. Takes less than a minute and keeps my hunger satisfied for a good hour or two until I have breakfast at work Mixes well with the protein, the liquid is still slightly grainy but you get used to the texture after a while and now I thouroughly enjoy it. The chocolate flavour isn't too sweet or overpowering either 👍Goes Well With:Water - never tried with milk
This is one of my favourite products. Instant pats are great value for money! The taste might not be to everyone's like but I enjoy the taste of oats so can't complain. I have been using this product for over 1 year now to increase the number of calories I intake. I have been able to bulk and put on weight. Drinking the oats with water is a speedy way to have breakfast when I'm in a rush and also helps prevent me from snacking or feeling hungry during the morning/daytime. This is a brilliant product and helps me maintain high energy levels for longer.Goes Well With:Water, protein powder
I purchased unflavoured instant oats. The product is exactly what it says it is - oats ground down to fine powder so that they can be easily added to a shake. They taste like normal plain oats, mix well, and reasonably well priced.Goes Well With:Milk, protein powder.
I've bought protein loads places the pure whey I got of my protein is excellent stuff I've put on good size and leen muscle in so short time and when I bought it it was here with in 24 hours thanks myprotein 👍Goes Well With:Insten oats
I've been using instant oats for a couple of months now. I use it with both milk and water and it mixes in perfectly. I add natural banana whey protein for taste. Goes Well With:Milk and bannana whey protein.
Good product. Speedy delivery and great value for money. The oats are a great way to add calories. But the mixability of the oats aren't great. Goes Well With:whey protein
I'm very happy with the quality and taste Goes Well With:Milk and water I add one scoop of impect whey protein and two scoops of instant oat keeps me healthy and happy I stay active throughout the day
Could someone please help me with the macros for this as cannot find anywhere? Thanks
So I just tried this today. I am gluten intolerant, so hopefully it's not cross contaminated. So far the taste is good, it's thick with 1cup milk. Some sits at the bottom. For sodium it says 90g when it means 90mg. Not a bad product
