Instant Oats are a source of low Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates, a slower releasing carbohydrate to high Glycaemic Index (GI) carbohydrates. We have sourced Scottish Oats and milled them down in to an ultra fine powder to provide a low GI carbohydrate which can be easily consumed as a drink when mixed with your preferred liquid.
Carbohydrates contribute to the maintenance of normal brain function. Oat beta-glucan has been shown to reduce blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. Instant Oats contain 4.4g of Beta-Glucan per 100g. Consumption of beta-glucans from oats or barley as part of a meal contributes to the reduction of the blood glucose rise after that meal
This makes them the ideal choice for anyone looking to boost their carbohydrate intake throughout the day. The versatility of Instant Oats allows you to add them to your existing supplement shake, consume them on their own or even add them to certain foods like yoghurt, smoothies and baked goods.
Add 150ml-250ml of water or milk into our shaker (the less liquid the thicker the shake will be). Then add 100g, shake and consume. Use 1-3 times daily.

I don't typically write reviews, but this is the first product that has completely exceeded my expectations. The taste is genuinely phenomenal, it's something you look forward to whilst also providing you with the necessary carbohydrates and calories to maintain and exceed a healthy and bulking lifestyle. It mixes like it's already a liquid once it hits your desired liquid (water/milk). Within a 2 month use, I have already put on a lot of good muscle and helped me to gain that 'bulk' that I require. Thanks MyProtein!
These oats are brilliant the taste is very neutral as others have stated, mixes very easily with no lumps left behind. High calorie content when you add protein and milk, ideal for people who struggle to put on weight like myself. Ideal to make your own weight gain shakes as you have full control over the carbs increase or decrease as needed 100g Oats 500ml of whole fat milk 30g Chocolate Nesquick powder Total Calories = 826 (Drink 2 times a day to gain weight (ie: hard gainers) Goes Well With:Whey protien , milk, Chocolate Nesquick powder
Great mix in like everyone has said just would like to say/ask is one scoop 100g like the prescribed use says nevertheless I used one scoop of oats accompanyed one scoop of spectrum 12 protien mixed very well top marks from me all the results no hype 😊
These are brilliant for breakfast. I have two scoops in milk, with a scoop of impact whey. Sorted until lunch - I'll generally have a midmorning shake but that's more to do with my meal plan; I'm certainly not hungry! It's not a light bite - circa 500kcal with two LEVEL scoops of oats, one level scoop of impact whey, and 200ml semi skimmed milk. I buy unflavoured - it tastes like oats haha - if you use flavoured protein you don't need to worry if mixing though. Mixes like a dream and as long as you give it a good shake it doesn't clump. It's a great product - yes you could buy oats and grind them down yourself so they become drinkable, but ain't nobody got time for that! Two kids, job etc - perfect for when you free time is short!Goes Well With:Milk, impact whey, honey, peanut butter
Two scoops for breakfast each morning, mixed with hot water and a little milk keeps me filled until late afternoon. Excellent valueGoes Well With:Hot water and a little milk
This stuff is amazing. Tastes awesome whatever flavour. Easy quality source of carbs that can be consumed within a minute with a shake, milk or even water. For me personally this is more important than whey protein, I can eat meat all day and not really get bored of it but eating carbs such as sweet potatoes and long grain rice 4/5 times a day has always been a task never mind cooking and storing it all first! These oats are the consistency of protein powder so mixes perfect, it's made my healthy eating 100x easier. Cheers MyProtein.
I brought the 5 kilo bag to mix in. My shakes with impact whey I also take a shake of oats and whey for breakfast keeps me going till lunch gives me loads of energy tastes great mixes great would recommend to anyone Goes Well With:Whey and water
Just kidding, don't snort it. Pretty tasty and awesome product! I'll definitely be taking it everyday from now on in the morning with milk :)Goes Well With:Milk
I got this to try and help with my weight gain as I have a very high metabolism , so since I bought this I have used it twice a day I between meals with my normal protein shake and it has helped as I always seem to be hungry so this helps to keep me from being hungry inbetween meals , I also mix with yoghurt , smoothies and it helps with my daily calorie intake , tastes nice with or without flavour and does the job for me would defo recommend and buy again myself Goes Well With:Milk, yoghurt, smoothies
excellent taste and goes with just about anything, came the next day excellent service and I rate instant oats 5 star, good to add to mike or impact whey protein which I also purchased. Goes Well With:Milk, water, any protein mixes!!
Good source of complex carbs but the chocolate flavour isn't one that I would reccomend as the taste and smell aren't the best.
This is easily the best 'supplement' I've ever bought! Being a skinny guy I find it hard to put on muscle and working an office job there's no time to eat enough whole food to maintain a calorie surplus everyday. Mix two scoops of this with one scoop of protein and it comes in at about 440 calories! Two of those and I can easily hit my goal of 3000 calories per day. So far I've put on 5lbs of pretty lean mass in two months and I doubt I would have done it without this stuff. Also I personally like the taste/texture but I can see why people might not.Goes Well With:Natural strawberry protein
The bits of flower that can't be blended anymore made me gag and stuck on my teeth, the flavour is good apart from that. It's good for calories. Goes Well With:Milk defiantly not water
This was one of the first products i was very much looking forward to buying first, and i will easily buy it again and again! I have this every morning for my breakfast along with a banana, and i am easily full throughout the whole morning and up till dinner time! I would always mix this with milk so you get a bit more of a benefit out of the taste however, at first i realised it was irritating and hurting my throat a bit but, a few shakes later i never notice it now. It smells and tastes exactly like oats you would get from the shop and is just so more convenient and worth the money!Goes Well With:Milk Breakfast Banana
They dissolve well They help you reach your macros Good source of carbs And vanilla tastes great.
I use this every morning and mix in 40g of impact whey protein to it to give an unbelievable flavour. Its a steal of a price too!
Ordered this to mix with my whey protein after my workouts. Went for non flavoured as my whey is normally flavoured. Blends really well although you have be quick to start shaking, but that's fine. Little powdery when drinking but its kind of expected. Will continue to purchase from myprotein! Brilliant value for money
really good, usually have it for breakfast and gives me energy for hours
I started labouring full time and lost a stone of muscle in 3 months from over working (I still gymed every day) and from not being able to get enough calories into my diet to cope with the extra being burned. I train to keep a lean stomach and big up top but started loosing bulk fast after labouring. I started taking malt and oat powder to compensate for the extra work I was doing everyday. within 2 months i was beyond what I was before i started labouring size and weight wise. These carbs are simple but very effective. I still find it hard to fit in enough meals a day so two shakes with Oats, prote and malt in make up the difference everyday. If youre looking to bulk or just cant fit enough food into your schedule My Protein Oats and Malt is your answer.Goes Well With:Malt
Excellent, mixes well and keeps you fuller longer
This stuff tastes RANK! But on the plus side, it does exactly what it's supposed too. I've used this twice now and am just getting used to it in my system with a mix of protein powder aswell. Both the same flavor but the oats give it a grainy consistency in your mouth. Goes Well With:Milk, water
I was encouraged to buy some instant oats by a friend who uses them for a quick and easy breakfast instead of eating rubbish on the way too work. I personally use them as a makeshift weight gainer shake and breakfast. An ideas for a shake, 2 scoops oats, 2 scoops whey protein and 400 ml full fat milk is around 700 calories and not that thick. Regarding taste the protein is overpowered but i personally really like the taste and have found my perfect shake. I've made some serious clean gains recently but feel this is probably also been due a hard gainer. Overall I can't rate them enough for whatever use you go for, Just bought a 5kg bag. Goes Well With:Whey Protein
My friend bought 5kg of these oats but MyProtein didn't throw in a powder scoop. Good product though - tried it a couple of times and it keeps you going throughout the day.Goes Well With:Whey protein
I bought the undiscovered oats which on their own dont taste that great especially with water. I mix one scoop with almond milk which makes it taste better and makes it great value for money. I also use one scoop, a banana, either water or almond milk and some frozen berries and liquidize which makes a really tasty and filling smoothie. Goes Well With:Almond milk, water, any fruit
I like this product very much. I use it to turn my protein shakes into shakes for muscle growth. Mixes perfectly with everything. I tried the chocolate taste and it's delicious. Careful though, if you're not working out enough and in order to strip fat, you're going to put fat on, because of course it's a lot of carbs!Goes Well With:Milk, chocolate, Total protein, blueberries, raspberries.
If you're looking to increase your carbs with healthy options, then this is the one! Cheap, tastes incredible, mixes well in protein shakes and any baking what so ever (especially protein pancakes). Obviously, the results are the main thing here and they certainly give me the energy throughout the day and during my workout when needed! Goes Well With:Protein Shakes, Unsweetened Almond Milk, Baking, Water
Instant Oats is a brilliant product that I'd recommend to anyone looking for top quality carbs for a pre/post workout supplement. I bought this product to bulk up so I haven't recently seen any differences so I cannot comment on effectiveness. However, the taste of the unflavored version isn't nice at all but mixing it with some Cookies and Cream Impact Whey Protein turns it into a tasty treat. Goes Well With:Cookies and Cream Impact Whey Protein, Milk
ive ordered the unflavoured twice now and it mixes great with my true whey and weight gain both from here. i came here for the prices really low and seeing an athlete like Simeon Panda sponsored by these guys gave me extra confidence in using this more. they must being doing something right. , i want to document my growth with MYPROTEIN maybe one day when i reach the level of fitness i want to reach i will look back on this review and ill know this is were i really started taking this seriously. Goes Well With:true whey and weight gain
Great product, first tried this as it was free with another order but it's now a regular purchase. Go with the unflavoured and mix it with some milk and whey powder, peanut butter, berries etc to bulk it out, makes for a great snack between meals. Can't really fault this product — if I'm being picky, it doesn't always mix completely so best used with a blender if that bothers you, but it's another fantastic product from MP. Goes Well With:Anything.
Usually order chocolate which is great as an early morning pre-workout drink. Wasn't available last time so I ordered the unflavoured option. Pretty grim to the extent it has to have something added. A scoop of chocolate impact whey does the trick. Goes Well With:Unflavoured version needs to be mixed with something else.
Great to bulk out a protein shake and get some quick carbs at breakfast. Unflavoured instant oats leaves a nice "biscuity" taste to your shake. Look forward to it every morning and is a top incentive to get through my workout.
"I brought this whilst it was on offer(10kg unflavoured for £9.99!!) due to all the reviews being so positive and great. But it hasn't quite lived up to expectations in my opinion. I've found it doesn't mix great and leaves a very sandy/grainy texture in your mouth, I almost feel like gagging whilst drinking the product. I think the reccomended amount of instant oats to liquid is ridiculous...it's far too thick! I've tried with water and with milk and with (Choc smooth) impact whey and that makes it slightly better. It's just not a very pleasant taste, hopefully i'll get used to it because I've got 10kg to get through now but if i'm honest I would not recommend. On a plus side, it does leave you feeling quite full (almost bloated) and full of energy which I suppose is what it's meant to do. If I could handle the taste then maybe it would be better but as it is I find it hard to take. Might try out a few different combinations with hot milk or honey and cinamon to try and mask the taste!"
Really great to give you that boost after the gym is great to mix with your protein if you don't have time to eat after you work out 🙌Goes Well With:Whey Protein
I mix with protein to give it some flavour but it's filling definitely. But you definitely need to brush your teeth after where it's so thick. Goes Well With:Protein. Strawberry is nice.
Not great taste or consistency. However, if you add whey protein or a little honey it can turn in into a very bearable drink.Goes Well With:Whey protein, honey
First time I've bought the oats and they are good , mix easy just a little sweet might just try the unflavoured or another flavour next time .Goes Well With:Milk
Very good product. I ordered unflavoured. It tastes very good and mixes well with water and whey protein. Goes Well With:Water, whey protein
So I though I'd try this product as I eat porridge a lot and it's tiresome. Mixing in 100g of instant oats with 35g of impact whey and you've breakfast in a bottle!!. Nutritionally I can't fault it, macros are good but taste and mixability is where it falls short. Now we can't expect a miracle as it is powdered oats but the texture is left a little gritty and the taste is not the best. However focusing more on functionality, yea sure thus is a good product and will easily help you add extra calories to any mealGoes Well With:Water and impact whey. Not tried with anything else
Fantastic product! I use this mixed in with my Impact Whey Isolate protein to add in quality slow release carbs. This has helped me put on some serious size and muscle weight, I can't recommend this enough to other customers. I always buy the 5kg bag as it's really good value for money, adding two to three scoops into my protein shake keeps me feeling full and has made a big difference in my training. Goes Well With:Impact Whey Isolate (Chocolate Smooth)
Can I mix this with milk? As I tried it with water and I thought it was disgusting, it took me a good 10 minute to drink it just because of the taste, I think with milk it would be a lot nicer or even mix it with some milkshake powder?
A nice product for when you need something quick in the morning. I find if you let it stand after mixing it makes a thicker shake.Goes Well With:Mix unflavoured with a flavoured one to last longer with little effect on taste if mixed properly.
Love this product ! Got it for me but wife has taken over it, she uses 3 scoops of this oats with 1 scoop choc protein , mixes it well, and she has an instant 500cal shake! Two a day on top of her 3 main meals and shes on the right road to putting weight on.. shes underweight at the moment, high fibre so easy on the stomach and takes a min to make, perfect!Goes Well With:Whey Protein 1 scoop for the chocoloate flavour.
I am impressed with this product. As a pre-workout supplement, I have noticed the difference in my energy levels and it keeps me fuller for longer. It also mixes really well in the blender bottle. The Strawberry Cream flavour is a bit on the sweet side but the taste is still great! It has definitely helped with my weight gain so I would recommend this for anyone looking to bulk up.Goes Well With:Milk
I bought this two weeks ago as I started to follow a 'bulking' diet for the first time. I saw the good reviews and the price and decided to buy it. After having tried it I can say that the taste is quite neutral, which is good as I'm mixing it with milk so I just get the taste of the milk. The powder doesnt dissolve very well though, and even after a thorough shaking you still get a lot of clumps, which isn't a big problem, but it's still annoying. I haven't tried mixing it with anything other than milk and water yet so I can't comment on it's mixability, but it looks promising. Overall, I highly recommend this product, the price-quality relationship is great and it provides me with the carbohydrates I need for breakfast.Goes Well With:Milk.
Briiiant product, mix 2 scoops of your shake with it, and have it either wirh boiling water, maybe in the morning, or if wether is hot, mix it and the. Freeze it partly. Make soars and shake, amazing. If your dieting for a comp. You're aooreciate the many things you do with these. Like coating chicken with egg. Then smothering in oats, for amazing 100 percent chicken breast nuggets.Goes Well With:Many things.
I buy a lot of products from this site, & I honestly can't really fault any of it. I use instant oats every morning with my smoothies which consists of 1 chopped Banana, 4 table spoons of 0% fat natural yogurt, 2 frozen strawberries, a small handful of frozen blueberries, 5 ice cubes, 1 scoop of instant oats, 1 scoop of vanilla impact whey, & half a cup of Almond milk. I was using this recipe before purchasing the instant oats & it didn't really keep me going. Since adding the oats, it keeps me going to at least between 12 & 1pm before I start feeling hungry again! Abit of a grainy texture which doesn't bother me, & doesn't taste of anything so there's no over powering flavours in the smoothie mix. 5 stars from me!Goes Well With:Vanilla Impact Whey
Excellent product. Great way of getting some extra calories into your diet. Goes Well With:Mint choc whey protein
Fantastic product for the price, great if struggling to fit in more calories throughout your working day, mixes well enough with protein. Might try a flavoured one next time as the unflavoured powder (especially on its own isnt nice)Goes Well With:Impact Whey Protein, Creatine Mono
Pretty versatile product. You can add it to anything. I would recommend the unflavoured version because it is pretty much porridge. On it's own is a bit odd, but only because it's so smooth as compared to normal porridge oats. You'll want to mix it with something else in your blender or shaker, because it's best used to supplement protein in my opinion. Personally, I like to go a bit further. I put 2 scoops of unflavoured instant oats, 2 scoops whey isolate protein (also unflavoured), 1 small banana, 300ML water, 100ML skim milk, and mix it for 10 seconds or so in a blender at high power. It forms a very nice healthy drink with the consistency of a thick-shake with a great natural taste. It has good macros and it is very filling as well.Goes Well With:Protein and fruits
Good stuff. Would like a scoop though?!
