iBCAA powder is an instantised form of BCAAs (branch chain amino acids) providing a water soluble amino acid which results in greater uptake by the body.
Our iBCAA provides an instant mixing 2:1:1 combination of Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine, which dissolves rapidly in water whilst being much more available and usable by the working muscle.
BCAAs are required to maintain lean tissue, with studies showing that they help to preserve glycogen stores whilst preventing tissue breakdown during intense exercise. Unlike other amino acids BCAAs are not metabolised in the stomach and are instead metabolised directly in the muscle. This unique quality means that they help build lean tissue and prevent catabolism. These unique amino acids (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine) cannot be synthesised by your body so they are essential to your growth.
As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 5 grams 2 - 4 times daily for optimal results. Best consumed with your preferred amount of water or fruit juice.
Add 2 MP small scoops (5g) to your preferred amount of water or fruit juice and consume immediately.
1 x level MP Plastic Scoop (small) weighs 2.5g. (not included)

Quality product - used upon waking and intra workoutGoes Well With:EAA
much better than BCAA
- (21 / Jan / 2014)
it means you can have this in a pre workout with tuarine - beta alanine and creatine as a shot, and it all mixes!!
the BCAA does not mix!!
well worth the extra quid!
- (19 / Jan / 2014)
bought unflavoured to go with whey 60, dextrose and creatine in pre+post shakes. mixes well. seems to be taking the edge off my usual aches and pains. will definitely buy again.
- (15 / Jan / 2014)
BCAA's are a must have in my diet to ensure that I'm never catabolic. This product is fantastic. Easy to mix and get in my system as soon as required. I personally get unflavoured as I add it into a blend of other products.
Service and speed of delivery when ordering is second to none.
Goes Well With:I personally mix it with my protein whey protein powder( chocolate) post and pre workout

Value isn't the greatest, but mixes well and does the job it's designed for
- (10 / Jan / 2014)
It tastes funny but it does the job, and that's what counts. It's great value for money. Would recommend to all.Goes Well With:Dextrose, Oats, Protein
- (09 / Jan / 2014)
Tastes great, mixes well, have been using 5g 3x a day for the last week and a half, no noticeable effects yet but wouldn't expect that yet anyway. I got the Berry flavour, unflavoured apparently tastes much worse.Goes Well With:Water, Milk, Fruit Juice
Great BCAA product!
- (07 / Jan / 2014)
I've been using normal BCAA from MYPROTEIN, however, this time I decided to order iBCAA as it was on sale. Comparing it other one I can say that there is no more problems with mixing it and the taste is not bitter any more which is a plus. It is really effective product as I have noticed less muscle pain which allows me to do more precise reps. I also feel that muscles are pumped and harder. I truly recommend this product.Goes Well With:Water, oats, protein powder, anything
- (06 / Jan / 2014)
Great amino acid tastes great mixes well with water or milk if you prefer you really notice the difference within weeks of using the product!Goes Well With:Isolate whey protein

Tastes good and works but doesn't mix as well as from other companies.
- (09 / Dec / 2013)
I use 3-4 scoops in a shaker with water whilst at the gym and also use it as a drink during the day. They taste good and are easy to mix. The best product gaining size and strength and preventing lose of gains. 1 of my favourite products from mp.
- (09 / Dec / 2013)
A great product that works! I forgot to put my 5g into my protein shakes for 3 days and the DOMS almost killed me! I use unflavoured as my protein has flavour. I can't recommend this enough, I mix 5g with every shake. I have 4 per day, 1 for breakfast, 1 30 mins before workout, 1 straight after workout and 1 with milk just before bed. If you have DOMS (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness) then this is the product for you. Goes Well With:Impact whey protein
- (03 / Dec / 2013)
Yeah the unflavored variety tastes foul. like a strong alko seltzer. but it works. I've found my fat burns off whilst leaving my muscle mass alone. Definitely recommendGoes Well With:Cordial. Just mix BCAA into a diluted drink and the flavor won't bother you
- (22 / Oct / 2013)
It tastes foul but it's an essential amino-acids combo.
- (15 / Oct / 2013)
Great mixability, keeps energy leves up but the taste.. Tastes and smells like handsoap. Goes Well With:Water..
- (14 / Oct / 2013)
I mix 2 scoops of iBCAA with about 200-250ml of water and then add a splash of orange to dilute and sip away while doing my workout. Doing it this way makes it just like an orange drink and very easy to drink. It seems to mix very well with that amount of liquid as well. I find my workouts are very effective and consistent while taking this. The only reason I gave it a 3 for taste is if taking it without a splash of dilute, cause then it isn't particularly tasty.
- (27 / Sep / 2013)
The taste of iBCAA is very bitter but who cares about the taste if it's doing a good job?! It mixes no bother and is an essential supplement for me!Goes Well With:Impact whey
- (26 / Sep / 2013)
Cheap BCAA's with quite good taste!
- (19 / Sep / 2013)
iBCAA is an excellent product, the new formula mixes so much better now. Pop it in with your protein shake or mix it on its own with juice and it is perfect. This is an essential part of my pre and post workout stack. Goes Well With:Impact Whey Deluxe and Milk Protein smooth. Strawberry Cream.
- (17 / Sep / 2013)
The unflavoured is that it has no flavour and mixes well with either a protein shake our just water...would defiinitely recommend this product...
- (09 / Sep / 2013)
Simple, effective and essential.
Adding a small scoop of these to the vegan blend have really helped me recover from training allowing me to now train 5-6 days a week and see good results whilst not getting exhausted. Simply essential for me and my regime.
Goes Well With:Vegan blend, essential greens.
- (07 / Sep / 2013)
I use iBCAA as a tasty drink during my workout. Good flavour and good way to get the fuel the muscle needs.
Feedbackyour products sre by far
- (06 / Sep / 2013)
Your products by far are more value for money than others. The effectiveness of iBCAA is excellent too.
- (06 / Sep / 2013)
iBCAA isn't what I expected it to be but it's not bad. I thought it's going to taste better and mix easier but it's okay and I'll continue to use it because it's little better then regular BCAA in my opinion.Goes Well With:glutamine
iBCAA - It ain't tasty
- (05 / Sep / 2013)
Got the unflavoured variety of this product to put in shakes and drinks throughout the day. All I can say is this is not a nice tasting powder. Anything you put it in will not taste as nice as it was before you put it in. Tried fruit blends, double choc protein shake, orange juice, coffee. Basically, it dissolves ok and tastes like unpleasant aspirin. Solution: chuck it in some water, gulp it down, then drink your nice drink. Don't spoil a nice flavoured drink with it.
Get past that bit (and it really is a minor annoyance) and the results are excellent. I would definitely say tablets are easier but this is far more controllable and I feel it is processed more quickly. Good product and important in any serious fitness or workout programmeGoes Well With:water (and not much else)
- (02 / Sep / 2013)
I'm a newb so too early really to say how effective these are, but definitely seeing some gains (but taking other supps too). Mixability with these is good and dissolves fairly well in water. Taste isn't great though in a shake - much better to add to fruit juice/dilute along with creatine. Really spoilt taste of shakes I found.Goes Well With:Creatine
BCAA Jamie Tate

iBCAA works wonders, workouts which would usually destroy my muscles and make them ache for days, now don't matter. I would recommend taking it once before your workout, once during your session and then once after. I follow that and my muscles don't ache, meaning I can workout just as hard the next day. I'm just not a huge fan of the berry blast flavour but that's the only downside.Goes Well With:Water and orange juice
- (13 / Aug / 2013)
Great product! Started taking 5g am, 5g pre workout and 10g after workout. Really notice a difference in energy levels. Can't comment beyond that as I have not been using the product long enough.
As for taste, and texture, it's pretty much the same as dissolvable aspirin. Of you can tabs the taste of that, then you will be fine with this. I find it goes well in a cup of coffee in the morning without really being noticeable.
Will continue to use this product as it is far better value for money than the tablets.
- (13 / Aug / 2013)
Tried this as I was told my body would absorb more of it than the BCAA tablets I was taking. I had great results and effectiveness with the BCAA tablets so was expecting great things from the iBCAA.. Well, I'd say it works as I never felt any worse while training and seemed to be gradually getting better, but man, the taste is terrible. I mix it with creatine, beta alanine and whey protein and the taste of the iBCAA is over powering. I end up necking it trying not to taste it. I've also tried it with casine, and it's better but urgh! I've taken a break from it, but think I'll be going back to the normal BCAA tablets.Goes Well With:I haven't found anything it goes well with.. yet.
- (08 / Aug / 2013)
I had the runs a little when I first started taking this, was a bit harsh on my stomach. I reduced the dosage to just one scoop rather than the 2 stated and this problem stopped. Doesn't really taste of anything if mixed with juice, seem to be getting good results. I would definitely buy again.Goes Well With:creapure
- (07 / Aug / 2013)
I believe this BCAA`s are good, it is obvious you can fell the difference it is not one of that products you see and feel that is working you need to have faith, on the other hand they taste quite bad but after a week or so you get used to them, I would recommend you to mix them with Pulse V4 which is a pre-workout that really helps with the taste.Goes Well With:Pulse V4
Great intra-workout supp
- (07 / Aug / 2013)
Been using iBCAA for over 4 months and is a must when i re-order. Great number of BCAA'S in this product which feed's you as you work out and stops me from going catabolic. A great product and a great price, mixes well and tastes good.Goes Well With:water.
- (05 / Aug / 2013)
iBCAA is a great product. The mixability and flavour are really good. I use this 2 times a day, once in the morning and in my workout drink with creatine. I've had good results so far.Goes Well With:creatine, beta alanine etc.
- (30 / Jul / 2013)
Mixes well, does what it says on the tin/bag....good value for money, minimal taste. Good all round product.
- (25 / Jul / 2013)
Amazing product, mixes instanty and tastes great.
My strength and workouts have improved.
Highly recommended. Goes Well With:Whey hydrolosate
- (22 / Jul / 2013)
iBCAA is great tasting and mixes a lot better than the original bcaas. I've been trying to trim up for the summer whilst trying to limit muscle loss, and so far so good using this supplement!Goes Well With:Impact whey
- (18 / Jul / 2013)
This product is awful. It tastes disgusting, doesn't mix well at all, very gritty, doesn't have any impact on training
Didn't mix as well as I'd hoped
- (17 / Jul / 2013)
Bought this after having issues with the standard BCAA powder not mixing in my water.
If you want it to dissolve straight away you'll be very disappointed. Wait for 5/10 mins and it will dissolve quite well, but I find that if I leave the standard one that long it will mix better anyway, so I don't think it's worth the extra money.
- (15 / Jul / 2013)
iBCAA is excellent, and a very important supplement for those who take training seriously.Goes Well With:Glutamine
Good taste and mixing
- (10 / Jul / 2013)
No complaints with this product. It does mix well, although it's best if you can leave it for 5 or 10 minutes before you drink it, as all the little nasty bits dissolve after this time. Tastes good and is none sticky - just like a refreshing fruity drink for before / during / after training, with the benefits of BCAA's.Goes Well With:Hard training
- (09 / Jul / 2013)
iBCAA mixes easily and tastes like BCAA (bitter). Overall, great stuff for stretching my berry blast BCAA a bit. Tastes vile on its own, though.Goes Well With:Berry blast BCAA
- (04 / Jul / 2013)
Extremely bad taste! I couldn't bare to drink it so I can't rate the effectiveness unfortunately.Goes Well With:throwing up
- (20 / Jun / 2013)
The berry blast iBCAA tastes amazing! I always look forward to drinking it. I take 10g (4 mp spoons) before working out. I can't really tell if I feel a difference, but it's BCAA and it must do the job.Goes Well With:300ml of water, and whey
- (19 / Jun / 2013)
iBCAA is a good supplement to include in your diet if you're looking to add lean muscle. I have found that taking this first thing in the morning and before and during training has helped - alongside a proper diet. This product is instantised to help with absorption.
The unflavoured version has a very bitter taste, it's certainly not neutral in flavour (like creatine is) and i find it hard to swallow even when mixed with squash or a protein shake and it's very gritty so it doesn't mix completely. I would avoid unflavoured in future. There are better BCAA powders available, but then they cost a bit more...Goes Well With:strong cordial to hide the flavour!
- (18 / Jun / 2013)
Without a doubt BCAAs are a key supplement to aid in muscle recovery and lean tissue growth. The taste took a couple of usages to adjust to, but all round a good product. I have noticed increases in muscle size and recovery period, but this is partly due to improved diet and more focused training.
My only gripe is that the second order of BCAAs has a slightly different taste and consistency to the first order, neither of which is nicer than the first.
- (12 / Jun / 2013)
iBCAA is good stuff, it tastes a bit weak like very watery squash. It mixes okay but by it's nature it will have bits.
- (12 / Jun / 2013)
iBCAA is good but doesn't mix at all and is very gritty! There must be better options out there.
Matt The Bull
- (11 / Jun / 2013)
I must say that this tastes as bad as an ancient persian rug that someone had died on 100 years ago, and was left to decompose on it. and it does not mix at all, its like trying to mix sand into water.
But it works so well. it helps me pile on the muscle and helps stop the pain. So the results are brilliant so I shouldnt really complain.Goes Well With:Nothing can get rid of that taste!
Impact Whey, Creatine mono, L-Glutamine
Good, could be better
- (10 / Jun / 2013)
iBCAA is exactly what it says and does what it says! The only two issues I've had is the taste and mixability.
The taste of the unflavoured is pretty foul and I'd recommend adding a juice/squash instead of just water. Personally I use it with my pre-workout, craze. However you are still able to taste it through that.
This version of Myprotein's BCAA is advertised as "water-soluable" however it rarely, or if not at all, mixes and dissolves. I'm often greeted by a mouth full of grit. As someone who blends oats with their shake I'm usually used to bits but what is left is very gritty and hard to take down.
Overall, apart from the points above, it's a great product and good for value for money.
- (04 / Jun / 2013)
The iBCAA is not the best in taste but it does the job. Can't complain for what you get!
