Creatine Ethyl Ester (CEE) is a more effective variant of the popular dietary supplement Creatine Monohydrate. As the Creatine Monohydrate has been attached to an ester salt it is generally easier for the body to absorb it when combined to alternative sources.
CEE helps provide a quick boost of ATP to the working muscles which in turn facilitates improvements in lean mass, strength and power. Easy to use providing fantastic results, Creatine Ethyl Ester is recommended to anyone who wants to improve their physique and sporting performance with no side effects.
Creatine Ethyl Ester is an advanced supplement that takes the basic Creatine Monohydrate and boosts its constitution with the addition of ester salts. These ester salts make it more easily absorbed and ease uptake by your cells. Some of the benefits of CEE over traditional forms of Creatine are related to the fact that smaller doses are required to get the same effect, whilst the bloating and preloading phase are eliminated.
If you don't like the taste of Creatine Ethyl Ester powder, why not try our CEE Tablets?
CEE is perfect for athletes looking to improve strength, power and lean mass. It is a great option for those who suffer bloating or discomfort from other forms of creatine.
We suggest you take Creatine Ethyl Ester around 1 hour before a workout. On non-workout days take at the same time as a workout day. After 4-6 weeks of continued use take 1-2 week off and start period again.

Only had this a couple days but the unflavored one tastes and smells like MCAT or something. Its vile. Id recommend mixing it with paint thinners to improve taste.
Best valued Creatine I have brought to date and it works out cheaper than Monohydrate in the long run, as you use less per serving per day and thus it will last you over twice as long. Also noticed strength gain after only 1 week of use! The only downside is it's "unflavoured" taste (it's rank, but just neck it), either way, I will still only buy the unflavoured version, as you get more Creatine per serving, instead of flavourings added.
Firstly the bad: when Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is mixed with water, it's like trying to drink down a bottle of bleach with potassium powder and salt added; less than pleasant! It won't make you gag, it will just make you wonder if it's suitable for human consumption and force you to pull contorted faces, like licking a lemon while rubbing salt in your eye. However, if mixed with blackcurrant squash it seems to become far more tolerable. Don't try adding it to a protein shake though, it just makes it worse! Now for the good: Having used this for a couple of weeks now, taking one scoop a day, I have noticed some decent increases in muscular endurance. Not so much strength itself, but I'm able to keep the same weight going for more reps/ sets than previous. It's definitely a noticeable increase, and certainly worth the the money I paid for it. To conclude; if you don't mind drinking bleach, and you've hit a plateau, then this is a worth while purchase. If you struggle to chug a regular shake, then don't bother with this!
People need to man up. Yes it taste really bad but if you want a nice drink go to McDonalds and order yourself a milk shake. I get this stuff for results and it has been proven to work.
Just a quick review. I've used Creatine Monohydrate before when I last took my physique seriously (life has since got in the way) and I'd always end up with stomach cramps. It generally just made me feel poorly. It effects, however, were noticeable when going for those last few reps. This stuff, however, is a lot lot better. No loading phase, and I believe it works better. It could all just be in my head though, but it's at least as effective as the monohydrate. It requires no loading, and I have no stomach upsets with it - so it's far preferable to the traditional creatine. One thing though, that has been said plenty, is the taste. Not that is should matter, as this job of these supplements is not to taste good, nor is it designed to get any Michelin stars, it's to help you gain the best from your training. However, that being said, this stuff is definitely one of the harder things to get down your throat. I've tried different ways to get it over and done with quicker - even just spooning the powder into my mouth and washing it down with fresh orange - in the hope to get it over quickly (bad idea by the way!). I've tried mixing it with a freshly brewed, and cooled, espresso - hoping that the coffee bitterness would mask it - no luck I'm afraid. Tried mixing it with shakes, milk, juices, etc. The most palatable method for taking this, for me anyway, is simply dissolving the correct dose completely in about 50ml of water. Stir it until it's clear, it'll only take a minute, then take it down like a shot. I'm guessing that with it being completely dissolved, it is picked up less by your taste buds, as it's definitely more palatable than any other way - although it's still rank. Anyway, if you have a sensitive stomach, as I do with IBS, then you'd be best using this over the monohydrate. The lack of a loading phase is also beneficial. And if you really can't cope with the taste, there's always the capsules - at a massively inflated cost per dose compared to the powder - but it's regularly on some form of promotion. I've yet to try the capsules, but I fail to see how they'd be any less effective. Goes Well With:Nothing, but gets as good as it gets dissolving in about 50ml of water.
"This is the worst thing i have tasted. No matter what you mix it with, it still tastes like washing powder . I've been taking creatine for about 14 years on and off, and this stuff is terrible. I just started it, so i'll comment again as soon as i know if it has any effect."
My advice to get around the horrible taste is to bomb it. Buy rice paper -> break into 4 -> wet 1 quarter of the rice paper and place on a plate -> add scope of creatine -> fold rice paper around the creatine -> place on tongue -> drink water. No foul taste! Great product, noticeable increase in strength after 2 weeks. Goes Well With:Rice paper!
This is the most discusting tasting creatine supplement ever, however seems to work quickly.ive been taking with orange juice but have struggled with the aftertaste.this morning I added honey and was surprised to find the aftertaste not as bad.
Very effective and cheap in comparison to similar products of other brands. Very bad taste because it's an Ethyl Ester version and this is totaly normal ... never bothered me. I put it in capsules Vcaps00 and drink them with water so no need to taste anything.Goes Well With:Vcaps00
This product overall is great. Very effective and very cheap in comparison to other brands.... as always great value from myprotein. I never ever usually moan about taste in any supplements sometimes you get some that taste bad sometimes you get some that are enjoyable but generally it's never bothered me..... However.... To sum it up....If AIDS had a flavour this would be it..... I have had various concoctions in my lifetime... this is certainly up there with one of the worst tastes I've experienced ... Goes Well With:Anything strong enough to mask a potent flavour.
I normally purchase the regular MP creatine Monohydrate every month but tried this for a change as it was part of one of MP's amazing deals. I had a choice between the batch tested creatine (better quality than the regular creatine I have been told) or this product (which is supposed to reducing bloating). Whilst I love the gym lifestyle I love my food to much to ever be the guy with the best abs in the room but thought I'd give it a try. Whilst I have never been worried about bloating before I can attest that this does make a small difference in bloating compared to the regular MP creatine. The only downside though is that it tastes absolutely awful. I'm not one to complain about the taste of supplements typically as I don't buy them for the taste but this is just the worst. I normally put my leftover previous months products in the new order I receive -it ain't happening. I would normally put this in a shake in the morning and after the gym -it ain't happening. I'm impressed with the results and will continue to use in the future but without mixing it into another supplement and just bolt it with some strong cordial.Goes Well With:Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
The best form of creatine I ever try withot stomach cramps like with creatine monohydrate. No loading like creatine monohydrate and water retention. I have try all forms of creatine but Creatine Ethyl Ester is the best and effective. Goes Well With:Arginine
I have not taken any supplement except for protein whey, but i started a low calorie diet and felt i needed something to stop muscle loss during this phase. The results have been good with increase in strength rather than the expected decline because of the diet. The downside to this products is its taste, would purchase tablet form next time.Goes Well With:mix with yoghurt it helps
Dispite the battery acid like taste of the unflavoured creatine, it does exatly what it says on the package. Mix it with a bit of juice and it helps with the taste but overall its a great product.Goes Well With:Whey Protein
Tastes awfull so add to a shot of ribena or lime juice cordial allow it to soak up some juice and shot it can barely taste it Goes Well With:Taurine
Despite the taste this is by far the best creatine version existing which also mixes excellently. The taste is well.. just the taste, trust me it's absolutely bearable if you phisically pinch your nose before lifting the glass to your mouth and release once you've swallowed and the glass is away, only a little bitterness is left in your mouth. I totally recommend the product and the method :) Goes Well With:Water, pinched nose, sore muscles.
Been using this product for 2 weeks now combined with l-arginine alpha keto 1 hr before and post workout on an empty stomach and have noticed a considerable difference in strength and size of pump. Apart from the taste it appears to be working like a gem. Want def buy again. Goes Well With:Nothing - just water for fast Absorption. Just have a clean glass of water on hand to wash the taste away.
Great product gives you that added pump!! Taste is not good but get used to it
yes this tastes rank, a bit like 10 crushed tablets in a glass of salt water, but mixed with a strong cordial its fine. The stuff is good, i've only been taking it a week and i can already see some small difference, in that my arms get a massive pump and my workouts are a lot more intense. Gona keep it going for another 6 weeks to see what happens. Definitely give it a try though.Goes Well With:water with orange cordial
I know that there is scientific studies to back up the fact that there is pretty much no difference between this and CM, but I've always found i react better to CEE. Loads more Energy and focus in the Gym. Don't mix it with any other supplements you'll just ruin them, neck with some juice then enjoy your pre work-out!!! Goes Well With:Holding your nose and swallowing!! Pulse v4
This tastes like somebody put creatine into a blender with an alkaline battery and let it roll until the battery is totally dissolved. My tongue and mouth gets numb after drinking this. Can't taste any salt. Does not affect my weight (very individual response though, regular creatine doesnt work either).Goes Well With:Strong juice concentrates
This is a fantastic product, you notice results best on your second cycle! The taste isn't the best but once you endure it the results come quite promptlyGoes Well With:Mi-wadi tropical flavour
CEE is the best creatine form I have ever tried. Unlike monohydrate it hasn't filled me up with water which is a good thing. Helped me to get bigger and stronger over the many years of use.
It's tastes revolting but if you have it with dilute you can't taste it , only been taking it for around two week now noticed that my arms look fuller which is a big positive
Used for a few days now. Yes it tastes vile but it goes. Tye results you get in the gym though are phenomenal. May seem like an exaggeration bit its true.
Yea as others say it doesn't taste nice... But it works. Unlike the normal monohydrate there is no loading period. I used to mix 1g of this stuff with just 2g of m.p s normal cheap monohydrate pre and post and it worked, a very cheap small and yet effective dose.
Does exactly what it says. Can work for some may not work for all worked for me as an athlete.
What can I say its a good product but it tastes like acid. Take it as a shot with some lime or lemon juice to reduce the after taste. My suggestion would be spend a little more and buy it in tablet form.
Tastes foul but you quickly get used to it and eases off a little when mixed with either some whey or a pint of fruit cordial. 5 weeks into using it and I can tolerate the taste now. May take a minute or so to fully dissolve when mixed and the product will settle in it's packaging so you'll need to break up the lumps that are formed. Performance wise I feel stronger when working out, always feel like I can fit one more set in or push out that final rep when I'm getting fatigued. I've never used creatine mono so can't compare the effectiveness to that but CEE works well for me and is one of my essential supplements along with BCAA and arginine.Goes Well With:Whey/BCAA/Arginine
Timing this product correctly and staying in a calorie surplus will provide noticeable results over a calorie surplus alone. The only downside to this product is the bitter taste. You do get used to the taste after a few days though.
Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is the best creatine out there, the way I got around the bad taste was to mix it with blackcurrant cordial. I have the creatine in around 500ml water and add 100ml cordial it takes a few goes before you start getting used to it, and just think of it as a sour cordial drink. But in all seriousness, man up and down it! It's worth it in the end.Goes Well With:blackcurrant cordial with water
I have tried Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL and found it tastes awful but taken with fruit juice and palatinose which is sweet it tastes great with no after taste and also works fantastic.Goes Well With:fruit juice and palatinose
First things first, lets talk about the taste. CEE contains amino acids and as such, has a very strong acidic taste. It is not pleasant to drink with water. However I have found it bearable to drink with Grapefruit Juice. Once you get over the taste you can enjoy the benefit of fast absorption and an increase in energy and strength. If you are in doubt about the taste and don't mind waiting a week or two to fully absorb the creatine, go for a standard Monohydrate which is flavorless.Goes Well With:Grapefruit & Orange Juice.
Despite the unpleasant taste of this Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL it seems to be working well. It took a few days for my body to get used to it but I seem to be seeing a difference in the gym. Very pleased so far.Goes Well With:Squash. Strong squash!
In my opinion, the taste of this Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is not amazing but if you just down it, it won't matter. I felt stronger and like I could go for longer when I used this and I have put on 3 pounds already in just 2 weeks! I would defiantly buy this again - it's a great product and great value.
I first started using Creatine Ethyl Ester 5 years ago and I noticed a total change in the way I worked out within a week. I found that I could train longer and gained size quite quickly, so I was very happy with the result.
Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL tastes absolutely disgusting! That is if you make the mistake of choosing the unflavoured pouch!
I have found this Protein Dessert works great, however it tastes rancid. I have tried adding it to various squashes, juices and shakes and found the best method is to empty the spoon of CEE on the back of my tongue and immediately take a gulp of lemon squash to wash it straight down and then finish off with the of the pint of squash. The taste is then isolated to the back of the tongue instead of the whole mouth.
The taste of Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is awful. I use neat Ribena and a spoon of glucosse and neck it, it's well worth the nasty taste.
I've used Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL now for the 2nd time and it's great although the taste isn't good and it can play a little on your body. There are 4 golden rules to go by and you'll have no trouble what so ever. Eat before you use it (stops the creatine coming straight out the other end), mix it with juice or lemonade (take 20 mins before work out to allow gas out if using lemonade or coke). Drink it through a straw (the last batch gave me mouth ulcers so went off it, I used a straw this time and no problems), train hard and drink plenty of water. Using them rules, I find it brilliant, with great gains and good pump and it's also good to mix with or have along side it a small can of Red Bull or the cheap version I get from Asda.Goes Well With:protein
Yes, the taste of Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is bad. Mix it with pure orange juice, about 10ml of liquid is enough. Have another cup of drink (squash) ready beside you. Knock the creatine back like a shot, then grab the cup of squash rinse it round your mouth then swallow. It is not that bad. It gives great recovery, lots of energy, and no side effects. It does make you feel stronger. Goes Well With:Pure juice
Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is the best supplement I've taken so far. I have noticed results with about a week of taking it. I mix 5 grams with 500ml of water and add some strong double concentrate cordial to take the the foul taste away this still leaves a bad after taste but does a good job of eliminating the bad taste. Goes Well With:Very strong cordial juice
Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is foul, and you pull a face like you're sucking on a lemon, but I've found if you mix it with cranberry juice and neck it back, and have a mouthful of juice straight after it's OK. The taste doesn't linger, and now I don't mind taking it at all.Goes Well With:Cranberry Juice
The first time I had this Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL on its own, it's vile and hard to drink. I wasn't expecting anything else really. The second time I mixed it with Jack 3D, which is sickly sweet and 200ml of water so both seemed to even each other out. There is still a touch of after taste there but you just have to man up I guess. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I seem to be making considerable gains for the price.Goes Well With:Anything to blend out the taste
Never have I ever tasted something as vile as this Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL! The mix-ability is great as it dissolves straight away, however, I was unprepared for the taste that comes with it, and as a result, I covered my sink in protein shake, after spitting it out. I ordered it with the standard whey, I tried the strawberry cream flavour and I have never tasted a shake as good as that! Just like drinking yazoo. I had to add two heaped scoops instead of one with the creatine, just to making it bearable to drink. That said I'm going to try it with some strong cordial next time it's due. Goes Well With:Something very strong.
I have used the Creatine Ethyl Ester pills before and they certainly work better than creatine monohydrate, in my opinion, so I thought I'd buy the powder. It is the worst tasting thing I have ever tried to drink. I am not exaggerating when I say that drinking vodka mixed with bleach would probably taste better. If you can handle downing half a cup of vodka-bleach before and after your workout, then you will be able to use this supplement fine. But if not, I would strongly advice you buy the tablet form. I have since thrown this product away as it is unusable in my opinion. Truly disgusting taste!Goes Well With:Nothing can make this product not taste horrible, sorry.
I did think at first that people were exagerating the taste of this stuff but after trying it with water i now know they weren't. I found that i'm having to mix it with apple juice or orange juice to drink it but even then there is an aftertaste of it. The most annoying thing is that it comes like grip chalk, clumps of it that need real effort to break. That said it does dissolve fully quite well with juat some stiring.
I have tried many creatine forms in my 4 years of training and have found none of them giving me any benefits. I have tried creatine mono-hydrate, creatine glucose, etc. Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL tastes really bad but that doesn't bother me that much. I mix it with my Mutant Mass before a workout and after a workout. I have definitely noticed that you don't need to 'load up' like the other creatine forms. Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL has given me what I need from my workouts. Improved ongoing strength and power increase week by week. I can definitely recommend this to people looking to get stronger.Goes Well With:PVL- Mutant Mass
Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL tastes awful, but mix it with a protein drink 30mins before a work out and it works well, as there is no loading up it is very easy to cycle every 6 weeks or so. You can spend a fortune on loading up with normal creatine 5 times a day for a week, with this you can just stop and start no fuss.Goes Well With:Needs mixing in a strong tasting protein shake
I vomited the first time I tried Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL, and the second time I was gagging for about 20 minutes after. I'm sure it's great if you can swallow it.Goes Well With:no taste buds
