I think this is an essential - especially if you sweat as much as I do (Niagara Falls of the forehead anyone?). Mix it with bog standard Robinson's squash and you effectively have a cheaper and better version of many of the 'Isotonic' drinks on the market. Also great for hang-overs I should add...

Brilliant!
I must say, that I was quite surprise how effective this product is. The first time when I tried it, I accidentally mixed it with my BCAA :D but to be honest, I've never had so much energy and endurance! Had an hour and a half circuit program with weights, and at the end, I still felt, that I have more energy and can do more. Don't really know if it's okay to mix the BCAA powder with the electrolytes, but it's an awesome combination :) I've tried them on their own, as well, and I'm quite happy with them. I don't have any more cramps :) Goes Well With:Orange juice BCAA Powder (flavoured) Ayran (yoghurt, mixed with water and instead of salt, you can add the electrolytes) - but I would't drink it during workout.

Electrolyte powder
This Electrolyte powder is awesome! There is a salty taste however that's the nature of electrolytes and when mixed with orange juice it is unnoticeable.

"Great product. Those that say it doesn't mix are using too much powder, from personal experience 1 gram mix well even in cool water (which has a lower saturation point). As for the taste, most think it's disgusting on here but for some reason I have no issue with the taste-all electrolyte powders taste the same anyway. If using squash that's quite sour this powder actually makes the taste more neutral and easier to drink. Must buy for those that sweat a lot during exercise, I think electrolytes are more essential than protein itself. Nearly. No side-effects whatsoever!"

Goodbye Migraines
I play football a lot throughout the week and recently started getting very bad migraines after the game which resulted in vomiting later. Ever since I started putting this powder in my drink it has stopped. Don't know whether its just cos I'm having a lot more water now than before but its helped. I have also noticed I have a lot more energy during the game. I normally have a litre of water couple hours before playing with two scoops and have it during the match too. I only knew about this product after reading an interview by Sonny Williams (NZ rugby player) who always has it so I thought why not give it a try. one of my best purchases from myProteinGoes Well With:Filtered Water but for taste add them juice drops.

You cannot argue against science
Sweat loss means loss of salts (electrolytes). Salts are required for efficient performance. This product has the right ingredients (i'm no chemist but I did my homework), mixes well and tastes as it should (it's salt, of course it's salty). Apparently an average sweat loss per hour is 0.5-2.0L. Apparently an average litter of sweat lost has 2.6g of salts. I know I sweat more than those numbers, and I know that I get headaches if I don't hydrate properly, and by that I mean adding electrolytes to my drinks, whether during or after the workout. I haven't nailed down the amounts I should use because i'm scared to add 5g of salts for every hour that I work out, and I know that the food I'll eat will likely make up for a lot of the salts lost in the first place, but so far I've been adding a little scoop (the one that comes with the bag) in every bike bottle I drink and this already goes a long way. Those bottles are 0.75L. I usually go through 1 bottle per hour when on the bike. More when working out in the (warm) gym doing circuits. Anecdotally, i also put 40-50g of sugars in each bottle (equal volume mix of fructose, palatinose and maltodextrin).

Useful for Sports
Have used this the last few months as part of my pre and post match/training drinks. I have found that it helps ensure that I am fully hydrated before a session and that I have not removed all essential salts from drinking water all day. Greatly reduced cramping and increased hydration comfort during sport (Gaelic Football)
