What does Biltong taste like?
Our Biltong comes in a range of mouth-watering flavours, so there’s something for everyone.
If you want the classic taste of biltong, then our Traditional is for you. It’s unflavoured beef biltong just as it should be. For those that like a spicy kick, that isn’t too overpowering, we’ve got our delicious Chilli flavour. And finally, our BBQ flavour delivers that rich smoky taste, that’ll make you think its fresh off the barbeque.
What’s the difference between Biltong and Beef Jerky?
Biltong and beef jerky are very similar. They’re both seasoned, dried meat, but there are also a few key differences.
Biltong is traditionally made from thicker cuts of meat, slowly air-dried for a long period of time, and sliced into bite-sized pieces — creating succulent strips of beef. This makes Biltong softer in texture, while beef jerky has a tougher steak-like chew.
