      This stuff is the dogs balls! I only take 2 a day because they are strong enough! They are a bit big but doesn't make any difference. I haven't had any spots on my body, illnesses and I always feel energetic. I can't recomment this enough!

      This guy below me doesn't have a clue what he is talking about The RDA for a healthy 19-50 year old man is 1000-1200 mg of calcium and two of these capsules will give you a total of 346 mg, four of them will give you 692 mgs. This is a perfectly safe product

      People's complaints regarding the calcium levels in this product is garbage; if you read the 'nutritional information' dosage, it refers to a 2 tablet serving containing 346mg calcium. Although i'm no maths whiz, my calculations seem to point me at the grand total of 692mg calcium per daily dose, as opposed to the grossly exaggerated 1384mg referred to above. This leaves you with 308mg that you can ingest from your food to fill your daily quota. Just thought i'd point that out so no-one was put off.

      dont listen to kevin mullen review about too much calcium as he has misread the amount of calcium its not 1384mg per daily doe its actually 692 so no problems at all. this is a great tablet doe s a great job if you struggle to get in all the right nutrients and vitamins throughout the day.

      This Product contains far too much calcium. 1384mg per daily dose: this is 400% more than the RDA healthy 19 year old - 50 year old man. Unlilke other vitamins and minerals which if taken in excess are excreted in the urine and overdose is not dangerous (e.g. Vitamin C), calcium has a number of health problems associated with elevated calcium levels. It gives me a sore throat due to calcium deposits on the throat. Other health problems include Kidney stones. Remember 140% RDA is before your normal daily intake of calcium from food - after you take into account your normal daily intake, you're probably looking at 2000mg 200% RDA - way too much!

      I definitely noticed a positive difference within a couple of days, although as with all things, this may have well been some type of placebo effect. I was using a `Boots/Superdrug' Multivit prior and never really felt the benefits. I am currently using Alpha Male along side my Impact Diet Whey, CLA and Thermo Max Extreme and feel I have good energy and wellbeing all round. I train 3-4 times a week circa 1 hour of cardio and some reasonable weights aimed at endurance and I am expecting these to supplement me well as well as keep colds and flu at bay. Will report back with more further down the line.

      Product has given me so much more energy and has made me feel better about working out. People are complaing about the taste but the tiny after taste you do get is easily washed away with water so do not let this put you off and even then the after taste really isnt bad. Buying this product again for sure. (Y) High recommend if you do not eat enough vitamins through food. Brilliant replacement.

      Very good multivit. I have been using it for about 6 months, and do feel a lot better than I did before. People are complaining about the taste, but I literally can't taste anything. It's the smell that's horrible. I just hold my breath a second before I open the tub, and start breathing again once I have closed it and gulped the tablet down.

      I have been taking these for 6 months or so now, and started because I was getting colds regularly during marathon training. I haven't had one since and they also seem to be 80% effective in preventing hangovers, which as a student leads to a lot less missed training. They taste and smell awful, but that just makes you swallow them quicker. Well worth a buy if you find yourself regularly under the weather.

      My training consists of two sessions a week of weights, two sessions of cardio, one session of BJJ, one session of thai boxing. Theres three supplements I would consider as staples. A decent protein blend of whey,egg and milk (sometimes this is myprotein total peptide), super omega three, and these babys. Cant really comment on taste or mixability, just take two in the mornings with breakfast, and another two at night with my evening meal. I definitely have higher energy levels and generally do feel better, also had the radioactive pee. You definitely get what you pay for with these compared to supermarket multivitamins. But remember they are supplements, and are meant to do just that, supplement, not replace, the vitamins obtained from a healthy diet.

      For all those making the "fluorescent pee" comments, this happens because you don't eat before you take the tablets, you are peeing your vitamins (money) into the drain, trust me! You have to have a good meal before you take the tablets so that the vitamins can be better absorbed and transported by your body! Make sure you swallow it with plenty of fluid as well! Other then than, amazing multivitamins, great value for money!

      Finished a tub of these now and am very happy with them. Previously I was only taking a supermarket multivitamin, since taking these I have noticed an improvement in my overall feeling of well being, although they haven't helped me with my colds, which I am prone to anyway. They definately get absorbed by the body well as you will find out when you go to the toilet and your pee is fluorescent! Makes aiming in the dark really easy lol. Quite possibly the best multi vit on the market for the price and I will continue to buy. I do think the recommended serving of 2 in the morning and 2 at night is a bit much unless you are a pro or somehting, I just take 1 in the morning and 1 at night, tub lasts twice as long and you still get the benefits.

      MP please put the N/A option in Mixability and Taste as some products just can't be mixed and/or have no taste... As stated by others this product is really difficult to review but at the same time it's easy to see the benefits from all the ingredients. If you look at what it provides and do some research then I would say this is a rather extensive supply of important vitamins, minerals, acids, etc. If you had to take all these supplements you would easily end up taking loads of tabs or have to eat varied food every day. I am not saying that you can stop eating a healthy and varied food with Alpha Men but it's not always possible with the busy life style these days. This is why it gets 5 stars from me.

      This is quite difficult to review. I'm not sure how all of the other reviewers can pin point the effects of a tablet seeing as there are so many factors involved in all things gym. The one thing i will say is that the serving suggestion is 4 a day - that's 4 times more than any other multivitamin i've ever seen.       Just taken my first dose of these, After reading many reviews I was a little worried about the taste smell etc but I have to say I cant believe anyone can seriously complain about the "Terrible" taste, They are no better or worse than any other multi vitamin I have taken, Size isn't a problem either which is another recurring theme in many reviews just do one at a time and you'll have no issues.       Been using Alpha Men for around two weeks now, and all I can say is, its the best multi-vitamin I've ever tried. I generally feel healthier, and the radioactive wee just makes me laugh in the mornings. They taste awful, but why chew? just swallow and your done. I've dropped down to taking 3 a day instead of 4, just because I feel 4 is more than I need right now.

      I'd just like to add that some multivitamins use inferior forms of certain vitamins/anti-oxidants/minerals etc. espeically vitamin A. Myprotein do not do this, they use the best tools for the job at a great price. Sorry if this sounds like a sales pitch, but I really am impressed with the quality of myprotein products and can say honestly they work, at unbeatable prices, and for that I thank them.

      I don't really know what people expect these tablets to do? People want this to be a magic pill that's going to take their strength and size gains through the roof, make them feel like $1million, and give them the sex drive of a rabbit, by the looks of things. It is not a magic pill, what it is is an excellent value multivitamin that is incredibly well composed when compared to other more expensive multivits. It won't make you feel like a new man after one week, very few things will (certainly not over the counter things), but it will make little, subtle differences to the way you feel over time. The other thing is this is a supplement, not a replacement for a healthy diet. Take this, eat your vegetables and fruits, and your body will thank you for it. The taste is a downside, but I'd prefer the natural bitter taste of the vitamins (I think it's the vitamin B, but I'm not sure), than some artificial flavouring. The four a day scheme sounds excessive, I use two a day, one in the morning, one at night, alongside fish oil and vitamin D (both from myprotein, both excellent products at unbeatable prices). From personal experience, since bundling these three products, I'm a different person to what I was 6 months ago. I'm happier, more energetic, and far more positive. It ain't cheap, especially when bought with other quality myprotein products, but I'd pay for the improves they have made to my physical and mental health.

      I've been using this for a week or two now. The main thing I have noticed is how awake i feel. I used to feel tired or groggy at points through out the day but now I find in my waking hours I'm alot more alert. I've also found that I have a better quality of sleep so wake up feeling refreshed. Lots of people seem to have problems with the tablets themselves, these people can't have been using supplements for very long. The tablet is just a standard size, same as a paracetamol and i dont think i would have a problem taking 5 or 6 in one mouthful. In terms of smell to me it kind of smells a bit like muesli. The taste is fine, to anyone that's struggled with it try some BCAA powder then see what you think.

      These tablets are a really good quality and very cheap for their potency. Of all the supervitamins i have taken in the past these are the smallest with the least smell. As for taste, well it isn't pleasent but you don't exactly have to keep them in your mouth very long so its not an issue. I think 4 tablets a day is abit much for me so i will be having 1-2. Overall a very good product.

      I'm a huge fan of myprotein products and have been buying them for a few years now. This multivitamin had some strange effects on me. The made me pee bright yellow which is expected with vits but also made me get up in the night 6 times for a pee and no i wasn't drinking anymore than usual, I was the same at work the next day I couldn't stop pee'n, stopped taking them now and pee'n normally again. though still got nearly a full bottle, of vits not pee lol :-( Also make sure you read the nutition information, there is an supplement in there I can't take 'Ginko Biloba' i didn't expect it to be included as its pretty expensive if you buy on its own.

      Iv'e been using Alpha Men now for about 6 months and they certainly make a difference to my overall health and recovery. I don'y typically eat a lot of fruit and veg (bad i know) but I recently had a full health screen at Nuffield including blood and antioxident levels etc. I came out with the second highest level possible of antioxidents in the blood, which only around 7% of the population has. I was told whatever supps I am using, they definately work! I combine these with Super Omega 3's, Mega Grean Tea, and Milk Thistle. All from MP. Awesome stuff!

      I have tried this product now over a 2 month period, along side thermopure, Zinc & Mag and other products and gotta say, I havent felt any of the benefits this product may induce. I eat a well balanced diet so perhaps this is why, but still, a cheap multi vit from the chemist is truly better than this product. I give it 4 marks for mixability only because you can take it with a other products and now spew your guts out.

They snap in half easily in your fingers, which makes them much easier to swallow. I've not suffered from the radioactive pee - I'm a bit sad about that :)

      I can certainly tell the difference since I started using it. My head feels clear, I am never low on energy (unless I fast for too long... or hungover) I just feel generally better. When it comes to taste, I don't see a problem. I tend to swallow tablets, not smell or keep them in my mouth to taste them... call me old fashioned. The whole radioactive urine thing, that would be the B vitamins, or the metabolite of said vitamins passing through. Nothing strange going on (but if your urine is discoloured without the tablets, see a professional). I noticed someone blaming a disorder on the lack of a particular vitamin in the tablets. Do not be put off by this, as any half-wit should be quite aware that vitamin/mineral tablets are there to *supplement* a good diet ; they are a top-me-up, not a replacement. These are effective, cheap (for what you get) and packed full of goodness.

      This is a great all round multi-vit that is perfect for me as I don't always have the time to prepare healthy meals. My gym fitness and recovery times have also benefited noticeably. Overall feeling of well being has also improved. Sure it tastes horrible - so? It's a fitness supplement, not a bag of cherry lips... man up! P.S.       not sure why people are moaning about the taste - i dont really taste anything and anyways its a tablet not a sweet so cowboy the hell up and take it!! im always getting a cold which 9 times out of 10 results in a chest infection and bearing in mind i work round different hospitals i have got to try and look after myself. This is the only multi vitamin that has aided me in keeping my immune system up and the piss glowing side affect is to me seen as a bonus so that in the middle of the night i can see where i am peeing rather than hurt my eyes and switch the light on :) anyways ive had no problems taking this and will be happily putting another order in soon - cheers MP

      The pills are not too big and a ery streamlined. ignore the comments of bad taste as who leaves it on their tongue anyway! sip the chosen drink first hold the liquid in your mouth then down the pill.       These are by far the best multi vits I have ever used, sometimes I can feel them 'working' almost like I can feel them starting to kick in, they are very powerful, do not take on an empty stomach and drink lots of water with them as they can make me dry mouthed otherwise.       When these arrived I found that quite a few had broken into small pieces, this got pretty annoying when I had to try and fish out little pieces and randomly guess if I had made up a full tablet or not. Also the taste is horrendous and the pills are hard to swallow. On the plus they have almost everything you need in the way of vitamins, minerals etc and they have shown positive signs of progress so the sacrifices I had to make kinda balance out. All in all I think that it's worth it if you really want an all in one pill.

      Have noticed a significant improvement on my immune system since taking these. Personally, I feel that taking 4 a day is overkill as you piss ALOT of it out, however taking one in the morning and one at night has worked well for me.

      Smells bad, also quite large tablets to swallow. The recommendation is to take 4 a day which seems a lot compared to most 'one a day' multivitamins. However i put this down to them having a lot of potency and effectiveness

      hardly an issue with taste or mixability, you knock back two with breakfast and one with tea. The benefits of these are just quality; you generally feel better because your body is getting the right nutrients it needs (bearing in mind your on a good diet) and realistically it doesn't just help you feel better to work out, it makes you generally feel better all the time.

      I've been taking these for just over half a year now, this product helps me out an awfull lot in the gym. However the taste and smell is awfull and i have to break the tablet in 2 to swallow it because if i don't i almost choke. If the taste was magical i'dgive it a 5 but it's horrific im rating this a 4 but great product! Really does help!

      Some people think it's not worth taking things like vitamins. On the contrary, vitamins are essential to you reaching your potential if you are training hard.\n\nWhen I first got these I thought they were a bit too big, I wasn't comfortable swallowing and had a hard time over-coming my gag reflex, but if you find it difficult too, break them in half and take them that way at first. I now have no problem swallowing them whole.\n\nI also supplement Alpha Men with Vitamin E from MyProtein. I'm also considering getting vitamin C and D also.\n\n100% recommended, you should be taking these if you are serious about your body.

      I've been taking vitamin supplements for many years now, but would definitely recommend Alpha Men to anyone. Very strong but good quality products for an affordable price, and personally I've noticed an increase in alertness after taking them.\n\nFor those who have commented on the smell and taste, man up. You don't have to chew these tablets, just swallow them. With a glass of water you wouldn't even be able to notice it.\n\nLuminous pee is just a by-product of excess vitamin intake and nothing to worry about. With increased exercise/exertion and fluid intake you'll actually notice this may even go away

      This formula simply don't bring anything close to enough for a person who actively practice some kind of sports activity. I have tried one tub and it already left me with gum (teeth) problems (lack of vitamin C). Vitamin C and B range are extremely poor in this formula. Perhaps it is good for older people who only practice watching TV...

      I've been using them for several weeks now and would highly recommend them to any of my friends/colleagues. I have increased energy levels, my focus and concentration is dramatically improved. Generally I feel much healthier. The yellow 'pee' has been noted but is nothing to worry about.

      right ive been one these a good 2 weeks now and i have to admit i havnt really noticed a difference in areas other people have noted on. they do include some very good vitamin and mineral contents aswell so these are the bargain of the century. all i can add is that these do smell pretty horrific but just chuck em down ya be a man lol. thanks again MP

      I am new to all this so have nothing to compare with regard performance of using AlphaMen and not using it. However, I can describe the tablet itself ... yes, they have a strong smell that wafts out when you open the pot - common to Wotsits, yes, but that only reminds me of Russell Brand's comment when he was doing his MTV show "RE:Brand" and said that his homeless friend 'James' had breath that smelled of Wotsits - then was told that it was the smell of SICK! .... your choice Wotsits or not. The tablets look an orange colour from a distance but are actually a dull yellow with red/brown/green flecks and have a matt texture, they are fairly large but are easy to swallow.\n\nThe recommendation on the pot is 2 tablets in the morning and 2 in the afternoon - with food. The next wee about about an hour after taking them is luminous green/yellow and smells as if you have been eating asparagus!\n\nThere you are, nothing on the supplement qualities of AlphaMen but a bit on the other qualities ! :-)\n\n4 stars as they are fine.

      Taken these for a month and they seem to work well as a multi vitamin. \n\nOn the down side it took 2 weeks from placing the order to actually receiving them. All of my order's recently have taken two weeks which is a big let down especially when you see people raving about receiving their orders within a few days on the customer testimonials. Funny how you never see any bad testimonials.\n\nAs a result i am hesitant to order again from my protein although the products are good.

      I recently started taking this mv and started ta notice an increase in energy levels. For the price its well worth it and will continue to buy this product everytime i need mv's. \nAlso who cares about havin illuminous piss. It happens to nearly everyone on a new mv and yes it is caused by the excess of b2 which is no harm at all

      Just a note for those experiencing fluorescent urine. This is caused by an overdose of Vitamin B2. It really is nothing to worry about.\nYou can easily tell the difference between this and dehydration by the clarity of your pee. Clear fluorescent urine is fine. If it's dark yellow then you are dehydrated.\nAs always, drink plenty of water.

      My review is neutral, I'm just commenting on the 'side-effect' a couple of users of this product are noticing. Your body can only absorb so much of any vitamin (or supplement or protein for that matter) at any one time, and any excess that it can't absorb at the time it passes through the body goes out the same way that all other waste products do either through urine, excrement, or sweat. Don't get me wrong here, you probably are benefiting from the extra potencies of certain vitamins if your training hard (I also take a high(er)-strength vitamin), but all the same, whatever your body isn't taking in to help you replenish normal levels, it's essentially pis*ing away very colourfully!

      When taking this multivitamin i found that my urine colour was constantly that of dehydration, even though i was hydrated and training well. I guess the colour must just be a side effect, but wondered if anyone else had experienced this????

      This product is great. It has some very high quality ingredients for the vits and minerals, some great microminerals like vanadium, plus lots of other great stuff like adaptogenic herbs, ginkgo, saw palmetto, nettle root, etc.\n\nI take 2 in the morning and i have managed to knock my morning cuppa on the head, and 2 before training which definately gives me a boost.\n\nNow if only the Total Performance product could be updated with some of the ingredients in this stuff..........
