TriCarb is a carbohydrate based drink with a unique blend of 3 different carbohydrates which include; Maltodextrin, Fructose and Palitinose®. TriCarb also provides 500mg of Electrolytes.
Tri Carb is the ideal carbohydrate energy drink for before, during and after exercise. TriCarb combines a combination of carbohydrates and electrolytes which contributes to the maintenance of endurance performance during prolonged endurance exercise and enhances the absorption of water during physical exercise.
TriCarb is ideal for anyone looking for a source of carbohydrates and electrolytes with the addition of three different forms of carbohydrate. It is recommended to consume TriCarb either before, during or after high intensity endurance exercise. Most people who consume TriCarb will be taking part in endurance based activities which last for a minimum of 2 hours.
Before exercise: Add 700ml of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add just under 1 MP large scoop (50g), shake and consume up to one hour before exercise.
During and after exercise: Add 700ml of water or fruit juice into our shaker. Then add just under 1 MP large scoop (50g), shake and consume half throughout exercise and half after exercise. 1 x level MP Plastic Scoop (large) weighs 60g.

I was rather skeptical about the use of quick release quick release carbs such as maltodextrin and dextrose etc, but after using this 3 weeks now I would recommend it to anyone.
Personally I take about 30mg in my protein shaker full of water and sip during my workout (2 compounds, 2 isolated and HIIT). Before I used Tricarbs, by the time I got to HIIT I had relatively short sprint periods due to fatigue. My first session using Tricarbs changed this, I felt more energized throughout my session, especially during HIIT.
Over the course of my session I top the solution up with water then when I am complete I have a shake consisting of 30mg of Tricarbs (Summer fruits), 5mg of creapure and 1 scoop of unflavored whey (I actually like unflavored whey for making smoothies etc, but Tricarbs adds a bit of flavor which is a refreshing change) .
Altogether I feel this product fueling grueling sessions and is great at recharging for the following day. I will be investing in two flavors next time to change up my post workout shake every so often and reap the rewards during sessions.Goes Well With:Water, Impact Whey Protein, Creapure, Thermopure

I have 700ml an hour and a half before football, and another 700 during and after (as instructed) and it makes 60 mins of 5 a side feel like 20 mins. I could go on and on! Tri carb is a great product. For cycling I drink half the recommended amount an hour before going out and the other half while I’m out. I can definitely tell the difference, my energy levels are high and consistent, no flagging towards the end of a long ride. I mix it with diluted orange juice and you can barely taste the tri carb plus no upset stomach.

Unfortunately I am allergic to a lot of pre-workouts on the market, even some of the MP ones. However, I believe this is because of the flavourings used, this is why TRI CARB is great! It provides long lasting, effective energy release which have helped me push through PBs in endurance training, strength training as well as climbing and kayaking trips. I have been using this product for a month, an the increase in energy pre workout has been amazing!
I'v been mixing it with my whey protein and instant oats in the mornings with a bit of cinnamon, tastes like a comfort smoothie!

Not sure about this product yet. It mixes well, tastes OK and performance appears to be enhanced since using it.
However, I'm not sure if it's a coincidence since starting to use it but there may be a laxative effect I did not know or read about.

I have been using TriCarb for the last 3 weeks or so, and from the very first time I used it at the gym, I noticed that I was less tired, and improved my time doing interval on the treadmill. Every time I work out now, I use this, and it always makes me feel more ready for my workout, because I know I'm always going to have a good one now. I was following the directions and having a 700ml an hour or so before, half during and half after. I haven't ever used any other energy and endurance supplements so I can't really comment, but I know I will be buying Tri Carb again, especially for the days where I have 2 gym classes. When you mix it properly and with the amount that they suggest, it isn't as sweet, possibly try and mix with ice water to take the edge of if you don't like sweet things.Tastes very similar to Refresher bar sweets!Goes Well With:Hard work.

I bought the Tropical Flavour Tri Carb. If you follow the instructions you end up making quite a strong tasting drink, which although has all the carbs you need for me it was just too strong. Use a little less powder and you are set. I start drinking one about 2 hours before I go swimming/running/cycling giving it time to go down. If I plan to do a particularly long session then I take some with me in a pre-made drink or a home made sachet to add to water.
I think it's great and I have definitely noticed the difference. My swimming sessions in particular, I was instantly able to go harder for longer and is now paying off. My times are dropping.Goes Well With:Water

I take this before a morning run if I am not having breakfast. I find that it gives me the energy to do a long run when without it I would start to flag approaching 10k. Taste is good if not spectacular. Mix with water, down it, get changed and go out whereas before I'd have to eat breakfast then wait half an hour for it to go down before heading out.Goes Well With:Caffeine

I'm a diabetic and before I began using Tri Carb, I would always find my blood sugars becoming unstable and deteriorating rapidly before becoming a hypoglycaemic attack. I needed something that would stabilise my blood sugars half way through my training and Tri Carb does exactly what I need. It gives me a quick-acting boost which halts any further dips in blood sugar levels, and then the slower acting carbs act as a bridge, giving me enough time to drive home, have a shower and then get solid food. Tri Carb has given me the confidence that my health will not be such a major concern or danger to myself when training, or to others when I'm driving. I chose the tropical flavour, and I find it quite sweet but refreshing.

At first I'm always a bit speculative about the promises made by sports drinks manufactures, but hey, so far so good it does what it says. Gives me that little kick to get me going and definitely helps me stay and recover. I think different drinks have different effects on the whole spectrum of people, you just have to find one that works for you.

Purchased Tri Carb as I was taking part in a cross city bicycle ride, after seeing that this was a recommended product in the 'Your Sport' section of the site.
Tastes great and the rest of my team loved it too, it certainly seemed to help us on our way. We made up sachets to add to our water as we refilled along the route.

I used this Tri Carb as part of a recent cycleathon over 60 miles and found it an excellent product (tropical flavour). It certainly made a difference during the last 10 miles. I usually carb up the night before but found this kept my energy levels up just as well and also taking into account it was 21 degrees out on the road so rather warm as well. The flavour was very impressive and easy to mix.

I used Tri Carb for a continuous 24 hour trek across three peaks. It's a good mixture for muscle recovery and to keep my legs from aching too much afterwards.

Just started using Tri Carb and have to say that as well as giving you boosts in performance during exercise, it also simply makes me feel better in general. I mixed/added it to some Fructose and Dextrose too in order to make a powder and boy does it do the job!

I got the unflavored version of Tri Carb, mixed about half a scoop with 400ml of water as soon as it came as I get impatient to try stuff, it tasted like sea water so I spat it out.
Later on, before cardio workout I mixed 3/4 scoop with 2 scoops of oats, 300ml of whole milk and some molasses and blended, tasted like sea water and oats. Downed it anyway and proceeded to run on treadmill for nearly double my usual time, and feel great afterwards.
The next day, I tried it with some juice cartons I saw in a vending machine at college, 1 carton pineapple + 2 cartons orange + 3/4 scoop tri-carb. It tasted like mildly salty orange juice, but by far more bearable than the previous taste experiments. same effect on my cardio workout, mild increase on weight workout performance.
Next day added 1/2 scoop sugar to the juice mix, was better.
Conclusion: brilliant effect, will make you feel invincible during cardio but take care to have some strong flavored juice like orange or pineapple on hand or some double strength juice concentrate to mix with (a small amount of) water otherwise what you drink will taste salty. Goes Well With:any drinkable liquid with a strong enough flavour to mask the saltiness.

Tri Carb is definitely my favourite MP product! It provides you with so much energy and makes you feel so hydrated and helps you to maintain performance throughout a 70 minute hockey match. I can definitely work harder for longer! And it's great tasting too!

Only used this product a few times so far after some seriously hard sessions or runs. I do American Football and this stuff certainly seems to help me keep going during practices and refuel after.
Taste-wise, make sure you mix it right, JUST UNDER a large scoop otherwise it's overpoweringly horrific- but mixed right it will still take a bit of getting used to, I have a bottle of water with me in my bag as well just to keep things even.

This is the first time I've tried the unflavoured Tri-Carb and I have to admit I was a bit sceptical at the checkout - however, I had no reason to worry. The flavour is absolutely fine and to be honest, I've been enjoying it more than I have the flavoured versions. I will definitely be buying this again. This is a great product.

I've only tried this Tri Carb once so far. I mixed it in a 700ml bottle and took it on a 20 mile training run along with a couple of gel packs. I felt great for the whole run so definitely think it helped. I find it tastes extremely sweet so will only use it for very long runs or races.

Tri Carb is great tasting. I think people are finding it too sweet because they haven't added enough water. It says 700ml to under 1 scoop, which is a lot!
Using it as a pre-workout, for me personally it doesn't work I don't feel any difference.
I'm using it as a weight gainer, it's a good product and I would buy it again.

I bought this Tri Carb for IM triathlon training and have used it on 4-5 occasions. It tastes foul - it's very artificial and very sweet and every time has given me an upset stomach within 4 hours of taking it - not good. My partner has had the same problems.

I have been useing tri carb for about 3 weeks now and what a great taste in summer fruits flavour and for the product it works a treat i use it when im out on my mountain bike.over the past few years i have used loads of diffrent energy drinks and powders and ttri carb is one of the best.and for the delivery was very fast by dpd and they email you what time your parcel will be there.great service all round.thanks scott

Good for maintaining energy during long workouts but it only helps if you are willing to work hard anyway - so it's not going to make you work out longer if you're lazy Important for recovery as well since you do need a bit of energy to recover

I take it pre cardio training with Creatine Ethyl Ester and during training. It gives a super boost and gets you through any hard session. Top product!!
