I've tried both flavours of the Skinny Protein Cookies. I'm not really a big fan of Lemon and Chia Seeds anyway so will review the Cranberry and White Chocolate cookies. Pros: - Only 194 kcal so they can be eaten as a snack. Perfect for women who generally have lower metabolisms than men. This compares this to the 320 kcal protein cookie which I could never justify due to the high energy of it - Delicious. The cookie tastes really great. I recommend heating it up in a microwave for 20 seconds but is also good cold. You feel like you're having a high sugar naughty dessert but there's barely any sugar in it! Guilt free! - High protein (25g) so it keeps you full for AGES. It's the perfect size too so you don't feel bloated after eating. Cons: - So far there are only 2 flavours. I'm hoping for a dark chocolate variety soon but as a brand new product it's brilliant. Nice one Myprotein! Goes Well With:Yoghurt
Firstly, bought these on a discount. Read the reviews ob both flavors prior to trying. Today went for the Lemon & Chia one. Like the previous reviews mentioned-best goes together with a bin. All in all, there are probably worst products out there for different companies. Texture is interesting (never tried microwaving) with chia seeds being an aftermath, taste was enjoyable for little bit. I guess, if you are on low calories, just for placebo you could eat these. Otherwise, just go with the "regular gas station/bakery/supermarket cookie" and save some money. High 3/10 from me!Goes Well With:Placebo effect on a deep cutting phase!
Just horrible, taste and texture not good. Going back to the larger chocolate orange cookies.Goes Well With:Nothing
Lemon and chia seed flavour is awful, synthetic sweetener, bitter, barely any lemon flavour. Texture is gross, really powdery, heating makes them plasticky and dunking makes them instantly dissolve. I couldn't even eat half of one Goes Well With:The bin
Got the lemon and chia seed one and it's incredible, tried the orange chocolate normal protein cookie before and didn't like it and it was very high calorie so just wasn't a fan but this one is glorious and if you put it in the microwave for 20 seconds it's amazing and goes into this kind of cookie dough form its so so good! Love the lemon flavour will be buying again. Also it has white chocolate chips in it which was a great surprise, so yummy!!!Goes Well With:Microwave for 20 seconds
these are SO SWEET! not even a good sweet! there pretty hard and powdery texture and so overly sweet. fab that there low calorie but the taste flavour improving massivly - the normal protein cookies taste heavenly but these just taste uuuuk Goes Well With:nothing
Hello Tried these and found they tasted abit dry and had a strange after taste. I much prefer the normal cookies on here. They taste much nicer and are more moist. It's worth the extra calories in my opinion.
Bought these as a alternative to the normal bulky cookie and found these much better for a snack. Perfect size not to big so doesn't feel like a meal and big enough to fill you inbetween meals. Flavour wise these are by far the best tasting cookie I've had cranberry one is awesome!Goes Well With:Smoothie
A chewy kind of cookie, that taste really good. However they do have a sand like texture on the back of the tongue. I think this is pretty standard of protein snacks like this and i don't find it too off putting, but I know its not for everyone.
These cookies taste great, they're stacked full of protein so they're never going to taste like a proper cookie. I had the cranberry ones and they're so good I ordered some more. Not sure why people complain about the taste, I've had a lot worse!! These are a great little snack and source of protein if you need a quick fix. 5* from me
Cookies are good for low calorie protein but I wasn't a big fan of the flavour - could still taste that really strong protein taste with these which made them quite hard to eat.. would be nice to see a wider range of flavours for theseGoes Well With:Coffee
Honestly the worst product I've purchased. Tastes awful! Couldn't give it away as everyone else thought it was vile. Not for me! (Or the rest of the office )Goes Well With:The bin
Got these as an alternative to the normal size cookies. Being someone that is really active I got hungry very quick so need to keep something on hand. This is suprisingly nice and refreshing. Taste nice and I didn't have any after taste you usually get with protein. Personally I think its a little small for me, still nice to have for a quick snack with some tea or when on the go. If you buy them you won't be disappointed but between these and the normal cookies, I would choose the normal cookies. Only because I need the extra energy and feel more fuller with them.Goes Well With:Tea, as a snack or on the go
I liked the taste (cranberry and white chocolate). The protein powder is noticeable but that's what you expect from these type of snacks. It is a good product with good macros but I am not sure about the "skinny" tag. For its size I found it unsatisfying so it doesn't work as a meal replacement, and 200 kcal does not always fit a snack slot in terms of calories during a cut. After all Quest bars are lower calories and much more filling in my opinion.Goes Well With:Almond milk.
Great taste with high protein and low calories at a reasonable price. Its a win, win for me.Goes Well With:Anything
Taste good heated up but cold not amazing. Quite sweet for a low sugar item.
I bought a box of the Cranberry and White Chocolate Skinny Cookies - mixed reviews tbh. In terms of diet, the Skinny Cookie is an excellent snack as it has a really nice macro split, allowing my to stay on track. It's also perfect for chucking in my bag and eating quickly (I have an Front of House office job, so can't really be eating a bowl of eggs etc while working). In terms of actual enjoyment, this is where things get a little disappointing. The cookie is more of a soft, slightly sticky dough rather than a traditional biscuit-like cookie. The texture is quite grainy/powdery and is quite obviously packed with protein powder. The taste is also quite artificial, lacking in both cranberry/white chocolate flavour but has a slightly sour after-taste. Overall, you get what you order - this is a quick high-protein snack to tie you over when there's nothing else and it does the job. I don't dislike the product, but I think maybe a chocolate flavour might be less artificial (the higher carb protein brownie is much more enjoyable in terms of taste). Goes Well With:Cup o' tea
Taste is a bit poor, sweeteners are too strong and they leave you a strong aftertaste, plus palm oil?? not healthy at all. Chia seeds are good, taste overall is chemical tho and they're very chewy. Sure there's so much better out there.
Looking for something to satisfy my 4pm sugar dip and fuel me for the gym. The reviews of these were mixed, leaning towards good. Be a sceptic not an optimist (like me) and order a sample. They smell great. I was hopeful. They taste like a stale shortbread biscuit that has been dropped in lemon floor cleaner. Texture resembles this too. Stodgy, damp and cardboard like. The lemon flavour could be Flash floor cleaner it's that chamical like. It's only saving grace is the white chocolate chips. I tried microwaving it as the above said. Nope. Can't do it. Way too artificial. Like eating a urinal cake. I'll stick to an apple/banana and some PB. Disappointed! The other sweet treats are mega calorific. Maybe MP could buy back boxes to use as samples in exchange for credit? I'd happily pay the postage back. Goes Well With:Lemon Pledge, Lemon Cif, Toilet Duck.
The cookies are a good product, but seem to be lacking flavor a little. I would prefer more chocolate chips too. But good for a treat and help with protein macros.
