Milk Protein Smooth is a milk protein concentrate derived from ultra-filtered skimmed milk. This milk protein is a source of native casein and whey proteins in the same ratio as found naturally in milk (casein 80% and whey 20%). Milk Protein Smooth provides an extremely smooth consistency with an extremely clean and neutral taste.
Due to the production process, no instantising agents are required to provide the excellent mixing and consistency of Milk Protein Smooth. Milk Protein Smooth is extremely versatile; it can be consumed in various forms including; protein shakes, smoothies and yoghurts. Milk Protein Smooth is absorbed slowly by the stomach allowing a tapered supply of amino acids to the muscle over a prolonged period of time. This makes Milk Protein Smooth the ideal protein supplement for between meals and before bed. During sleep, the body is normally starved of nutrients as it is impractical to consume food. Milk Protein Smooth is 78% Micellar Casein, the rest is made up from whey protein and bioactive proteins.
For anyone engaged in a long term physical training plan, getting the right dietary balance is absolutely essential. The body requires the right kind of nutrients in order to perform and develop correctly, and whether these come from food or from supplements, they are needed for many purposes. As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming before bed or between meals 2-3 times per day.
Add 300-400ml of water or milk into our shaker (the less liquid the thicker the shake will be). Then add 1 sachet, shake and consume. Consume just before bedtime for optimum results, but can also be taken between meals, 2 to 3 times a day or as required.

Please note this nutritional information is taken from the unflavoured version. When choosing a flavoured version it will reduce the protein content by approximately 3% for most flavours, however chocolate, due to the added cocoa, will reduce it by approximately 8%.

Found this to be a great idea to go to bed on. Filling , but you have to drink it quick as it soon turns to foam in the shaker. Taste is a little chalk like but if you drink quick you will not notice, Feel better in the morning before the next session Goes Well With:water

Got a sample of unflavoured milk protein smooth to try as a night time drink and unfortunately it tasted horrible, with milk it went horribly thick and gloopy with a film of froth on top that wouldn't mix, along with some of the powder not mixing. This was the same as the raspberry flavour but 10 grams of this goes ok with weetabix, cinnamon and hot milk in the morning as it mixes better and adds more flavour as well as bulking it out. It also helps fill me up longer and ups my protein amount for the day. As for gains I'm not too sure yet due to how short my usage period is but it does help with morning recovery after fasted sessions.Goes Well With:Weetabix, cinnamon and hot milk for breakfast

Was taking another milk protein which has been on the market for 40 years terrible to mix and a terrible taste. Then thanks to my protein I tried their milk protein smooth good in every way and best value now look forward to taking my protein milk protein smooth before bed every night.

I already use the Milk Protein Smooth mixed with skimmed milk and it's lush, so thought I would try a Milk Protein Smooth (Sample) of the strawberry instead of chocolate. Now I just can't decide which as they are both really nice. It's used in a training regime and works excellenty, and doesn't leave me bloated or sickly. It's just like having a normal shake but does you good.Goes Well With:Skimmed milk (my choice, it's really nice) or with good old plain water.

I have brought this Milk Protein Smooth (Sample) a couple of times, and have enjoyed it. I do buy sample packets so I can take them to work and have them between meals. I do use an electric hand blender to mix my bedtime one, but all-in-all I enjoy the shakes.

Milk Protein Smooth (Sample) tastes good (not artificial tasting), is smooth, velvety, and mixes very well. I would recommended if you are whey intolerant.

Milk Protein Smooth (Sample) has to be thinned down quite a bit, but it does make a decent tasting and effective shake. The chocolate version also makes a great casein pudding and oatmeal topping.Goes Well With:PB and almond milk

Casien is an incredibally important protein to invest in, whether in cottage cheese for or as a supplement. I have tried the big three flavours (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla), as well as unflavoured. I love the texture of casien, its much thicker than whey (I've used it to make icing on a protein cake - yum!). That said, casien always seems to have a stronger aftertaste than whey, and the same is true here. Chocolate and Vanilla suffer most - they are bland and have a strong aftertaste. Not for me. Strawberry, however, is suprisingly really quite nice! And if you don't like strawberry as a rule, buy the unflavoroued verision and add some Flavdrops. I thought the unflavoured version with some toffee drops was a much nicer vanilla than the standard one.Goes Well With:Whey.

"This sample arrived in a clear plastic bag - I'm surprised it did't get stopped at customs. As soon as I mixed it and opened the shaker I was hit by a sour milk / chemical smell, I still decided to taste it - it was awful. The shake just tastes of chemical with a slightly sweet aftertaste, it was so nasty it actually made me gag. The whole lot has gone down the drain. Avoid unless you want to risk seeing your breakfast and lunch again. (oh and it was the strawberry one I tried)"
