Glucosamine is produced naturally in the body however, there are no major food sources of this substance. Glucosamine is a major structural component within joint tissue found in synovial fluid, tendons, ligaments and muscles.
Glucosamine is the starting point of the synthesis of several important macromolecules including glycoproteins, glycolipids and glycosaminoglycans.

This latest batch of glucosamine smells bad like ammonia. I have used glucosamine for several years and never had this problem until now. I would not recommend this product.
Glucosamine Sulphate powder is excellent. I have it every morning mixed with either water or juice. I had a period where I didn't use it and you can really tell. I can't seem to taste the powder, slight saltyness to the water but very slight if you cant manage it then use it with juice and it just tastes like normal juice. I would recommend if you are playing high intensity sports such as football, rugby, netball etc. Definietly worth the money it lasts for ages!! Goes Well With:Omega 369
My husband and I take this every morning, it works wonders with out joints. You realise this as soon as you stop using it.
i don't like at all the taste, however it is very effective! I had troubles with my knees and it is been 2 weeks that i am using it and i could feel better! love this product!
I rated this overall as excellent because it probably works in terms of its actual purpose, but my word it's disgusting. Someone below described it as akin to seawater, which is absolutely "Nail on head". It's tolerable with Orange juice, as it masks the saltiness but I've just tried it as part of a Protein and Creatine shake and I actually feel sick. Glad I only bought a small bag. Will be purchasing the Tablet form for sure next time. Goes Well With:Chips.
Been taking Glucosamine Sulphate for a few weeks and have noticed a difference with slight pains I've been having are now gone, I normally take this with the MSM all mixed together just put it all on a spoon and gulp it down with some juice easiest way to take it I found :PGoes Well With:MSM
It was not long before I felt a real difference with Glucosamine Sulphate powder.Goes Well With:Whey Protein
I was looking for a more effective joint care plan, one that didn't involve having to swallow another 8 tablets in the morning. I combine this Glucosamine Sulphate with MSM powder and job done. It tastes rank, but if you're bothered about that you're not bothered about results. Get it mixed, get it downed and be free of clicking, sore joints! All round, it's very good!Goes Well With:MSM powder, any flavouring.
Glucosamine Sulphate is good and cheap!
I bought bulk Glucosamine Sulphate to maximise the benefit of MSM Glucosamine Chondroitin to avoid shoulder pain. It works well when using weights. Goes Well With:MSM Glucosamine Chondroitin
"Excellent product. I had plenty of problems with my wrist being weak and aching. Now I've blasted through the plateau, lifting heavier, grip feels stronger and I can even play my guitar for longer periods without the aches, so an added bonus. 5/5"
"this stuffs been great for me,done something to the top of my arm doing hammer curls bout seven months ago leaving me in some discomfort, couldnt even do one press up,but gradually built it up.\neven though i was getting stronger i was starting to develop a click and a small shooting pain when it clicked, the pain felt the same as when you turn your head to quick and u get that hot shooting pain well after using this product for bout five days the clicking and pain has stopped. definately worth the money.(cheers mp)"
I'm 53 with some 30 years of martial arts training behind me. It's the age where all the old injuries start to reappear as arthritic symptoms. Luckily my body responds very well to glucosamine and the result is that *all* such symptoms have been held at bay with 1500mg per day. No pain and plenty of gain!
great joint supplement at a superb price. buy some now! 10/10
"Dont miss out on this if u r lifting weights to gain lean tissue, heavy weights = lean tissue growth but unfortunately can mean tendon and joint problems, I have been training 20 years, i know, I have been using this product for 5 years and it does exactly what it says on the tin, helps u absorb shock in your joints. Use it for a while for prevention or cure and if required add chontroitin which is a complementary product to this."
Top quality much more effectve than the caps the taste is absolutely horrible but after one month on MP glucosamine my chronic lower back pain has almost completely disappeared a tendonitis left wrist as well. The taste is nothing compared to the benefits you get. I take 3 teaspoons a day no stomac or gut problem top top top Hugh
"This stuff is great for your joints. My elbows and wrists used to always click, ive been using this for a couple of months now and the rarely click now. But be warned glucosamine tastes foul! i advise buying some NOW gelatin caps and consuming them that way!"
I take it x2 a day with watered down juice and cannot really taste anything unpleasant. From other feedback I was nervous it was going to be really bad. My only issue is measuring the amount each time. I have the power but my scale (that are digital) struggle to weigh accurately 1g and so not really sure how much I am taki g most days. Next time I will more than likely go for the tablets as I will easily know where I am regarding correct doseage.......
I've been mixing this with MSM for a fews weeks to help with joints but i dont notice any real change and i still have clicking knuckles and finger tips, whether it is helping is unknown to me. Both together does taste a bit yuk - kinda like sea water. So either add to a load of cold water to dilute the taste, or just add to a small amount of water and down it in one.
