Creatine monohydrate is one of the most researched forms of creatine in the world and has been thoroughly tested and ethically proven in several performance studies including both elite and recreational individuals. Creatine Monohydrate is ideal for a wide range of male and female athletes from bodybuilders all the way through to sprinters. This product is perfectly safe and has been scientifically proven to increase physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise, making it perfect for those who participate in sports such as powerlifting, sprinting or rugby. Creatine monohydrate is available in array of exciting flavours including the latest additions of Peach Mango, Cherry Limeade and Sour Red Raspberry.
Creatine Monohydrate is suitable for anyone partaking in prolonged or high-intensity exercise, looking to improve physical performance. Dietary sources of creatine include various meats and fish providing approximately 3-7 g per kg. However, consuming large quantities (kg’s) of such foods may potentially increase your dietary protein to excessive values alongside body fat which is why using creatine monohydrate in pill, powder or capsule form is far more practical and effective.
We would recommend consuming 5g of Creatine Monohydrate immediately pre or post work-out with a whey protein and carbohydrate blend to maximise its uptake by the muscle. Alternatively, it may be mixed with water, milk or juice and consumed immediately after mixing.
The 5 day loading phase - New users of creatine monohydrate are recommended to first follow a loading phase to reap its maximum benefits. Supplementing 5g (1 scoop) four times a day at regular intervals is recommended to saturate your muscles with creatine before commencing with the standard 5g a day recommended use.

With the unflavoured I add to my protein shake and you cant tell the difference, or just add to a shot of water or bit of squash and it's really easy to take, it doesn't taste of anything. The unflavoured does also seem to mix quite well with a shake which is good. As for the effectiveness, it's always hard to tell as with all these things, but after a couple of weeks it seemed to "kick in", and I'm lifting way heavier than expected. Highly recommend this just to add to daily shakes, it's not expensive and as said the unflavoured is unnoticeable so you might as well. I'll stop after 8 weeks, but will definitely use again after my period off.
I've been taking creatine monohydrate for several months now as an extra sup along with my whey protein (post workout), i try to take it around 20 minutes before a workout however taking it any time during the day works just fine. I take approx 7g a day and i get a noticable buzz from it, also i feel it gives a better pump after a session and therefore enhancing muscle growth in the long run. As far as flavours go, its always got that bitter sweet taste no matter which ones you try i find! but its only 150-250ml so just see it off! great value for money as well, the 1kg you can get 200 servings out of! Fantastic product from a fantastic company. I always wait for good discounts to come along, but thats probably just because im a poor student!
Mixed with protien shake, works really well, finding myself with more energy throughout my full workout, recovery time is less, lifting has increased. Very impressed!!!!
The effectiveness of the product is undisputed, I made good progress with my muscle mass and workouts while using CMH from MyProtein. For the price, you really can't go wrong if you're building an intensive strength routine. I personally found that I retained/gained muscle weight even while on a cut. Now - a warning about the flavour. The first pouch I bought was I think tropical flavour.. the taste was so strong, artificial and overly sweet that even when one tiny scoop was mixed with 500ml of water, it was still almost unbearable and I think I choked it down only twice, with the help of a straw, before I had to order a pouch of unflavoured. It was seriously revolting. The unflavoured powder, however, has almost no taste when mixed with water (it lends a very, very slight bitter taste at the back of the tongue) but when you're gulping down water after a workout you won't really notice it. You could even mix it with your protein shake after your workout, all it does is slightly lessen the sweetness of the whey flavoured powder. Mixability - mixes well, but it needs to spend a good two minutes dissolving in the water to go from cloudy to clear. Goes Well With:Water, protein shake
Good cheap form of standard creatine. Usually mix 5g with apple juice pre-workout and 5g with whey post-workout, non-workout days I'll add 5g to the morning shake. Can give a salty texture if you don't use enough liquid, I mix with a milk frother instead of a spoon and does the job.Goes Well With:Apple Juice, Impact Whey/Casien
Good product, aids muscle growth and recovery time. My advice is to mix it with water in a glass and stir until fully dissolved (this will take 2-3 mins) as this product is not effective if not dissolved. Probably not the best idea to put this in your protein shake as you can't check if it's dissolved. I mix my unflavoured with water and it tastes like water. You could put squash in it after it's dissolved. Goes Well With:Water
As far as creatine goes, it does what it's supposed to - my muscles appear slightly fuller (as your muscle cells pull in more water), I can get a few more reps in on my top sets (running the 5/3/1 program), and the weights feel slightly lighter. I'm mainly reviewing the peach mango flavour, which is delicious. Strongly recommended.
I have only been using this product for a few of weeks so I may not be best person to refer to for long term effects, but the short terms effects were pretty noticeable straight away. After a couple of days of taking this product I felt quite a lot stronger and could lift more than my PBs after a couple of sessions. I got the unflavoured version as advised by a friend, I never asked why but I assumed to avoid the additives in the flavoured versions. It mixes well with my Impact weight gainer and also mixed with any other protein shake when I tried it with them too. It doesn't mix too well with water though and tastes a bit grainy like a crushed up paracetamol in water, which goes through and makes me cringe me but I just power through. The taste isn't very nice on it's own but it's expected with me now buying any of the flavoured versions. I did notice after taking this that I was thirsty a lot more and would urinate a lot more as well when taking this, I believe this product is known to retain water in certain people so this would explain why this is happening, but if you're happy to go to the toilet a few more times a day then there shouldn't be any problem with this. Goes Well With:Protein shake, Soya/Almond Milk
Does what it says on the tin. Always buy this stuff as I've found it to helps me get that extra rep etc. and I'm not as sore after a workout as I am when I'm not using it. I read a lot of people saying it doesn't mix well..., I quite agree, but I find taking it straight (teaspoon straight in the mouth and wash down with water) works better for me and there's no waste :)
Great price, who cares about taste, want good taste go to your barbie castle and drink some chocolate shake weak stomach boy. 5/5Goes Well With:Unflavored whey protein
Easy to mix into normal protein shake & virtually disolves. Feel better post-workout after taking this and would recommend it. Definitely prefer this over the tablet form.Goes Well With:Any protein shake powder.
Bought creatine for first time to try had unflavoured to mix with my whey and it mixes lovely no bad tastes not powdery also mixes great with squash or water can't say about the effects as only in first week so see what happens. Goes Well With:Protein shake, water or squash
Works really well , easy to take ! Amount you need to to take is so small taste doesn't matter just stick in the mouth and chuck some water in. I use the yellow plastic cases from kinder eggs to carry each dose for work etc when loading ! Better than plastic bags and carrying the full bag
After a month of training with just Whey shakes, I decided to add Creatine into the mix. I take 10g Creatine per day on training days (5g of monohydrate with a morning shake then 5g included in the recommended serving of Hurricane XS for post workout) and just 5g mono on rest days. I train for 3 days per week, mostly free weights. The weight is approximate when using this powder, I use a standard heaped teaspoon. I have the unflavoured version. I haven't tried mixing with just water but when included with a chocolate Whey shake it doesn't alter the flavour at all. Timings are the same each time. Always 5g first thing in the morning with breakfast and on training days an additional 5g immediately post workout in the evening. It took 2 weeks to make a difference. After that period I noticed a bigger post-workout pump (I assume due to the water retention). Shoulders, chest and arms look fuller and more rounded post-workout. This could be placebo as this could be occurring because I'm actually getting bigger but the pump definitely feels 'different', more satisfying. My abs are also more pronounced, especially the 'V'. In terms of performance (the main reason I started using Creatine), I've noticed an increased weight ability but only for compound exercises, i.e. not curls. By far the biggest difference for me is Dumbbell shoulder press. I used to shoulder press 14KG dumbbells and remember trying 16KG but it was very difficult for me to lift them up to the start position. Now my explosive power has increased, allowing me to lift up 22KG dumbbells and I can push 6-8 reps with that. In terms of curls: I feel increased endurance and the ability to squeeze out an extra rep but not the ability to increase my standard set weight without substantially reducing reps. So in conclusion: A better post - workout pump and for me personally, heavier weight and improved power for compound exercises, especially Shoulder press. Goes Well With:Any liquid (unflavoured)
got unflavoured creatine went really well with my protein shake didn't effect flavour atall 👍
Quite simply,it's a very effective product! Never been able to do more than 5 reps on chest bench press (incline/decline) with a 30 kgs dumbell! Now i am, great energy source Goes Well With:True whey protein
I have used MP Creatine on and off now for a few years, each time I go back to using Creatine I notice a significant difference in my workouts, especially with endurance, whether it's that extra 5 mins cardio or that extra rep. For a product that is so cheap and long lasting you may as well have it in your supplement cupboard, a 1kg bag lasts me quite some time, I usually take 4-5g after workout then 1-2g a bit later in evening/night. I read your muscles can be more effective taking on the creatine post-workout as they are more absorbent, same with protein...I gave it a try as usually I do pre-workout. I think post-workout is giving me better results but this could differ from person to person. Just sharing my personal opinion. I gave mix-ability 4/5 as sometimes it can sink after stirring, but swill the glass with water to get the rest from the bottom. Flavor 5/5 - I did not want to give it 1 as it does not taste bad, it tastes of nothing, so mix with juice or get flavored. I got unflavored.Goes Well With:Water/Juice I take with...but not in same mix...whey protein and BCAA
My last creatin became lumpy in the pouch, wouldn't mix in water & made me bloated. Plus it cost more! This stuff is great, I mix it with orange juice before the gym & put it in my post workout shake too. Tastes totally neutral!
Unflavoured tastes nasty, although died the job and if u mix it with a protein shake u can't even taste it, excellent value for money, if u mind the taste pay a little extra for flavoured ones Goes Well With:Protein shakes
Quick delivery and seems to help with strength gains.Goes Well With:Water
Great quality for the price - a staple product for all bros looking for gainzGoes Well With:post workout shake
I'm a very petite woman, so I decided to use a smaller dose than most, and I'm glad I did because it made me feel VERY uncomfortable. It's recommended that you drink a lot while taking creatine, because it can cause diarrhea otherwise (it will draw water into the bowels), but I already drink too much liquid during the day (hot drink addict!), so when I increased it further, it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, bloated, everywhere (maybe I'm just not used to the feeling). My body looked and felt pumped (particularly my abs) and I felt it aided my training as the weights were going up. So yeah, it was doing its job, but it felt... strange. I didn't like the feeling, so went off it for a little while, but I'm going to get back on it soon, with a reduced dosage. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY, PEOPLE. The mixability is OK. Other powders are a bit better in this regard, but I certainly haven't found it problematic- there are fancier creatine powders out there, so for the price, this is very good. It's pretty tasteless, so mixes well with pretty much any drink. I was a bit scared to take this as I wasn't sure if it was 'cheating', but honestly, especially you ladies out there- give it a go. It's one of the supplements really worth trying! Goes Well With:Gains!
Never tried creatine before up until 2 days ago, yesterday I took one half an hour before my workout and then one straight after my workout. At the minute I am doing the p90X and as you guys probably know it is a killer! but yesterday I had more energy than ever before, I usually stop half way through the exercise for a minute but I carried right on through. This Creatine gives you that instant hit you need to power through a tough workout. Before the workout I just take it with cold water, you DON'T need WARM water as I wait half an hour for it to get in my system anyway. All the warm water does is get it into your system faster if your in a big hurry. After my workout I mix one Scoop of my favorite Chocolate Protein Powder plus one scoop of creatine and it goes very well. and it also comes with a little 5g Scoop!! I don't take a protein shake before my workout and if you don't either get to the supermarket and buy some Almonds and take a handful with your Creatine!Goes Well With:I bought Orange flavor Creatine and I have chocolate flavor Protein shake. It's like drinking a cup full of jaffa cakes :)
I'm currently studying for a degree in strength and conditioning. With this, I have been learning different ways to train and have been applying them throughout my 2 years of learning. Creatine Monohydrate has been one of the most important supplements I have been taking to further develop my training results. It works fast and effective with little to no side effects. I would recommend this product to any of my future athletes I am to train.Goes Well With:I take this supplement with milk in the mornings and then with a MP impact blend shake post workout
Works for me, might as well try it at the price Goes Well With:Shakes
I brought the blue raspberry flavour 1kg pouch and it certainly gave me more energy, longer lasting workout and somewhat better focus. The taste is on point, tasted like a sports drink even thought I don't drink them or any sugar drinks. The mixibility is quick, only leaving tiny bit which requires a bit of shaking but apart from that, very light work.Goes Well With:Water
Bought this product to use with the impact protein - I bought unflavoured and mix the two products together and you cannot tell the difference when this has been added and when it is absent in terms of flavour. When it comes to effectiveness this supplement is great. I have been using for a few weeks now and i can feel the difference already. Goes Well With:Smooth Chocolate Whey Impact Protein.
Mixes well with my whey protein shake. Unflavoured is fine because I add the creatine to Vanilla flavoured impact whey protein. The creatine makes my workout more explosive and i can genuinely lift more. Muscle mass seems to genuinely increasing quite fast too. I'll be buying again once my 200 servings run out. Gives me an unfair advantage over my gym buddies! Goes Well With:Any protein shake supplement.
After taking this creatine, I didn't expect much to change other than not fatiguing as easily. But after around 2 weeks of consumption, I noticed I was increasing my intensity and strength a lot quicker than before I started taking it. Great product, especially if you get in on an offer. Would reccomend.Goes Well With:Water, gains, life
This creatine i bought is unbelievable compared to some other stuff i bought , it tastes great, doesnt break the bank and mixes quite well! Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, high quality, great tasting Creatine Monohydrate!Goes Well With:Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Pre Workout or MyProtein Impact Whey Protein (Cookies and Cream) or Even by itself as its tropical flavour so it tastes great!!
Only been taking creating monohydrate for just over a week so haven't noticed a lot of difference yet but saying that my energy in the gym has increased i'm going to stick with it hopefully see more improvement in the coming weeks and months. I went for the Blue Rasberry flavour which is nice but a little on the sweet side, think next time I will go for the unflavoured and just mix it in with my whey protein as you only need such a little each day. Goes Well With:Water
An essential supplement for anyone who's training, only issue I have is poor mix ability with water but fine in shakes. Goes Well With:Impact whey protein
I've been taking it for 2 weeks I already feel like I am heavier and begining to gain weight and also putting more muscle on and more than likely will purchase the product again once it runs out as it is great value.Goes Well With:Water
Price can't be beat on this product, especially when on offer. I take the standard 5g a day and I usually mix it with either a shake or with cereal on days I don't have a shake. For this reason I always get Unflavoured, no need to get a flavour unless you want to have this by itself. All in all it is definitly the best value for money Creatine Monohydrate available!Goes Well With:Weetabix/Protein Shake
Found this to effective in helping me build explosiveness on my big compound lifts. Mixes easily and could not taste it at all when mixed in with my impact whey protein Goes Well With:Impact whey protein Instant oats BCAA
Really impressed with the flavors grape and watermelon, mix really nicely and taste great. For how cheap this product is it really is great value and the best quality you can find for the price. Goes Well With:Water
It's perfect and mixes so we'll also is very pleasant unflavored and a great source! Will always be back for more, best protein site ever!
I've used this supplement before but the other wasn't as good as this it blends really well with no leftovers at the bottom and. Is a great value for money.
I got the raspberry flavoured one, it tastes great, mixes well and I feel like I get a much better workout when I take this before. Next time is probably get unflavoured so I can mix with my vanilla whey.
Trials have shown Creatine Monohydrate works, so you needn't take my word for it. Visit examine dot com and read all about it. You probably know this already, but just in case: Taking this supplement boosts the energy reserves of the muscle cells so that during hard exercise you have a little bit more in reserve. This allows you to push slightly heavier weights around and/or do more reps, hence the increased muscle mass. In other words, taking this stuff doesn't build muscle, but it makes it easier for you to work your muscles harder and so leads to increased muscle gain. Tip: if you are getting stomach trouble after drinking, or are fed up of stirring the stuff to get it to dissolve, try using warm water. I use stuff from the kettle that has cooled a little. Just an inch in the cup should be enough. Once it is dissolved (usually very quick) stir in enough cold water to make it easy to drink off in one go, and Bob's your uncle. The stuff is pretty stable to heat, melting at over 250°C so hot water won't hurt it.
This tastes good, compared to others I have in the past. Mixes well, only had a little creatine left in the bottom of my shaker. Creatine is creatine, does what it does. I had it to mmy post work out shake, My Protein Impact Whey Summer Fruits & they taste good togther. Good value for money.
I normally buy USN Creatine. Thought I'd try My Proteins. Put a scoop in cold tap water and left for 5 mins with a few shakes of the bottle now and then. For the first time ever 100% of the powder dissolved...I mean totally gone. So this means getting full usage, very impressed
What can I say apart from WOW. When I started using this I felt like I had so much energy and I could lift a lot more than without using this. Mixes easily into protein shake
Well researched product, definitely feeling more of a pump after each session, a bit early on to see any effects but allows you to work harder and push more in the gym, excited to see the big gains soon Goes Well With:Water, milk and a set of descent workout tunes 👌
There is not much to say about a simple product that is good because it was allowed to remain simply good. It has been proven that Creatine Monohydrate is every bit as effective as fancier forms of creatine. Even better, here in this pure form, it has not been rendered useless by the addition of caffeine. MP regrettably chooses to market such 'waste-stacks' with several pre-workout supplements. (Caffeine neutralises creatine.)Goes Well With:Knowledge
Since I've started taking creatine, I've definitely noticed a bulk in all my big muscle groups so I'd say it has definitely helped a lot. However, the only reason I haven't given it a 5-star rating is because before I started taking creatine I hardly drank any water throughout the day. Now that I'm taking it, though, I'm drinking 2-4 litres per day every day. This alone might be enough to improve my bulk; through natural retention. I gave a neutral flavour rating because I mix it with my protein shake and I gave it 4 stars on mixability because it mixes well, but adds a tiny hint of grittiness to my shake. Not unpleasant though! All in all, I plan on using the rest of my pouch and am considering rebuying when that's done!Goes Well With:Whey Protein Shake
I'm pretty new to this product, ordered the flavourless 1kg pouch as I didn't like the look of the E numbers in the flavoured versions. Not to sure about its effectiveness as of yet, however only just started using this, tastes nasty on its own, I mix it with MP diet whey post workout shake where it's not noticed, what I will say like most My Protein products is that it's great value for no doubt a quality product, the star rating given is basically because it's too early to tell if it's working, "everyone's different" also the taste is rank and a bit dissapointed the flavoured versions are laced with E numbers, these don't fit into a clean eating schedule !! Goes Well With:Diet whey protein
Creatine is really an essential part of my supplementation, and this is value for money and easily assimilated into any drink / shake, well worth it for the price .. Goes Well With:Impact whey protein Water Pre workout
What can i say , Myprotein have done it again... i brought the new peach and mango flavour and taste great.. dosent taste artificially....mixes amazing with water and has given me a boost in my workouts and muscles look fuller and feel pumped.Goes Well With:water and anyone looking to make gaaiiinnzzz
Initially ive tried this as an extra boost supplement, i mix it with whey protein pre-workout, at the moment its giving a nausous feeling and mild sickness feeling, i have done some research and you really do need to drink plenty of water aswell, its not so bad then im going to stick with it for the time being because its early days and the body needs to get used to it so may do another review in couple of monthsGoes Well With:Mixes well with whey protein
