The 5 day loading phase - New users of creatine monohydrate are recommended to first follow a loading phase to reap its maximum benefits. With the unflavoured I add to my protein shake and you cant tell the difference, or just add to a shot of water or bit of squash and it's really easy to take, it doesn't taste of anything. The unflavoured does also seem to mix quite well with a shake which is good. As for the effectiveness, it's always hard to tell as with all these things, but after a couple of weeks it seemed to "kick in", and I'm lifting way heavier than expected. Highly recommend this just to add to daily shakes, it's not expensive and as said the unflavoured is unnoticeable so you might as well. I'll stop after 8 weeks, but will definitely use again after my period off.
I've been taking creatine monohydrate for several months now as an extra sup along with my whey protein (post workout), i try to take it around 20 minutes before a workout however taking it any time during the day works just fine. I take approx 7g a day and i get a noticable buzz from it, also i feel it gives a better pump after a session and therefore enhancing muscle growth in the long run. As far as flavours go, its always got that bitter sweet taste no matter which ones you try i find! but its only 150-250ml so just see it off! great value for money as well, the 1kg you can get 200 servings out of! Fantastic product from a fantastic company. I always wait for good discounts to come along, but thats probably just because im a poor student!
Mixed with protien shake, works really well, finding myself with more energy throughout my full workout, recovery time is less, lifting has increased. Very impressed!!!!
The effectiveness of the product is undisputed, I made good progress with my muscle mass and workouts while using CMH from MyProtein. For the price, you really can't go wrong if you're building an intensive strength routine. I personally found that I retained/gained muscle weight even while on a cut. Now - a warning about the flavour. The first pouch I bought was I think tropical flavour.. the taste was so strong, artificial and overly sweet that even when one tiny scoop was mixed with 500ml of water, it was still almost unbearable and I think I choked it down only twice, with the help of a straw, before I had to order a pouch of unflavoured. It was seriously revolting. The unflavoured powder, however, has almost no taste when mixed with water (it lends a very, very slight bitter taste at the back of the tongue) but when you're gulping down water after a workout you won't really notice it. You could even mix it with your protein shake after your workout, all it does is slightly lessen the sweetness of the whey flavoured powder. Mixability - mixes well, but it needs to spend a good two minutes dissolving in the water to go from cloudy to clear. Goes Well With:Water, protein shake
Good cheap form of standard creatine. Usually mix 5g with apple juice pre-workout and 5g with whey post-workout, non-workout days I'll add 5g to the morning shake. Can give a salty texture if you don't use enough liquid, I mix with a milk frother instead of a spoon and does the job.Goes Well With:Apple Juice, Impact Whey/Casien

Works really well , easy to take ! Amount you need to to take is so small taste doesn't matter just stick in the mouth and chuck some water in. I use the yellow plastic cases from kinder eggs to carry each dose for work etc when loading ! Better than plastic bags and carrying the full bag
After a month of training with just Whey shakes, I decided to add Creatine into the mix. I take 10g Creatine per day on training days (5g of monohydrate with a morning shake then 5g included in the recommended serving of Hurricane XS for post workout) and just 5g mono on rest days. I train for 3 days per week, mostly free weights. The weight is approximate when using this powder, I use a standard heaped teaspoon. I have the unflavoured version. I haven't tried mixing with just water but when included with a chocolate Whey shake it doesn't alter the flavour at all. Timings are the same each time. Always 5g first thing in the morning with breakfast and on training days an additional 5g immediately post workout in the evening. It took 2 weeks to make a difference. After that period I noticed a bigger post-workout pump (I assume due to the water retention). Shoulders, chest and arms look fuller and more rounded post-workout. This could be placebo as this could be occurring because I'm actually getting bigger but the pump definitely feels 'different', more satisfying. My abs are also more pronounced, especially the 'V'. In terms of performance (the main reason I started using Creatine), I've noticed an increased weight ability but only for compound exercises, i.e. not curls. By far the biggest difference for me is Dumbbell shoulder press. I used to shoulder press 14KG dumbbells and remember trying 16KG but it was very difficult for me to lift them up to the start position. Now my explosive power has increased, allowing me to lift up 22KG dumbbells and I can push 6-8 reps with that. In terms of curls: I feel increased endurance and the ability to squeeze out an extra rep but not the ability to increase my standard set weight without substantially reducing reps. So in conclusion: A better post - workout pump and for me personally, heavier weight and improved power for compound exercises, especially Shoulder press. Goes Well With:Any liquid (unflavoured)
Good product, aids muscle growth and recovery time. My advice is to mix it with water in a glass and stir until fully dissolved (this will take 2-3 mins) as this product is not effective if not dissolved. Probably not the best idea to put this in your protein shake as you can't check if it's dissolved. I mix my unflavoured with water and it tastes like water. You could put squash in it after it's dissolved. Goes Well With:Water
I'm pretty new to this product, ordered the flavourless 1kg pouch as I didn't like the look of the E numbers in the flavoured versions. Not to sure about its effectiveness as of yet, however only just started using this, tastes nasty on its own, I mix it with MP diet whey post workout shake where it's not noticed, what I will say like most My Protein products is that it's great value for no doubt a quality product, the star rating given is basically because it's too early to tell if it's working, "everyone's different" also the taste is rank and a bit dissapointed the flavoured versions are laced with E numbers, these don't fit into a clean eating schedule !! As far as creatine goes, it does what it's supposed to - my muscles appear slightly fuller (as your muscle cells pull in more water), I can get a few more reps in on my top sets (running the 5/3/1 program), and the weights feel slightly lighter. I'm mainly reviewing the peach mango flavour, which is delicious. Strongly recommended.
I have only been using this product for a few of weeks so I may not be best person to refer to for long term effects, but the short terms effects were pretty noticeable straight away. After a couple of days of taking this product I felt quite a lot stronger and could lift more than my PBs after a couple of sessions. I got the unflavoured version as advised by a friend, I never asked why but I assumed to avoid the additives in the flavoured versions. It mixes well with my Impact weight gainer and also mixed with any other protein shake when I tried it with them too. It doesn't mix too well with water though and tastes a bit grainy like a crushed up paracetamol in water, which goes through and makes me cringe me but I just power through. The taste isn't very nice on it's own but it's expected with me now buying any of the flavoured versions. I did notice after taking this that I was thirsty a lot more and would urinate a lot more as well when taking this, I believe this product is known to retain water in certain people so this would explain why this is happening, but if you're happy to go to the toilet a few more times a day then there shouldn't be any problem with this. Does what it says on the tin. Always buy this stuff as I've found it to helps me get that extra rep etc. and I'm not as sore after a workout as I am when I'm not using it. I read a lot of people saying it doesn't mix well..., I quite agree, but I find taking it straight (teaspoon straight in the mouth and wash down with water) works better for me and there's no waste :)
Easy to mix into normal protein shake & virtually disolves. Feel better post-workout after taking this and would recommend it. Definitely prefer this over the tablet form.Goes Well With:Any protein shake powder.
Bought creatine for first time to try had unflavoured to mix with my whey and it mixes lovely no bad tastes not powdery also mixes great with squash or water can't say about the effects as only in first week so see what happens. Goes Well With:Protein shake, water or squash

I have used MP Creatine on and off now for a few years, each time I go back to using Creatine I notice a significant difference in my workouts, especially with endurance, whether it's that extra 5 mins cardio or that extra rep. For a product that is so cheap and long lasting you may as well have it in your supplement cupboard, a 1kg bag lasts me quite some time, I usually take 4-5g after workout then 1-2g a bit later in evening/night. I read your muscles can be more effective taking on the creatine post-workout as they are more absorbent, same with protein...I gave it a try as usually I do pre-workout. I think post-workout is giving me better results but this could differ from person to person. Just sharing my personal opinion. I gave mix-ability 4/5 as sometimes it can sink after stirring, but swill the glass with water to get the rest from the bottom. Flavor 5/5 - I did not want to give it 1 as it does not taste bad, it tastes of nothing, so mix with juice or get flavored. My last creatin became lumpy in the pouch, wouldn't mix in water & made me bloated. Plus it cost more! This stuff is great, I mix it with orange juice before the gym & put it in my post workout shake too. Tastes totally neutral!
Right, so I've been lifting since I was 16 years old, made some gains, however through doing mixed martial arts I've never really looked jacked, I started using creatine weighing in at 120lbs 5'4, when I decided to do a proper bulk. I started 1st of December 2015 starting with 2500 calories then started upping caloric intake to 3500 while lifting 6 days a week (Chest, legs, back, rest day, chest, legs, back). My initial feeling was I could lift more weight with ease. My strength was increasing rapidly and I didn't feel too tired during my workout. My routine was more focused on compound movements, Bench and Squat (not dead lift because I didn't have proper guidance so I left that out). I also workout shoulders, biceps, triceps, abs and calves everyday I went to the gym. Sets of 5, 5 - 10 reps. My weight started increasing, strength also, after a 3 month consistent bulk, I made huge noticeable gains. My weight went up to 150lbs after 3 months, I'd also drink up to 5 litres of water a day. I'd recommend it, but to those who have been lifting for a few years and need a boost in their physique or strength. HOWEVER, A large majority of the time I did feel bloated from all the water and food I'd have to take just to keep gaining which was difficult and tentative. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Also I'd have to go to the toilet quite often to pee. Another thing is if you miss taking 5g a day you'll have to take 10g the next. Its also difficult to get an exact amount if you're taking it through a protein shake because it'll leave some residue behind. So I'd put some water in my mouth, put the 5g in and chug it down with some more water that way I get an exact amount in without any residue behind. A 1kg bag will last you like 3/4 of the year and its very cheap too so its perfect for those who dont want to spend too much! Finally, I just wanted to say that I did hit PRs consistently from creatine and bulking, I managed to hit 65kg flat bench for 1, 70kg Squat for 1. I added 2 inches on my arms. After my bulk I decided to stop taking creatine and I did lose some weight but my natural weight did go up to 10st (144lbs) which I'm happy with, I haven't lose any size either but my strength has decreased. I'd recommend the supplement though!!! Goes Well With:Whey protein (Its better to get your protein in through food though), Multivitamin and a massgainer if you find it difficult to gain weight and most importantly FOOD!!!
