Any Issues With Aminogen®?


There is a lack of information regarding the nutrient. In the most published and recognised studies on the product, the lowest studied and the effective controlled amount was 2.5g. This equates to 2500mg.

Was it effective at this dose?

Yes, it showed an increase in Isoleucine, Leucine, Valine, Arginine and Glutamine levels within the body. However, this study was only done at this level of intake (2.5 g). Protein powders on the market, from a variety of supplement companies, have been adding Aminogen® to their products.

 

However, the issue is how small the amount added to the supplements is. Most companies add anywhere between 25mg-300mg. This is roughly 10% of the amount that was used in the conducted study for minimal results. What this means is that the protein supplements available on the market today do not contain enough Aminogen® for it to have a positive effect on the body.

 

Will the protein supplements still work?

Of course, they will, however, this merely means that the claims these companies might make about the benefits of Aminogen® in their products are false unless they are adding around 2g or more compared to the typical 25mg most products offer.
