Crunchy Easter nests with a protein twist.

I’m loving all the chocolatey Easter recipes our ambassadors have been whipping up lately, and they’re not done yet. This week, Kirsty Fletcher (@kirstyfletcher_) has revived a childhood classic and added a protein punch — Protein Easter Egg Nests.

Crunchy corn flakes, silky chocolate spread, Mini Eggs and the much-loved (and coveted) Easter Egg Layered Bar are combined in this recipe to create a real Easter crowd pleaser. And did I mention they have 7.5g of protein per nest? Anyway, I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s dive into the details...

Makes 6 nests (plus plenty of Mini Eggs left over for snacking).

Ingredients

Instructions

1.

Melt your chocolate spread and slowly mix in your protein powder. Then combine with the corn flakes.

2.

Spoon your mixture into cupcake cases and use your fingers to create thumb-sized dips in the centre.

3.

Next, slice your Easter Egg Layered Bar into chunks, and add one chunk to the centre of each nest along with 2 Mini Eggs.

4.

Pop in the fridge for 3-4 hours then enjoy.
