Purchase for sure
4I purchased these to try after being addicted to a certain high street well known brand but couldn't stomach the price. The carb crushers tasted amazing and did not have the powdery consistency I feared. They are excellent value for money and certainly hit the spot for filling you but feeling you have had a cheeky treat!

Change to recipe = not a fan
2I bought this product in summer last year and I loved the flavour... it was one of few bars that didn’t taste grainy. I’ve recently bought them again and they are a totally different product - really powdery and not a particularly great taste. Also the chocolate is all cracked and discoloured. Wouldn’t recommend.

Really good
5I didn't read any of the reviews and just bought a box of the caramel nut. No idea how they used to taste but personally I think they are delicious now and nutritionally impressive. Have tended to buy the protein brownies esp in the summer as they hold up well in a warm bag on the move but these are likely to be my new 'go to' sweet treat for home from now on.Goes Well With:Black coffee

Worst bar on the web
1As if you have the best bar on the web and then you add a big massive dump in the recipe and call it "New and improved". Any of the people saying this is better than the old bar are either a MP employee or have very poor taste buds. E.g I'm happy to have expensive chocolate or bog standard cadburys, but this bar is like a cheap knockoff mocklate version of chocolate.Goes Well With:The bin or a finger down the throat.

New recipe thumbs down
2Having read the reviews I now know what you mean by the new improved recipe tasting awful. I ordered a sample bar to begin after reading the reviews; thought it tasted nice and ordered a whole box. A big big mistake and waste of money. Really is not nice and the bars have like a white powdery kind of coating, bit like when chocolate is out of date (which it isn’t). Yuck!

Not good
1Really not nice, for some odd reason the bar smells like beef oxo cubes and doesn't taste right at all, really couldn't even finish 1 bar.Goes Well With:Gravy, Sunday dinner maybe?

5Loved it! Tasted delicious. Sweet enough to stop my chocolate cravings. Would deffo have again! Tried the Sea Salt & Dark Chocolate also loved!

Love these! Excellent snack replacement
5I keep re-ordering Fudge brownie as I love them. Low on sugar and very high on protein. Very good taste. Recently tried Strawberry cheesecake as another option. It was good in taste but I prefer Fudge brownie! :)
