What is Super Omega 3?

Super Omega 3 is a high strength fish oil providing a minimum of 760mg Omega 3 for every 1000mg softgel. Super Omega 3 Benefits

Each Super Omega 3 serving contains a minimum of 530mg EPA and 90mg DHA. This seems like a good product overall - mega high doses of EPA and DHA, and a fantastic price. However, I was annoyed to see the product arrive in a clear plastic pot - with zero protection from light oxidisation. It's conclusively shown that light oxidises omega 3 fatty acids - which is why most other quality brands come in darkened glass or plastic containers. It also makes me wonder how the product is manufactured, if very basic measures like this haven't been put into place. Would also be good to have more info about the 'purification process' used, because heavy metal toxicity in fish oil supplements is a big concern these days. I guess that for the money this is a valuable high dose supplement - though I'm not sure I'd get it again, unless the container issue is fixed. I'd rather pay more and know that the fish oils are in a healthy, pure state! :-)

Great product so far, but on the back of the container it very clearly says 'consume 1 soft gel daily' with a warning to never exceed the reccomended dose. Then on your suggested use on this site, it's says up to three times daily. Yet in your description box it says up to four per day!! Not great considering you should be 100% clear on these things for safety sake...

Just ordered these and a little confused. Wrote up says you can benefit from taking 4 or more softgels a day but recommended dose says not more than 1 a day. Can someone clarify exactly how many I should be taking. Only given a star as I have to rate it to post this!

Super Omega 3 are a better more concentrated version of the regular omega 3 softgels due to these having around twice the EPA and DHA content which are the two main essential fatty acids that our bodies require and cannot product, these are essential for numerous bodily functions and allow for optimal brain function, heart health and support healthy cholesterol levels, normally i use around 6 to 9 of the regular softgels per day to meet required amounts of EPA and DHA but with these 3 is plenty per day which is better as i no longer need to consume as many capsules per day. The liquid versions is also another higher dosed superior option but does have an odd taste which is why i recommend to opt for this version instead. These are great and I have taken them for years. The website says to take them 3 times a day. However the actual bottle says 1 a day. Might want to get that change.

Like this product a lot. There is no fishy burps or after taste. Pills are large but go down easily with water. After a week of use I'm feeling better overall from use so will continue to use them.

Super Omega 3 is a decent supplement to assist cognitive function if you don't or won't get a lot of fish in your diet. Personally, 1 or 2 tins of mackerel fillets will do a better job. It's a cheaper alternative with these supplements.

This is a superior omega 3 supplement providing higher levels of the essential fatty acids, EPA and DHA which are required for optimal brain and heart function, i have used the normal soft gels but found i was requiring 6+ per day to meet requirements for EFA's so have switched over to this more concentrated higher quality version which only requires 3 softgels per day which works out better when you already consume a range of vitamins and minerals as well as thermopure, l carnitine, CLA and creatine in tab form. For a more concentrated form of essential fatty acids to improve health and well being i recommend you opt for this higher dosed version, the liquid form is also better again if you are looking to push omega 3 intake even higher if required.
